I keep trying new French restaurants in the area and there are many fabulous chefs here but I still come back to Côte d'Azur. I think it's the whole package. Excellent service, beautiful surroundings and the lighting is soft Pair all that with delicious food and you have The perfect recipe. The wine advice was a great match for our veal chop entrees and I have never had better profiteroles in this country. My 71st birthday was very special but this was the proverbial cherry on the cake. Merci.

AN OVERDUE UPDATE We hadn't been to this outstanding French restaurant in many years, so we decided to have our Christmas Eve dinner here. Though it changed hands in 2017, the staff and romantic atmosphere remains. We started with two special appetizers: the Baby Calamari and the Mixed Organic Greens. Both were delicious. For our entrées, I had the Sea Bass with a Key West Shrimp special and it was just about the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and succulent. My wife had the Crispy Duck with Glazed Bosc Pears. She found it to be delicious though then presentation was a bit spare; the plate could have used some enhancement. For dessert, the Gelato Quartette (vanilla, chocolate, caramel, & raspberry sorbet with Belgian chocolate sauce) was superb. The service (we had Claude) was impeccable and we had perfect seating in an inside deuce, though some were dining in the outside air. Veal Chop Special with Mushrooms

We visited this quaint and intimate restaurant for our anniversary and could not have been more pleased and satisfied. The food is without a doubt the best French cuisine in Southwest Florida. We had the escargot (sweet and succulent) and mussels (briny and plump) for appetizers. The special veal chop was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms complimented them with and earthly and delicate sauce. The lobster was so light and flavorful it seemed to have been braised in milk. Our server, Tony, made us both feel welcome and appreciated. He answered every question we put to him. Cote D'Azur is our favorite place to celebrate as a couple and we will be coming back for years to come!

Yummy seared foie with delicious sides. Very rich and delicious.

We went to this restaurant to see Kevin and listen to his playing of French classics. We had a beautiful meal on the patio. It was very busy but plenty of room. The service was excellent and plenty of staff, which is amazing in this day and age. I had escargot with a delicious purée that was delicious and different from the regular garlic butter, although i love that as well. The next treat was the seared foie that was amazing. So beautifully presented. See picture. Absolutely delicious. The duck for my main entrée was delicious. Crispy skin and delicious sides. We sat on the patio to listen to the music but the inside dining was lovely . The decor nice. Lots of parking as it is in a strip mall. A little noisy on the patio as it is just off 41 but nice seating and plenty of it. Be prepared as it is pricey, but delicious and good for special occasions. I might have overdone it as i had two pricey dishes. I had the escargot, seared foie, and the duck. So more than enough. Took half the duck home and enjoyed it the next day with some of my home made blackberry compote, to enhance the cranberry compote they had, which was delicious. So a lovely meal all around. Enjoy!

This restaurant has been a staple in Naples for over 30 years. It's the best French restaurant in the area. The veal tenderloin is great.

This is one of the oldest restaurants in the north Naples area. No cocktail's, just wine. The veal tenderloin was amazing.

I was here last year and really enjoyed the top notch cuisine here. They brought some ciabatta bread and butter or olive oil. I tried not to consume too much bread while patiently waiting for the seared foie gras with toasted brioche, glazed Bosc pear, berries, cranberry chutney, Port wine cassis, which did not disappoint. I then enjoyed the crispy duck, but wish it had not come with the same accompaniments and a small portion of a sweet potato purée. But they do compliment both dishes well. For dessert I had their excellent profiterole which has a dark Belgium chocolate sauce and could not have been better! Service was good and I look forward to coming back.

This was our first time at this restaurant It definitely won't be our last. The artichoke appetizer gave my taste buds a real workout. We both ordered the crispy duck and it did not disappoint, best ever. Love that there were no bones and the sauce was perfection. We sat outside as we had our dog with us. (Yes they are dog friendly too) the atmosphere is very nice. Good music etc. The waiter was very attentive. We already made reservations for my husbands birthday.

Great dinner :) wonderful service in a cozy atmosphere! The food was delicious from start to finish. Our server made helpful recommendations and was very attentive. Menu is limited but for good reason as every dish is carefully crafted. Hope to visit again soon.

Our first time to Cote D' Azur and will not be the last!! We did not have a reservation since it was a last minute decision.. next time we will plan ahead. Our server Claude was very professional and knowledgeable, he was the only server however kept his cool and handled the busy night with attention to all tables. We choose the three course meal with wine pairings, the asparagus soup was very rich and full of flavor, I had the bass and my husband ordered the lamb both were wonderful and done to perfection. Wine selection is very nice and not over priced. Highly recommend this restaurant !!

    Profiterole with chocolate sauce

Excellent service! Excellent Food! We had the milk fed veal and the profiterole with chocolate sauce. Both were very well prepared. The service was fantastic. We spilled a glass of wine on the table and had three people cleaning and moving us to a new table within seconds. I will stop by again whenever I am in Naples.

