Walked in for threading and waxing and left hair free and happy. Two of the women helped me for my needs and did a nice job and were very friendly. Prices were average to the Bay Area. I didn't see a phone number to make an appointment so I think you just walk in. They are very fast so wait time shouldn't be too much of an issue. read more

I usually love leaving positive reviews for businesses I visit, but unfortunately, I can't do that for RB Threading in Burlingame. I went in on Tuesday, February 25, around 4:30 PM, and had a terrible experience. The lady who did my eyebrows did a horrible job--I explained exactly how I wanted them shaped, yet she kept missing spots. I had to ask her over three times to clean up areas she overlooked, and even then, the result was not what I asked for. To make things worse, she was way too aggressive with the threading and actually cut into my skin multiple times. It was painful and completely unnecessary. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and have never had an experience this bad. I truly wanted to like this place, but after this visit, I can't recommend it to anyone. If you care about your brows and don't want to leave with irritated, cut-up skin, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more

Is it a norm that the threading specialist will watch tv while they do the service? Mine was sitting in the store playing her phone when I showed up, and after I sat down, she made sure to have her phone set up properly and her favorite tv playing loud and clear, then she started my eyebrows. I didn't want to make a fuss because I didn't want to irritate her.. well not sure if that actually helped me, but when she was done, my eyebrows looked terrible, and one of them is shortened horizontally. Great place for eyebrow threading! The only place that I go to and trust that they will not make my brows too thin. You have to walk down the stairs to get to their shop so it's easy to miss but a total hidden gem. I believe they take appointments but I've always walked in and never had to wait longer than ~10 mins. read more

The store is to find, there are no signs saying the store is in the basement and the address doesn't make it obvious. Very basic place to get eyebrows done. The esthetician not ask what kind of shape I want, also did not attempt to shape eyebrows and said she was unable to shape well as i had gone too long between appointments - just cleaned up. read more

Haven't gotten my brows done professionally in forever because I have been scared of them overdoing it based on bad experiences in the past. Finally decided to give it another shot and am so glad I stumbled upon Rb's! My brows look great and Rb's made sure to keep them as full as possible but still shape them nicely. She offered eyebrow tint which was such a great idea for my light brows. it didnt look too dark and she even gave me tips to help my brows get fuller. Waxing is something you usually get in get done. But I had the most amazing experience with Kritika today. I was dreading getting waxed after the long COVID break, but she made it so easy and painless. Really put me at ease, and I am so happy with her attention to detail. But the best part was having her fix my eyebrows. After a threading gone wrong at a different place, I have been avoiding getting my eyebrows done.
