I have been to so many nail salons and this one is the BEST! The staff is friendly, caring, and they actually will speak English in front of you! The owner even gives her phone number out so you can text her directly , even photos of what you want, and she and her staff will do the best to accommodate you. This place looks clean also, parking can be tough in the location as well but overall it's a 10/10 for me! I always get gelx. Prices are fair and they have all the cool things. read more

I was able to get an appointment for the same day which was great. Parking was easy to find near the library. The service itself was ok not good not bad. The prices i would say are 5$ less than other businesses around. The reason i probably wont return is it is quite normal to have the staff talking to each other during nail service but I thought it was just too much here. I did not take my airpods and for 1 hour the cross talk between 3 staff members led to me not relaxing at all. read more

They were responsive when I reached out to make an appointment on Yelp, and texted me to confirm my appointment and service the day before. The salon is a bit on the smaller side, but cozy and the woman that worked on my nails was detail oriented. I got a simple gel mani and it turned out well - prices are comparable if not a little bit lower than other salons in the neighborhood. Would likely return! read more

Lisa and all her staff are friendly, professional, and talented. I've been going here for a few years now and I always have a great experience. I have a salon that I've gone to for over 19 years but since I moved to the peninsula, I've been looking for a new salon that's up to standards. I get regular pedicures but my big toe nails have ingrowns and are slightly crooked so it requires a little extra care. I've tried one a block away from my house but it wasn't great. My friend brought me along to this spot and honestly, my first experience wasn't amazing but the owner was kind enough to offer me a complimentary service to make up for it. I may try this place for the time being since the second pedicure was nice and the owner is so sweet. read more

I recently moved my lash business near this area and needed a go-to nail salon. I called this business for a same day appointment and they were available on a Saturday! I came in and Lisa and her team greeted me, everyone was so kind and did an amazing job. Lisa worked on my gel-x set and her other team member did my gel pedicure + gel removal. My gel-x feel so strong, there is no chipping or breaking even though I'm pretty hard on my nails. Lisa already knew I wanted almond without me telling her and the shape, color and design was perfect. Price was around $120 for all services. So reasonable and just amazing work to match the price. I have been hesitant about trying a new nail studio since moving to the peninsula almost 6 months ago. Today, 4 of my acrylics (from a different salon+tech) lifted off and the others were doomed to follow shortly by either naturally popping off or by way of my terrible habit of picking anything slightly imperfect with my nails. So I jumped on yelp. After about 20 minutes of going in circles reading reviews, I decided to call Pampered & Polished. I asked if they had time for a walk-in and was told to arrive in 45 minutes. Perfect. Once I arrived, Lisa took a look at my current state and set me to soak for removal. She guaranteed me there would be time for her to not only remove my gel-on-acrylic monster claws, but also to reapply a whole new set. Lisa and Han worked together with great care to remove my old set safely before getting to work on the beauties pictured. Lisa shaped my acrylics and Han did the color. Both did exceptionally well. I've been to a fair number of nail techs, and this was hands-down my best experience. AND the price was the best I've gotten. Unmatched work by Lisa. I will be a regular every 2-3 weeks. SO THRILLED to find a treasure team in dt bgame. Note: Lisa just took over the salon about 2 months ago. Any old negative reviews mean NOTHING anymore. read more

I so rarely leave reviews, and I don't think I've ever left a review before for a nail salon. I was just in the area because my husband was getting an eye exam, and I wanted a bad gel polish removed. I walked in, got assigned to T, and was blown away. T did an exceptional job. She was just detail oriented and unrushed, and she did not take any shortcuts. She was gentle around my cuticles especially, and she was careful not to damage my natural nail bed when she was removing my gel. In fact, my pinky finger was still healing from getting jammed the week before, and I didn't even need to tell her to be gentle-the way she handled my hands, it didn't hurt. It was a little pricey, but I'm so pleased, especially since wedding season and a series of lazy gel manis and removals have left my nails a little thin. I'm seriously considering that in the future I might drive down from SF to have T do my nails when I have an event. Thank you! read more

