This is my first time hiring a cleaning team right before a big Christmas party! I have heard good things about Class Act for the past many years as it has been a long established family run business in the area. The office staff was pleasant and since family run, I felt better. They were busy during the holidays but fit me in to the time I wanted and accommodated my requests. The two women that came were nice and friendly. They did a better job than I could have and I appreciated it. They were efficient. Left them both a tip. Although I did it for the holidays, I am thinking this would be great on a regular basis bc it feels so good and I'm not overwhelmed with work! I wanted to update my review after some reflection and better services from another local housekeeping company. At first I was honestly worried I was being too demanding, what I wanted was a regular house keeping service, and I felt like their prices were fair ($100 / hr for two people). My property is very small (800 sq feet) so I was hoping that I could have someone clean my home for me, in 1-1.5 hours, every 3 weeks or so. Their move in cleaning service went well, maybe because it was an empty apartment, but I was disappointed with my regular services. There was a lot of attention to detail lacking. As I mentioned in my last review, the ladies cut corners and didn't do things like cleaning under furniture, moving light items to clean under it (eg: litter box, office chair, etc). I personally felt like they didn't take my property very seriously and wanted to get in and out ASAP. I have a cat and a dog and there was leftover clumps of fur that accumulated in corners that were never vacuumed up. I was hopeful, given how small my property was, that they COULD get in and out quickly, assuming they did a good service. I don't want to have to micro manage or check people's work, I expect it to be done and then they can just leave on their own, but that was sadly not the vibe or experience I got here. I did complain, and the employee was professional and resent the ladies back the same day, but it was just uncomfortable? Because the next time the ladies returned, they missed litter around the litter box again, but I just felt too awkward to complain a SECOND time. You would think if you had an hour to clean just 2-3 rooms, you would take your time and actually pay attention to details (eg: baseboards and such) but they rushed through and wanted to gtfo! I switched to a different cleaning service, have been having regular services with them since October ish, and I'm really happy! I don't feel like my new housekeeper rushes, which is weird because I pay them by the job and not by the hour, so you'd think it's the other way around, and I'm left with the quality of service I want every time. My floors are clean, there isn't dust or fur accumulated, she even cleans UNDER MY BED! without being asked or having to double check their work! Just to be clear, I think there's a lot to love about this company. They accept credit cards, their scheduling team is attentive and has great communication, and their prices are fair. I guess you just get what you paid for low key? Edit to add: I'm not changing the review but someone by the name of "My V" messaged me after I updated my review (went from four to three stars). Not all cleaners speak English which makes it difficult to communicate info upon arrival 6. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I called last week after moving out of my condo, and spoke to a woman who gave me a quote. While we were speaking, it appears everything that I was asking her for was going to be "extra". The place is small. About 1400 square feet. Imagine my surprise when she contacted me and told me they spent three hours and 45 minutes (a crew of 2) cleaning it. I posted a couple of videos and one picture which continue to shock me. When I contacted her and asked her what happened she asked that I send her the video which I did. She said she was going to speak to her boss who ended up giving me a 10% refund. I made contact, via Yelp, with Class Act House Cleaning, after realizing that I failed to make a "move-in" cleaning appointment, for a rental property, with my regular crew. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and the owner, Traci is very polite, helpful, and accomodating. She was able to meet my immediate needs very well and pricing was in-line with what I am accustomed to paying for a home with 1700+sq ft. (Total came to $272 + I tipped the ladies upon completion of job) I must point out that interior window cleaning is considered an add-on service, with Class Act (this service is included with my regular crew's move-in cleanup) and after close inspection, of the home, I realized that 2 walls in the kitchen were not cleaned at all, hence -2 stars.
