I didn't want to pick some random salon off the internet for something relatively permanent. At our first meeting for my free consultation, I was immediately impressed. Joanne was extremely thorough, taking measurements and photos. She then drew a detailed stencil over my brows of what she recommended, so I could decide if I liked it or wanted to make any changes. I scheduled the actual procedure for the following week. Again, super impressed. She took more measurements and confirmed what we had discussed during the consultation before she began. After another stencil for my approval and guidelines for her, she applied a numbing cream. The procedure was a piece of cake. I never felt any pain during or afterwards and my brows look amazing! I have a follow up appointment in a month so she can check my healing progress and see if I need any touch up. So glad I came to Joanne. I could not be happier. Just a heads up, she does not take credit cards.

You lay on a reclined chair, and Jane puts a warm blanket on you. She cleans your lashes, sticks them to a pad, and puts the solution on. I recommend having a podcast or music set up beforehand because it happens pretty quickly. You slip on the earphones and 30 mins later the process is done. Afterwards, beautifully-curled eyelashes. I just got them done on Friday, so I'll update how long they last. But so far, so good. I waited 24 hours before washing my face and 48 hours before using any oils or creams. No music or any attempt to chat (the latter of which I'm fine with, but some may be put off by it). Day after: - corner eyelid has a tiny area that's red and raw (and painful to touch); I'm guessing it may have been burned from chemicals used. I had mentioned the stinging during appt, but was told it's normal - right eyelid slightly swollen - eyelashes are not even; very jagged The reason I gave two stars as opposed to just one is that the technician seemed friendly enough. If you want to pamper yourself, this place is definitely not what you're looking for. Based on the other reviews, I'm assuming she just did a bad job on me as she was rushing to be somewhere else...
