Well to sum up this awesome yelp.... the realtor whose clients bought my house stated that house was left in great condition (I can't say my new house was left that way). When I first came into the house to meet them, they were already fast at work in the master bathroom ( I was late meeting them, but my favorite neighbor ran over and let them in). I thought ,maybe they might be standing around when I go in. Nope, they both were still hard at work and the house smelled of it. I specifically explained that my home was covered in drywall dust and that I wanted everything thoroughly wiped down, including the baseboards, blinds, and other surfaces. I couldn't have been clearer about what I expected. When the cleaning team arrived, they told me they were here for a standard deep cleaning. I asked, "Post-construction cleaning?" and they looked confused. I immediately called the office, and they confirmed that the appointment was indeed supposed to be for a post-construction cleaning. Unfortunately, it became clear the team either wasn't prepared for or didn't know how to perform that type of cleaning. After they finished the first room, the blinds were still dusty and the baseboards had not been wiped down. When I pointed out that the blinds and baseboards were still dusty, Erica became defensive instead of trying to resolve the issue. The conversation quickly turned into, "If you're not happy with the service, we'll leave." As the customer, I was simply asking them to complete the cleaning I had hired them to do. Instead of working to make it right, the team packed up their supplies and left. I was shocked by how the situation was handled. Mistakes happen, but customer service is what matters most. Rather than listening and resolving the issue, they chose to walk away. That level of professionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the franchise. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this Molly Maid in Antioch. I was able to capture one photo of the base of a table that had supposedly been cleaned. The Owner is Ms. Sonia was very friendly & professional. I was able to tell what my focus areas were and she came to do a Walk-through. Our home is around 2200 Sq. Ft. I belive. The initial cleaning is the most expensive (it depends on the size & such) but ours was around $700 then, for every 2 weeks we spend $180. The national average is ab $150-$200 I do pay cash & in my mind the $180 cash includes a tip. Mainly bc I do not ask about laundry or changing bed clothes. The Pros include: *supporting local business. *Many years of service * Timely & Professional *Will go by your list of focus areas. * Multiple people cleaning so, It goes faster. The only Con probably comes from me growing up with a housekeeper & my dad having his own cleaning business where the standards are Super High. If I'm paying I wasn't perfection & so far uts been 2 cleanings. After each one I see small things that were missed. Like dog slobber on the wall or hair on the couch.
