What a packed house on a Sunday! Service was great. The pizza dough was amazing--had me eating the crust! Of course the pizza ingredients were all good too. Not a lot of frills but gets it done well. What is the deal with lighting in this area for restaurants?? like others in the area this place is MASSIVELY over-lit and feels harsh. Minimal decor too which makes for no ambiance. Not a spot to catch a game at either with one tiny TV at a very small bar space. However....food and service was great. The quality is slipping. The topping is not near the edge anymore. I don't know if they are trying to cut back on the toppings but you can see in the picture the topping isn't close to the edge. I ordered extra crisp on two large pizzas and one was black on the whole crust. I'll still try them because the food is better than most. read more

The food here is incredible. I've been to the restaurant multiple times and have loved it every single time. Today I was unable to leave my house to go out which I don't really go out that often nor do I order food in that often. I ordered my pizza and lasagna on DoorDash because they offered delivery- I called GH to ask them if they could do me a favor and tie the bag that the lasagna would come in closed and to just put a piece of tape over the lid of the pizza box so it can't be opened before the DoorDash driver picked it up. Instead of saying, yeah, no problem, the guy who answered the phone said "do you have a problem with your DoorDash drivers messing with your food?" and I said I've never had a problem, but I actually always call and just request that the bag either be tied closed or the box taped closed if I do order out. I honestly think it's a super easy thing to do and I don't think it's some crazy request. It literally takes one second to tie the bag closed and one second to slap a piece of tape on the pizza box. I got my order- the bag was open and the pizza box didn't have any tape on it. Now while that's not that big of a deal to most people, the state of the world that we are living in requires a little bit more due diligence. It was a simple request and I didn't think it was out of line to request that, but not only did I get a bad attitude and a passive aggressive response from the employee, but after saying he would make sure it was done... it wasn't done. read more

10/19/25 Ordered two spaghetti dishes one with meat sauce and meatballs the other with meat sauce. Worst meal for $46.00 I've ever spent! If you're gonna spend $46 on spaghetti at a restaurant it should be better than one can do on their own. Pasta should be al dente not mushy. Pasta should not be cold and watery! Meatballs were cold and made me think they were not fresh. Best thing was the garlic bread! We have spent a lot of money at gondola house the last two years and this might be the last! Really great take out experience here, and we loved our pizzas. The pick up was smooth and friendly. Caesar salad is tasty, but is very wilted. I think the dressing should be on the side for take out orders. The Lasagna pie and the Blanco are so good. We have ordered here a couple of times, and we will be back. read more

I think I've found my new neighborhood pizza joint! I personally try to support local restaurants whenever possible, so when I was looking for a pizza place nearby, I decided to give Gondola House a try. I ordered the lasagna pizza online with spaghetti and meatballs. The food was ready on time and everything looked great. We were a little late getting there so the pizza was room temperature but the time I made it home, but it was still very good. My boyfriend ate the spaghetti, and though the potion was very large he said it tasted like something he could've made at home. I suggest sticking with the pizza when you give this place a try! read more

Overall, I thought this place was pretty good! It feels like a pizzeria (not a fancy restaurant) and they have an easy location to get to off Lebanon Pike with their own parking lot. I got their Greek salad without cheese & it was better than average. But, I did really enjoy the meatball appetizer I got as my main; they had lots of flavor and the marinara sauce was just right! I would totally come back for this. We also shared the tiramisu, but it wasn't for me; very few ladyfingers and a lot of icing (/mascarpone) and not much coffee flavor. We'll have to try the pizza next time. They don't bring bread to your table, but the entrees come with a side of what looks like frozen Texas toast they put on the grill. A little weird, but okay. Hello everyone well we spent an awesome day at President Andrew Jackson's Hermitage in Hermitage, TN and at the end of the day we were pretty hungry. After some discussion with the locals we made our way to Gondola's House Pizzeria. Long story short both the service and the food were excellent. We had some Mozzarella Sticks to start and then we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the Shrimp Fettuccine. Both were cooked to perfection and the pasta sauce was very good as well. Parking should not be a problem at all as they have plenty available on site. Should be great for a family outing as there is something for everyone on the menu. Atmosphere was very laid back and the wry one was very friendly as well. Definitely will be coming back next time I am in the area for sure. Enjoy and Bon Appétit! read more

