    Live Music Wednesday!

We've been coming here for years and it has been consistently good. Until today. G and I each ordered a calzone that was supposed to come with ricotta and mozzarella. The mozzarella was grated (some didn't melt during cooking) and while that was fine, the ricotta was like a cream sauce. Not that there was much of it, but it didn't look like grandma's ricotta and certainly didn't taste like ricotta. Service was good and it was nice to sit outdoors, now that first summer has given way to first fall. While I would like the pleasant weather to last, I'm hoping this was just an off experience.

Service was amazing! Drinks and appetizers arrived fast. Pizzas were delicious! The dough just melts in your mouth. TVs placed throughout the restaurants with different options for entertainment. Booth and table seating options. Really chill vibe. I would give this 6 stars, but I don't have that option. Highly recommended!

The drink was good. I had an Italian Margarita. The pizza was just okay to me. I judge pizza on it's reheatability. This didn't seem like good pizza reheated. It was delicious straight from the oven though. The service was nice and the place was clean. I would go back but for dine in only. The Parmesan garlic chicken wings were delicious as well.

This is a solid choice for Pizza in Wilson Co! Staff were nice! I heard a nice playlist as well sat there. Pizza and wings were good and the Margarita was very good.

Bottom pizza chicken pesto and carproccosia. Top supreme and sausage and bacon.

Back again for more...usually delicious pizza, knots and garlic Parmesan wings. Guess they were a little off today. The garlic Parmesan wing sauce is usually phenomenal but this time a little tart and acidic. Seemed like not enough garlic and Parmesan. We never leave any sauce behind but not this time. The garlic knots were not dressed enough. Bread was just right. Our pizza was good except for the procuitto was sour and smelled sour too on the capriccosia pizza. Then to top it off they got the size wrong on our friends pizza ordered 16 inch and received a 12 inch. They did bring them the correct size. Hopefully, this is just a one time poor experience. Unusual for so many issues. If I wasn't a regular then I probably wouldn't give them a second chance. Plus, the staff didn't really seem all too concerned. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

This is legit grown-up quality pizza! The setting is also more posh than other pizza places in the area that is good for a date night. The quality really came through. Online ordering was easy and food was ready when promised, though I think I'll not suffer a ride home and enjoy it there next time!

Probably the best pizza I have had since moving to TN. I started with a glass of Pinot Grigio and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious- I could have eaten that salad all day. The dressing was amazing. Then I ordered the Bianca Pizza... ricotta cheese. Mozzarella. Cheese, cheese, cheesy cheese and I added prosciutto- the crust was cooked perfectly - it came out pipping hot and was so yummy. Ended the dinner with a pistachio cannoli and it was very good but needs way more chocolate chips for sure. I recommend this place and cannot wait to go back!!

Yum! Thanks Yelp, for recommending this place to eat! We were passing through and wanted someplace local. SO GLAD WE STOPPED! After being seated promptly, our drinks arrived. I had a Martini with extra olives- delicious. We shared some bread knots and Caesar salad. Both were delicious!! I ordered the Margherita pizza with pepperonis and my husband got the meat lovers. Both were delicious! The crust was perfect and the sauce tasted fresh! I wish we lived closer as this would definitely be a favorite! Go eat here! So good! Clean and perfect for date night and for the family, too.

Used to be one of my favorite pizza places. Then they changed their menu. I won't be returning.

Pleasant environment and good food! I would have liked the crust to be crispier, but it was still good. The cheesecake was also amazing.

Really good pizza. Garlic knots are to die for. We get them every visit. The wood oven makes the ambience better.

Like, it's good enough that you *will* contemplate eating your order in your car before heading home. It's well worth the drive and it will live up to everything you've heard/read. It will. You absolutely need to patronize it. TdG had been on my radar for a minute but I'm not often in Hermitage* and I couldn't justify driving out of town for food when I have other options closer by. BUT I had to find out if the food was *just* that good. I'd read rave after rave. It's just pasta. Can it be that great? So, on a chilly late fall Saturday night I decided I needed to find out. I'd done my research so I knew the place was small. I knew I might need to play human tetris in the waiting area on a cold day. I knew what to order. But I also 'knew' that the 'say Yelp' phrase would offer a discount. The phrase was uttered but no discount came my way (which is the reason for the four stars instead of five). Lack of discount aside, everyone with whom I interacted was very polite and welcoming even despite the place being a madhouse of activity and orders. My food was ready in an appropriate amount of time and the bag had adequate weight/heft. The pleasant aroma filled the cold air as I walked to my car and surrounded me all the way home. I came home, poured a glass of wine, plated my food and... wow. This was/is phenomenal. I ordered the 4 cheese gnocchi and, without a doubt, one of the best gnocchi dishes I have had in life (and I used to be paid to eat**). I think I uttered the word 'perfect' between forkfuls. Each 'perfect' pillowy dumpling was lathered in a combo of mozzarella, asiago, gorgonzola, and pecorino. That alone would have been delicious but woven into the dish were ribbons of crispy prosciutto. Other.Worldy. It's getting cold. Sweater weather is here. Bathing suit season is months away. You're free to eat heaping plates of some of the best pasta you've ever had. *I came before they had a second location. **Among other things.