Great service! I called in Sunday morning and was able to get a same day appt. When I walked in and gave my name they had me pick a color and wait a few minutes for her to finish the set she was working on. The remainder of the time I was there she addressed me by my name and had great attention to detail when it came to my nails! I truly wish I was from the area because this would without a doubt be my go to salon! At the end she massaged my hands with some lotion and put a warm towel over my hands and it was just the cherry on top! Highly recommend! I wish I had time for a pedicure while I was there! I've gone a couple of times and Lisa the owner has done a fantastic job. She is skilled in builder gel and did a great almond shape. I've also had Gel X and again super job of shaping the nail. I think I've found my go to nail salon near the Burlingame area. There are plenty salons nearby, but after visiting Pampered and Polished a few times now services here have been pretty solid. Since I live nearby I like coming on weekdays around the late afternoon when they're not as busy. I would still recommend calling in ahead of time to schedule an appointment if you can, but I do see them accepting a handful of walk-ins. The studio itself is a little small but when it's not packed it feels just fine. I love that their selection of polishes (regular and gel) are neatly organized and they carry a lot of brands for options. If I know I want to try a design I usually try to request Lisa, but any of the ladies there do great work for regular manicures/pedicures. Pricing is pretty fair considering the location of the salon. Recommend trying them out! read more

I visited this place for the first time and had a great experience! Firstly I got an appointment for the same day for a mani and pedi. The pedicure included the foot massage with a scrub , hot towel and hot stone! I wasn't expecting a hot stone massage for a basic pedicure but was pleasantly surprised. I really needed that after a all the hiking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even helped me put on shoes so that my pedicure doesn't get spoilt. :) Their attention to detail was something I won't forget. It seemed like they were more concerned about my pedicure than I was when they wrapped my toenails with a plastic wrap before I could wear my shoes and socks :) I paid $50 excluding the tip for my manicure and pedicure which I felt was decent. Next time I visit Burlingame I'd love to stop by this place again! Lastly my nails look great :) Thank you for the service read more

I had the BEST experience yesterday at Pampered and Polished by Lisa and Michelle. I went in for a gel x manicure full set and a gel pedicure. Pedicure was flawless. When it came time for my manicure the result was not so. My set shape and size was too short and pointy. My fingers are short and wide so the nail shape can be complicated and after they were done the nail shape looked like tiny little Doritos. I was crushed. I contemplated saying something because I hate being that person but I was going on a trip. I finally summoned the courage to say I didn't like the shape. It was 5 PM and they close at 7pm. I had already been there for over an hour. Lisa was an angel. She immediately offered to take off the entire set and start over. She was sweet and kind and absolutely wonderful. Michelle finished my new set beautifully. They were both the kindest people. They did not make me feel bad for speaking up and starting over even though they both ended up working twice as long on me. I could not be more happy with my experience. I will forever be a customer thank you so much Lisa and Michelle! I love your work and your customer service! read more

This review is long overdue: Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing! I've been coming here monthly for gel builder nails and gel pedicures since 2024, and every visit has been fantastic. Lisa treats my appointments with care and professionalism. Their selection of colors is impressive, with a perfect mix of trendy and classic options. As someone who loves natural colors, I never feel limited! The quality of their work is exceptional. My gel builder nails stay flawless for weeks without lifting or chipping, and their gel pedicures are equally durable and beautiful. They pay close attention to every detail. I opted for a combination gel manicure and gel pedicure, which was amazing! The best part is almost always the warm foot bath, massage, hot stone massage and hot towels! When it came to the manicure, it's actually a dry manicure, which I've never had before, nor have I ever heard of them! Let me tell you, there is such a thing as a dry manicure and I prefer this way better than a wet manicure. I have eczema, so I am very selective of nail salons and this was great! The different drill bits that Tracy used are to exfoliate the cuticles and around your nail bed, so minimal cutting/trimming is done. I made another appointment through their website for 07.13.26, again with Tracy, to have my gel manicure and gel pedicure removed and this time chose the combination classic manicure and classic pedicure. Basic treatments as before except for regular polish, not gel. Loved every minute of it! I would highly recommend this place! Convenient location. It's near a parking garage or there is street parking. The service and quality is great! The people are nice. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. Thank you Tracy for a great experience!

