Great place! It had incredibley good service. It's a great place to go for a romantic dinner or even just a casual meal. We started with bread, I thought the bread was just okay. Then we ordered a shepard salad. They didn't have to do this, but it was very nice, they split it in to two for us. The salad was really good, it was chopped and loaded with flavor. I thought my wife was getting a gyro, at the last second she went with a falafel pita instead. It tasted good but she said the texture was bit funky. Awsome fries! Me, I had lamb chops, it was served with asparagus and rice. First the rice , a normal sized portion, and it tasted good. The asparagus, cooked perfect, also incredible good. Finally the lamb chops, OMG, cooked perfect, tasted great. Loved the lamb chops! We finished it off with some baklava. The whipped cream on it was different, but it was good. Visiting Savannah for the first time and we were STARVING ... decided on Mediterranean and we were NOT disappointed. We were greeted immediately and Dalton was so funny and nice as he took our orders! We each had a dessert appetizer as we waited for our to go orders and I had the tiramisu... so good! 10/10 with a mostly Halal menu! First off, the service was amazing. Our waiter, Chris, got us seated and ordered even though there was only about an hour before closing and we had a party of 5. He was quick without us feeling rushed (even though we did our best to be quick) The restaurant had a few others in it and a great atmosphere overall. I enjoyed the cute decor. The food itself was so amazing, I would go back easily and order new things to try. My personal favorite was the lamb chop and the spicy lamb burger, both were packed with amazing flavor and the burger has the perfect amount of spice. In Savannah for a soccer tournament and found this place on Yelp and glad I did. Place was cozy and very clean. Service staff during the day was so personable. This is my go to spot,the atmosphere is great for a nice date. You can actually hear the conversation. The food is always great . I was so hungry I forgot the picture, but know that the Salmon with cream sauce and capers are just delicious with a glass of Chardonnay. The staff is always pleasant, friendly and very attentive. I really enjoyed my late lunch experience at Troy's. I came here with family, and while it's tucked away in a plaza it's a hidden gem. Being greeted with a smile from Gwendolyn, we were seated immediately. We got the Miz Mezze platter to try a bit of everything. Everything was pretty especially the grape leaves and eggplant spread. Post COVID it seems like wait times at most restaurants have increased with a lack of staffing. This place certainly was no exception, as the wait time for our food seem to be unusually long. But that being said, the wait for a table long, especially considering the restaurant was only half full. And the wait time to get things, was unusually long. I had the gyro sandwich with an option of a cup of soup, french fries or a side salad. I chose the side salad and I feel like it was a really good choice, it was very good and provided a great compliment to the gyro. The hero sandwich was quite filling, I am definitely full and it was all very tasty. The lemon sauce in the gyro was good but I do prefer the traditional sauce in a gyro over the lemon sauce. The server brought water to the table and paper menus. The decor and ambiance was better than I was expecting! I ordered the Sheppard Salad to start and the Falafel Platter for dinner. The Sheppard Salad does not come on a bed of lettuce! It was flavorful and delicious. The falafel platter was great, I would have liked a bigger portion of rice though. We have been meaning to try this place for a while. We heard great things but weren't expecting too much. We were so surprised to see how cozy and nicely decorated the restaurant is. The menu is what you'd expect for a basic Mediterranean restaurant. The tzatziki is more like Turkish cacik. It's thinner and didn't have chunks of cucumber. Unfortunately, our server was rather loud. I'm not sure she realized how loud she was. We were put iff a bit by the exterior of the restaurant, which is deceivingly dull and the first steps inside look like carry out only. However, the hidden dining room is relaxing with light music, and nice decor. We started with the tabouleh appetizer. While small portioned for the price, it was a nice mix of bulgar wheat, parsley, and tomatoes. The garlic toast enhanced the dish. We opted to share two entrees. The gyro platter had exceptionally tender and flavorful gyro meat. The tzatziki sauce and pita bread perfectly complimented the gyro platter. We also had the almond encrusted tilapia, which was perfectly cooked, flaky, and delicious thanks to a delicious lemon caper sauce. Both meals came with rice and roasted vegetables consisting of yellow squash, zucchini, and carrots. The service was friendly and efficient. The house made sangria was flavorful. The beer was cold. Had a terrific dinner at Troy Mediterranean Cuisine! The mezze platter was delicious. I had the mussels appetizer as my entree. It was plentiful and a little spicy. Terrific! My husband had the cioppino. He liked it, but preferred my mussels. Probably because the broth got the mussels was more flavorful. I can't remember the name of the dessert we had, but it was so interesting. Had a mozzarella cheese base with some honey and phyllo dough "strings". It was served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