There isn't a day since then that I don't think about that evening and the great dinner we all had. It was our fourth and last dinner together, we had not been thrilled by any restaurant in the area and I decided to search for 5 star Spanish restaurants in honor of Spain win. Well it did not disappoint. In fact it exceeded all our expectations! The ambiance is striking as you walk in, it throws you off with paintings all over and tables arranged with different style chairs, some with booths and in general old style. I must say it could have been the worst evening. The hostess/waitress/daughter of the owner, Sophia offered to sit us at a mixed table (chairs/booth) . Tables had to be moved and arranged, and the setup was not working out due to multiple issues, sitting between tables and 2 booth chairs, sunlight couldn't be blocked and was bothering one side of the table, and the group was a bit uptight after a negative experience the previous day. So I spoke up and said out loud that the seating wasn't working out. We must have been making somewhat of a scene and the owner/chef, John, came out to check on us, and calm the waters. We were kindly accommodated at a different table right in the middle of the restaurant. There was only one other couple in the restaurant and as soon as they left, the restaurant was all for us! I can't say enough about the food! We started with a few tapas, we shared a paella and others ordered their own entree. Everything was so amazing that we all ended up trying everybody's food. The food had this special taste....basque/french touch from the owners culinary origins. Sophia and John, served us like kings , and handled the situation at the beginning with flying colors. Super friendly, housewarming, and professional. Do not leave before you try the Basque torta. It's like a basque cheesecake. I dream about it every day. Take another piece to go, or you will regret it like we did, when we couldn't go back for more!

El Basque is one of those hidden gems you're excited to discover. Looking for an easy dinner one…read morenight, we decided to take food home, and it ended up being one of the best takeout meals we've had in a long time. We ordered the paella for four with skirt steak, white asparagus, and saffron rice. The portion size was unbelievable. Not only did it feed us dinner that night, but I enjoyed the leftovers for six meals afterward. The saffron rice was rich and flavorful, the skirt steak was tender, and the white asparagus added a nice touch that made the dish feel special. For dessert, we brought home the Basque cheesecake with fig sauce. It was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness from the fig sauce. Many people rave about the cheesecake, and after trying it myself, I understand why. It was absolutely delicious. We also picked up a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine for $25 each. Both wines paired beautifully with the food and made our takeout dinner feel a little more special. What impressed me most was how well everything traveled. The food tasted as good at home as it would have in a restaurant, and the generous portions meant we enjoyed El Basque for days. Great food, great value, and a meal that kept on giving. We'll definitely be back.

The first couple years we moved to Naples, this was my go to seafood restaurant (for date night,…read moreNYE, guest visits, etc). Absolutely love the Chilean sea bass. Last couple of years, we have been going to new restaurants in the area with varying results. My niece sent me a gift certificate for Christmas since she remembered when I brought her here with her family. I am glad she did since it reminded me how delicious the food is and how attentive the servers/staff are. We started with appetizers (foil gras and caprese salad). For our main entrees, I ordered the halibut special, and my husband got the seafood risotto. Both were delicious. Though I preferred the Chilean sea bass, the halibut was cooked well (buttery, flaky, etc) and came with lighter sides than the Chilean sea bass. The risotto was creamy with lots of seafood. Very good selection of wines by the glass. Overall, we had a very good meal and a pleasant evening. Since we didn't came here for their early dining specials, the check total was a bit pricey but is within reason for a 5th avenue restaurant. We Will definitely come back again.

Perhaps the most unique and forgettable meal I have ever had in US! I arrived in Naples Friday…read moreevening and was craving for food. Head to fifth ave. Unfortunately many restaurants there were fully seated and fortunately I got one in Bistro 821. I sat next to a couple and they asked me to join them soon after I just ordered my food. It was the second time that I was invited to have meal with strangers but the first time that I actually did that!!! Nervous at first but it turned out to be unforgettable. We chatted everything from food, sports, cities, cars, to more serious things like human and AI. They also recommended several sightseeing spots around the town so I really appreciate it! For food, I got the wagyu sirloin pot roast as entree. Good but not awesome. It came with two huge pieces and a scoop of mashed potatoes and two carrots and green beans. The meat was OK, the sauce was a bit too thick and I thought it was not a good idea to put both savory and sweet sauce on the meat. The mashed potatoes could be creamier. I did like the veggies as they were not oily, nor overly seasoned, thus paired well with the already-heavy meat and sauce. I also got a side of asparagus and it was good. Complimentary bread was delicious. When I finished my entree, the husband just suggested that we get some dessert. So.... After nearly 2 years without sweet food, I finally got some dark chocolate cake with ice cream. An amazing experience! Even though the food was not as good as I expected I should still give it 5 stars lol
