Wonderful food and staff. Had the make your own bowl. A lot of great options. Beautiful decor and soothing atmosphere.

Build your own bowl (sauces are zhoug and pomegranate molasses vinaigrette -wow) and chicken kabob

Beautiful restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and the best food I've had in a very long time. Every item pictured was 10/10 (haven't tried the baklava yet but I can assume it's amazing). So flavorful and fresh. We live in Jacksonville FL and this place is definitely worth the trip!

    Beautiful space

Beautifully renovated space! The food was amazing with lots of gluten free options (including GF pita and GF falafel....incredible!) Kudos to Hersch, our server, for helping to make this a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back!

It had crunchy chickpeas and pomegranate seeds as well, and it has to be one of the best hummus dishes I've had.

During our Savannah eating bonanza, we had brunch at Common Restaurant. The brunch menu is fairly…read moreextensive, so we had some difficulty choosing what to order....but definitely come hungry because the portions are large and the food is pretty rich. To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. The mushroom tartine/sandwich was really flavorful with the pesto, cheese and tons of mushrooms. The restaurant is quite large with an upstairs seating area.

However, the lady at the front was not welcoming to us with our children. She said upfront that there are no kid menus, high chairs and strollers had to be placed elsewhere. I get it, it is good for us to know but it came across a bit unfriendly. She also did not want my daughter to momentarily sit in the waiting area with the other guests. I would understand if this was a fine dining upscale restaurant that was quiet but the ambiance was very ordinary. There was regular restaurant noise and people dressed casually. If you are going to advertise your establishment as "good for kids" please consider the way you are talking to families who want to dine here.

So needless to say I was happy to hear about this place. Soon as you walk in, you are greeted with 6 kiosk screens to your right, optional if u wanna place your order and easy to operate. There's also someone available to take your order if you feel more comfortable going that route. The interior is very spacious, clean and peaceful, great for studying or dining in. There's also a glass that separates the guest from the staff, so you're able to see your food being prepared. Today I got a Mexican ceasar with a side of avocado, delicious by the way. Also on the kiosks it allows you to personalize your meal, or customize. 10/10 experience

Since I was traveling solo, it was easier for me to get my drink before sitting, rather than waiting for my food and then having to go to the drink fountain. The teammate though did seem very inconvenienced by this, though she did give me a cup. I think this is because they use a sticker system on all the food/drinks, but this seems like a service win to help customers that can be easily accomplished. The salad was fine. The buratta felt a little small, but overall it was good. I'd visit again for a healthy option, despite some concerns about the experience.

Outside seating space was perfect, with a slight breeze. Noise level low as it's not on a busy street, we enjoyed a peaceful time. Perhaps the bar was set too high to live up to. Their famous sandwhich is the CONQUISTADOR. Featuring chicken with their special sauce. It is not cravevable to me. Today I tried the GODFATHER. I think it may be the CONQUISTADOR with sausage added to it. I find their bread hoagies to be a little dry. It could be much improved if the bread was fresh. The fries are really good. I am thinking that a side of the special sauce for the sandwich would make a great fry dip! Service was really slow today. Drink orders took forever. The two people in our group that ordered a poke bowl were served last when everyone else was about done. You don't have to cook raw fish and vegetables so not sure what happened. They didn't charge for the poke bowls due to the long wait, which was fair. This is an outdoor seating venue, but they have tent covers and an outdoor TV to watch sports games. I enjoy the atmosphere.