It was easy to schedule an appointment through their website. I am so happy I did and can't wait for my next manicure! I decided to go back to my natural nails so I got an acrylic removal and a gel manicure. I can't state enough how impressed I was with their attention to detail during the entire experience. They did not rush through the process and took their time to paint on the nail design I requested. I sometimes don't have a ton to chat about but everyone was nice and let me sit quietly listening to the music and watching people queue on the boba line outside. Needless to say, I highly recommend.

I thought that was kind of steep, but I have a Christmas event coming up and thought it would look nice. She specifically told me that she can complete the service in 40 minutes. When complete, I stood up and looked in the mirror. I told her that it didn't look like there was any dye on my eyes. Period, and that it looked like nothing had been done. She then stated that she would only charge me $100. I again asked her if she can go lower because it doesn't look like she did anything. She told me it was her time and it cost $25 to remove the LASHES. Let's go on the record for removal of LASHES. It took her five minutes to remove the leftover lashes. So be it, I honored that. But I was really upset deep down as to what she was going to charge me for something that didn't take. The room was kind of dark, and I again told her that I didn't see a difference. I then asked her if she would accept $75. She said OK.. When I got home, I looked in the mirror and was even more upset that I had even given her any money. My eyes were not done at all. She took advantage of the situation. She didn't fulfill the service that she promised or provided. My lashes weren't dark. My lashes weren't tinted. The only thing she did was remove my old Lashes. Morally and ethically she is wrong. It did not look like I had a service at all on my eyes. I was very upset and called the owner when I got home. I asked her if she would Venmo me back my $50 and she can keep the $25 for the removal of the LASHES. I stated that I was not happy and that my eyes did not look different at all . She said that I could come back, and pay the additional money to equal the $130., And then she would try to leave it on longer. I had told her that was not the point. That I am unhappy I can't come back right now because it's Christmas holidays and I do not have time. I asked her ethically if she would just credit me back the $50, and I will be a happy customer and come back and do my nails . I had yelped this business two weeks ago about their nails. I gave them a five out of five because I thought they did a great job with NAILS. I came back today and had my nails done as well. And then that's when everything turned tragic. That is when I asked Trammy if she could tint and curl my lashes. She knew the time constraints, and she still stated that she was able to tint and curl the lashes. I told her that I would be yelping her again. She is a horrible business owner, and has done a very good client wrong. Me telling her that I'm going to write her on yelp is not threatening. I wrote a five out of five on Yelp with my nails two weeks ago. I am a Yelp elite, and I Yelp all the time. I will be yelping my experience and change my star review from five stars to one. Trammy's customer service and taking advantage of customers is absolutely wrong.. I will be spreading the word. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY .. all she had to do was credit me back my money. I did not receive the service that was promised... felt very taken advantage of. And- as she said... Price was determined before completion. After completion, it was an absolute terrible job. And in regards to the time constraints that she mentioned... She had expressed that she was able to do the job and complete the lash tint and curl within the time restraints Trammy is a greedy owner. I know she has some really good reviews, and I know a couple of my friends actually like her. But after this, she has truly shown who she really is. Again... I agreed to the price upon completion. But after the completion was done, it was not fulfilled as she promised.

I had never had this kind of manicure before but the owner who coincidentally did my nails explained the pros of this kind of manicure, what the process was, etc. She was patient about answering my questions, and helped me to pick the right color and best shape for my hands/nails which I really appreciated.
