After years of hard water use and not enough deep cleaning my house started looking awful with calcium buildup and mold creeping in. Especially in the showers and kitchen sink. I decided to use a cleaning service for the first time. I spoke to Edgar who went over services and answered all my questions and concerns. The day of service two ladies came out. They started upstairs and worked their way down. They worked so hard on my full house deep clean spending over 5hrs. They checked in with me throughout to make sure it was okay after they finished each section. My showers and sinks won't look as good as the day we got them but it's as close as it'll get. They did a wonderful job cleaning areas in the house Ive never cleaned lol. I hired this company in January 2022 to clean my niece and nephew's home as a gift, as they were going thru a rough time. My nephew said they were thrilled with the job done, and because it was a gift, they wanted to take care of the tip, and would overtip because they were so happy, which I'm sure they did. They had evidently went above and beyond, and we were all thrilled. When the cleaning crew arrived, the owner called me and said it was a big job, that it needed deep cleaning, but because I had paid for basic, they would do the best they could with basic, which I appreciated. He emphasized that it was 3 people and they would be there for 3 hours. I was originally quoted $250 and I paid $250. I didn't want to upgrade the service because it was a gift and I had my price limit. Fast forward to now, March 2022. Since they did such a good job, I have been trying to hire them to do my own home. I have emailed, called and left several voice messages, and texted several times over the past week without the courtesy of a reply. I have no idea why they are not responding to me. Requested a move out cleaning service. I received a response almost immediately and was able to schedule service the same week. They reviewed our house before and let us know the cost and how long the service would take. I was sent an invoice with the list of services requested. I was able to pay it easily online. The service took all day to complete and we received pictures after everything was done. Being that I used to clean houses myself I have to say I'm thoroughly Impressed with Edgar and his team for multiple reasons. I received immediate response to my request for a quote online. I was in a bind and requesting service within 3 days and was told he would check and get back to me within the hour. He called not a minute later to the hour with an estimate appt and was able to move his crews around to make it happen next day! The team paid great attention to detail all the while smiling. They give an extra boost with the way they fold towels and make flowers out of Kleenex and toilet paper for an added touch. Especially happy for no streaks on mirrors or floors! I initially called and asked how much they charge for a move-in cleaning. They shared $375 to $475 based on the sqft and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. I knew my rental was in bad shape and I wanted JE to see what they would be dealing with. I called again and I asked if they can send someone out and give me a proper estimate. I'm glad I did. Edgar came out and told us that although the house was completely empty, everything (especially the floors) needed to be hand-scrubbed. We specified that we wanted the walls cleaned as well and for this service to be incorporated into the estimate. Edgar warned that their products might strip the wall paint, but we told him that we were okay with that risk and we wanted to move forward with this add-on service. He ended up quoting us $1,045 for deep cleaning including window cleaning and basic garage cleanup. We ended up agreeing to the $695 deep cleaning (minus the windows and garage). This included the bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, 1 appliance (the refrigerator - my other appliances were replaced so no cleaning was needed), floors, and walls (as we frequently mentioned to him). No garage and windows. The cleaning crew (made up of 3 women) came on 10/26/22 at around 8:30 am. We were warned earlier by Edgar that this would probably take a full day and they would be done by 4 or 5 pm. The crew ended up staying for 10 full hours. CONS: - Nothing was scrubbed as promised by Edgar. The crew ended up mopping the floors in less than 10 minutes. They claimed this was because they ran out of time. When Edgar came to see the property initially, he told me that it was possible for us to find some other cleaning service company that would clean the house for $200 to $300 for an ok job. He was charging me more because his team was going to "hand-scrub" everything. That didn't happen. So, basically I would have gotten the same job done but for about $400 less. - Again, the property was completely empty and they were cleaning only 1 appliance. Garage and windows not included. It took 10 hours for them to clean 1 empty appliance, empty kitchen + cabinets, 2 empty bathrooms, and 4 empty bedrooms. Edgar and his crew blamed it on us. They said it took them too long because we made them clean the walls. Again, we told Edgar we wanted the walls clean. This was not something that was unexpected. - We still ended up cleaning the floors and walls on our own the next day. Nothing was scrubbed as promised. - Edgar promised the best anti-bacterial cleaning supplies. The crew basically only used Fabuloso cleaner. From the way Edgar kept reminding us about the anti-bacterial products they use, I was under the assumption it was some high-end, expensive product. - The team spent more time chatting with each other, talking on the phone, or simply using their phones. I think this is why it took 10 hours, not because they were doing a good clean up job because the house was in bad shape. - An entire bathroom was missed. The sink was cleaned and that was pretty much it. I mentioned this to Edgar and he did ask if I wanted another team to come and complete the bathroom. I said yes. He hasn't reached back to me or scheduled a team to come down and finish the bathroom. PROS: - The house is cleaner, but not clean. I wish I just went for the cheaper companies like Edgar mentioned because I would have gotten the same quality job but for so much less. Not worth $695, especially not $1,045 for windows and garage included. - The cleaning crew were nice people. We brought them Clorox wipes to speed things up and because it cleans better than Fabuloso. They did it and they expressed how it was much faster this way. However, I think Edgar took offense to this. I just can't understand how an empty, trash-free house with no furniture or carpet took 10 hours. Again, the walls are not to blame. They charged me $150 extra because it took longer than expected. However, once I mentioned to Edgar that he cannot blame the walls because we frequently mentioned we wanted the walls clean, he brought it back to the $695. Simply, if you want your house CLEANER, call them. If you want your house CLEAN, find somebody else. read more

I need a move out deep cleaning for my rental house, I requested a online quote, but have many questions about the scope of work. Mr. Edger patiently listened and explained to me what was covered in details and what was not, so I ordered the move out cleaning+oven+glass+carpet cleaning. First day was house cleaning, the crew arrived on time, working room by room from upstairs to downstairs, they clean almost everything, when I pointed out some area they missed or cleaner residue was unwiped, they immediately redo without any questions, the first day was end in a very clean condition. Second day was carpet cleaning, within an hour, they finished the job, the guy is thoughtful to open all the upstairs windows after cleaning, so I don't have to step on the wet carpet to go upstairs. Overall, I am very satisfied with Je House Cleaning, Mr. Edger communicated well, he called before and follow up after work done. Je House Cleaning is worth every penny! What impressed me the most about them is their level of customer service. Not only was Edgar very friendly and professional during the home estimate, the girls were also very polite and made sure they did their job thoroughly on the day of the cleaning. Since cleaning is a manual job, it is common that some minor spots will be missed even though cleaning itself was not rushed. As soon the girls left, I got a phone call to ask about the cleaning and I had mentioned a few minor things that may have been overlooked but told him it was fine. What sold it for me was the fact that they came back to take care of those minor things to make sure I was 100% satisfied. He also told me that he will note it on my file to make sure it won't happen again. Talk about customer service! So it was a no brainer for me to book their service on a regular basis.