Enjoyed the White Pizza (Bianco),  Sicilian-baked Meatball sandwich, side salads with home-made house dressing on side, and with pint of Goose Island IPA draught (missing from menu). Kitchen is out front...you see everything being made. Friendly service. Simple Italian-American menu. They do the basics well and worthy of 4-5 stars. Private parking lot, easy-in and out. Beer and wine license only. Lunch menu available weekdays. Now closes a little later, 9 pm (later on Friday-Saturday). Daily specials offered. Ignore the ambiance...the food is good. If you are looking for a solid pizza place outside of Nashville this is the place! We had received a gift card, so we went all out. The drinks are very reasonably priced at about half the price if anything in Nashville. We started with a Caesar salad, and it was huge! Plenty to share. It had the perfect amount of dressing and they did not skimp on the cheese. The croutons were also the perfect amount of crunch. (Some places those baby's can break your teeth) We ordered two large pizzas: pepperoni and mushrooms and the lasagna pizza. Both were fabulous! The crust was light and crunchy and the sauce was robust. I can't believe more places don't have a lasagna pizza it makes so much sense! The lasagna pizza is a definite must! We waited about 20 minutes for a table on a busy Friday night so it wasn't bad! The lobby is pretty small so we were able to wait in the car until we were texted. Love that feature. read more

Epic Nashville pizza! Oooooo We (8 of us) did dinner here because of the great reviews. It's true, it's worthy! We started with fried ravioli and the artichoke dip. Both were different than I have seen elsewhere. The ravioli was about 3 inches in diameter with a nice marinara sauce. The artichoke dip was creamy. Both were great! Then the pizza - we had: The lasagna pizza - delicious! The greek pizza - also delicious! The build your own with - onions peppers spinach olives meatballs pizza - Yummo! The pizza was amazing and loaded with flavor and tons of toppings. The lasagna pizza has Italian sausage, ricotta, basil and garlic drizzled with EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)... omg! This pizza was delicious and hard not to keep eating even though I was beyond full. The meatballs were tasty too, but were a little too oily for me. My wife loved them and finished off. What can I say about a pizzeria that has EVERYTHING RIGHT??? I mean, the service is ALWAY top notch, polite, quick and smiling and the food is out of this world amazing. From the Side salad, to the cheese bread, to the pizza with the best tasting crust ever... I mean, hole in the wall = GOLD STAR + our patronage for many years to come!!! It was suggested by family we were in town visiting to eat here. We were told to first ask about the butterscotch bread pudding, which I don't like bread pudding. The food we ordered was really good. I thought they were close to Olive Garden with taste. I would certainly go back. It was nice that we all ordered something different, so we were able to try different things. Back to the bread pudding that we brought home. I ordered chocolate because butterscotch was out. I don't like chocolate either. We warmed up the bread pudding and let the sauce just fall down the sides....so warm and moist. The flavor of chocolate didn't overpower. Nice size too! We picked Gondola up for takeout a couple of nights ago, and it was a fine dinner but nothing that I'll crave or run back for again. We shared a pasta (meat lasagna), a pizza (Hawaiian), and a side Caesar salad. Everything tasted fine, pretty standard quality. Nothing stood out enough that I'd pick it over any other Italian American pizza/pasta spot, though. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and some garlic cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was the size of a small pizza. It was delicious! My only suggestion would be to cut the strips in half so it's easy to share. The pizza was also very tasty. There are two sizes of pizzas to choose from - small and large. We chose the large. The crust tasted like it had a brush of garlic flavor. The menu says that they use an imported Italian "0-0" flour to give the dough a unique flavor and crunch. They are right. It was very tasty. We went for dinner on a Sunday night around 6:00 and it was busy but not overly crowded and no wait for a table. I ordered a side salad and lasagna pizza. Both were delicious!