And to those people, I ask, "Have you ever been to Antioch?" No, this place isn't scary or in a rough neighborhood. It's definitely not Brentwood, but it's safe to say you can leave your pitchforks and torches at home. It is, for lack of better words, located in a hole in the wall of a micro-tiny strip mall, next to a sports bar. Inside, it is sweet and cozy. In this cozy place, you will find the friendliest of staff members. To have an entire staff give their customers the utmost respect is one of the most challenging tasks of any business owner. So the fact that this owner was able to achieve such a difficult task is something to applaud. There is no board with an entire menu, but there are small pamphlets off to the side with the menu. I ordered the pepperoni pizza along with the meatballs as an appetizer. My friend and I sat outside, where they have outdoor seating and tables. That, I have to say, is the only downside to this place. The seating. No indoor seating, and with how ever-changing Middle Tennessee's weather is, you might have to drive it home or eat it in the car. But with humidity changing texture in a box or to-go box, it might take the freshness away from the experience. After the food was brought out to us, which is a plus and highly appreciated, we were ready to eat. I did have to run inside to grab some packets of crushed red pepper. You must ask for it, which, without hesitation, the man minding the wood stove gladly grabbed for me. Separating a slice of pizza from the others was a sight to see. What you typically want to see separating pizza. The ooey gooey cheese in entanglement. I took a bite and fell in love with the freshness. Every ingredient is fresh, and you don't feel that awful sloth feeling that a Pizza Hut pizza would leave you with. The pepperoni was to die for. Although the meatballs had a flavor that I wasn't too happy with, I knew they were good, even if my flavor profile didn't desire it much. The meatballs were incredibly soft, and the sauce they bathed in, with a sprinkle of ricotta cheese, was divine. My friend happily downed the entire box they sat in. This now will forever be one of my go-to pizza places. And yes, it's worth it to eat in your car, if need be.

I especially love it when simplicity and genuine passion is served, not just presentation. Anyway, to start off - this market, and it's a market, not quite a restaurant. When my friend and I stopped in, there was one table, four chairs. Since we were there late, we were able to sit and dine in. Sitting and eating there allowed us to chat with Kojo - the owner. Learning not just about the market but his history and his passion for what he does. Switching gears again - the market is in a huge shopping plaza. Lots of parking. And free. As for the food - see the pics. Dinner pics is mixed in with what was left in the market. I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes he made on the spot for us. As we were there late in the day, most of the popular dishes were sold out however, he made a few suggestions, even two that were off the menu and made it to order. When we were there, it was a one man operation. So he was also our host and server. If you couldn't tell - service was excellent. Chatting about food. About seafood. About the beginning of Gulf Port. And about life in general. This is one of those places, that if I lived there - I'd frequent the place just because of him. It's just too bad that me going there requires a plane ticket and a five or so hour flight. But, also know this - next time I fly into Nashville, I'll make my way to Hermitage and have more delicious, fresh seafood.

**April 2025: Saturday Evening Visit**…read more My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere in the Hermitage area since that's where we were staying and Gulf Port Seafood had really high ratings, which were 100% well deserved. I should preface this by saying that Gulf Port is a seafood market first and that they have one table (4 chairs) so you can dine-in - but space is limited. Kojo, the restaurant owner, has both raw and hot options for patrons to enjoy. We came pretty late on a Saturday so many of his popular items (gumbo and lobster roll) were sold out, but we decide to try his other offerings which were delicious. We ordered the 2 orders of Cajun Crawfish Roll (methinks $15?), Seafood Mac & Cheese (methinks $20?) and Shrimp and Grits ($20? maybe) and all were made to order and brought to our table in a timely manner. The Cajun Crawfish Rolls came out first (I guess one order is given two rolls) and we demolished it. The toasted bun had a nice char, but was fluffy on the inside and the cajun sauce gave the crawfish nice flavor. We devoured this and were really impressed with the item. Next the Seafood Mac and Cheese came our as well as the shrimp and grits. The Mac and Cheese had such a great blend of cheeses and the noodles were cooked al dente. The grits on the shrimp and grits were scrumptious - not mushy at all and the shrimp was cooked through. Everything tasted very comforting and the prices are very reasonable! Overall, this was definitely a highlight meal of my Southern States travels and the next time I'm back in Nashville I hope to try the gumbo and lobster roll!
