I scheduled a deep clean, with carpet clean (steam clean). I was quoted $400 for the deep clean and $450 for the carpets for an approx 1,500sq/ft home. They arrived on time, and overall the house was clean upon completion. The carpets were cleaned with a potent cleaner that myself and my dogs are having difficulty (so not just a steam clean). Upon checking house cameras everyone wore sneakers and work boots within the home (we are a no shoe household). They were seen standing on top of the white couch in work boots. The carpet cleaners turned the cameras to face the wall so they were not visible (upon talking with maidly, they said this had to be done bc they didn't want to get the camera wet when cleaning the floor. It does not make sense, bc the camera (and Google home device next to it that was not touched) was not moved, but turned around from behind to face the wall. They also did not clean the carpet in one of the bedrooms. Bad experience, my house smells like the bathroom at a gas station, not trust worthy, attempts to gas light in response to bringing this to their attention. Find another company that is respectful of your home, devices, and honest. The door of my house was left unlocked and one was left cracked open after they left. read more

The two assistants were right on time and didn't waste a minute. They completed a full house deep cleaning in under three hours, including the oven which really needed it. An incident happened where a mirror fell right after the cleaning crew left. I understand accidents happen which is fine but the Manager/company did not do anything to take care of the broken mirror or scratched hardwood floor. Moreover, my toddler was involved but noone from the company has called to check to see how she is doing. I realize after this accident, the company does not care to build relationships with their customers. If they did, they would remedy the situation. I recommend going elsewhere for cleaning services as if an accident happens, they will not take care of the situation. To note, I wrote my initial review because Mary was responsive initially and informed me the cleaning crew gets compensated for reviews. Also, Maidly was acquired so the company is owned by CCPros DBA Essential Service/Bay Area Cleaning Pro. To conclude, the cleaning crew was always kind and did a great job cleaning. Even though places were missed - if I asked them to clean a missed area, they were always happy to do so. We used Maidly as we moved to a new home. Got keys to the house on a Thursday and had Maidly do a deep clean on Friday, so it was perfect to move in our furniture on Monday. Updating my review to 4 stars. Last time when I gave them 3 stars, they called me see what can be done to resolve cons. They have been doing a much better job. The main difference was identified the crew that was under performing, unfortunate they sent the under performing crew the next time after my last review. I called in immediately to the person that called me to fix things and she said they will never send that crew again. Since then they have sent a new crew, and the same crew the a few time. This was the real solution, getting the right crew. They start to lean the house and how you like it cleaned. They never did read the instructions I emailed to put on my file. I ask every time, and they all say no. That solution didn't work, getting the same crew works. Why not 5 stars? Well I had to go through a lot to get a quality crew that comes each time. I had to weed out the bad crew. I wish they would read the instructions on the account so I don't have to do a mini tour each time. Also they still do not know how to make the primary bed properly. My comforter is white and not too fluffy so they may think it a blanket and tuck it in with everything else. I'm waiting for the day that do not tuck in the comforter. The good news is, since I'm starting to see the same crew comes back each time, I can let them know and moving forward it should be good. read more

The cleaners did a good job, but I don't appreciate the dishonesty when it came to the pricing, so beware. Philip e-mailed me a quote for the prices of a move in deep cleaning empty 750 sq. ft 1 bedroom apartment. The quote included the hourly rate per cleaner on top of a separate minimum rate for steaming my living room carpet. Luckily I saved that email. The two cleaners arrived around 9:35am and I was there to of course open the door for them. Philip called me at around 9:50am stating that the cleaners arrived at 8:30am, in which I said, uh no they didn't. I then didn't trust him to tell me when the cleaners would leave so I waited in my car to see when they left. It didn't take long for them to deep clean the apartment because it is a move in cleaning so there is NO furniture, nothing in the apartment, except hung clothes in the closet. Philip then proceeds to call me at 1:15pm stating that the cleaners are "just wrapping up and will be leaving soon" when in reality, I was already back in my finished apartment at 12:30pm. They were NOT in there that long to clean and mind you this charge is an hourly rate. Philip then told me he will call me back to let me know the total cost of the cleaning. I was disappointed that he never called me back. Instead, I see a charge on my card the next day of $505 for a move in deep cleaning of a 750 sq foot empty 1 bedroom apartment. He charged me 4 HOURS of cleaning when in reality it was 2 HOURS of cleaning. DO NOT TRUST their timing especially when it is charged at the hourly rate. Be present so you don't get scammed of your hard working money. I will not be moving forward with them for standard monthly cleanings. Plenty of other options to choose from. UPDATE: Melanie was able to refund the $505 and then charge me the appropriate amount of the service. The issue was resolved within a day which I appreciate. Thank you. read more

We needed a cleaning service for moving out of our rental and Maidly customer service was fast, friendly and helpful over the phone. I was able to book an appointment with only a few days' notice. The two-person cleaning crew arrived promptly. I showed them around the house and they gave me a five-hour estimate for the job, similar to what the customer service rep estimated over the phone. I left to run some errands and came back 15 minutes before the estimated completion time. I found them hard at work, mopping the floors. They finished up 10 minutes later and asked me to do a walk-through review of their work. I was very impressed. The place was immaculate, including the air vents in the bathroom, which were previously dusty. They even cleaned all the drawers and the inside and outside of our appliances.
