This is my second review of Mann Eye in the past 90 days. I made an appointment to see my cataract…read moresurgeon, but my appointment ended with an optometrist instead of the doctor I'd made the appointment with. The point of my visit was to discuss the floater I'd been bothered with recently. Nothing was resolved, however, notes were made on my chart so that if I wanted to follow up, the notes would be there. Several weeks ago, I did call back and say I wanted to follow up about the floaters. I was told I needed to see Dr. Andreas Gonzalez. Today I had an appointment with Dr. Andreas Gonzalez. I waited 35 minutes before seeing a technician who did testing (the recent eye appointment was a comprehensive one so testing was a repeat) and dilated my eyes. Finally, an hour and a half later (after watching the same video three times), I saw the doctor. He examined my eyes briefly and then continued with the technician's discussion of macular degeneration. After explaining a treatment they are offering, I said I'd like to do more research before considering. Dr. Gonzales then said to follow up in a year. When I realized he was dismissing me without having addressed the reason for my visit, I was stunned. Once I mentioned it, he gave me some information, but I realized that one of the procedures I was hoping to discuss, he doesn't even do! Not only is Dr. Gonzales condescending, he is also unprepared--doesn't come to an appointment ready to discuss why the patient is there! He seemed way more interested in "selling" me a treatment. Unconscionable is the only word I can find to describe the wasted two and a half hours I spent today.

Dominick even changed his schedule to accommodate our schedule to help us out, which really appreciated. There were also a couple of punch list items that they completed in addition to a smaller fix that he included in the price. I gotta say, I'm a little blown away by the lack of integrity on display from this service…read moreprovider. It took weeks to get an appt scheduled after the winter storm, they missed the original scheduled appointment, due to calling me at 6:58 the evening they were supposed to arrive and left a voicemail that it would need to be re-scheduled. They were scheduled to arrive between 4-7p... Called back 30 seconds later, no answer.. I go on with my day. Apparently they arrive sometime between 8p-9p and tried to get ahold of me, but missed that contact as I was busy at that time, expecting them to call the next morning to re-schedule, as my voicemail requested. Get ahold of them the next morning, and am blamed for not having picked up the phone or allowed them into my house at 9p... Should have been the first sign, but I kept my cool, and politely asked them to schedule the appointment for the day after I returned from being out of town a week. So we're three weeks now without hot water. So they finally arrive that Thursday, check it out and put in the service request with my home warranty company. The price continued to climb as we went back and forth and eventually agreed on the work to be completed. Whatever, I just want hot water. Another week passes before they arrive to install the new water heater. Two workers arrive, one a supervisor apparently, and get started. They chop the plumbing and begin to remove the original water heater, when the realize it won't fit out the door. Most people would get out a sawzall and cut it up and remove it.. This wasn't an issue, except for the fact that they didnt seem to want to remove it, and the new water heater wouldnt fit in the door... Measurements count yall, measure twice, think thrice and cut once. So I go from $1000 out of pocket to 4300 for a tankless they can fit through the door easily. No word still of removing the old unit, and I threw a fit given the delays and now 400% cost increase? I would have bought the tankless in the first place had they offered that as an option, but that wasnt till after the fact. They did knock down the price, but I can't get them to actually set an appointment now to come back and install the thing, because of some issue with them taking payment? I've now called two days in a row and been told by Rose who forgets who I am now every call, that a supervisor would be in touch, haven't heard a word in 24 hours. Further, they just left the water heater disconnected, completely in the way of the hvac, they were told I was having serviced the following day and plumbing crap all over the floor. I will say the supervisor was initially helpful in trying to get the situation resolved, he did get the tankless discounted but has since disappeared, Still waiting on that call back though, with nothing but cold water still basically a month later. I'm a patient person, but now that I know I can cash out the money on my home warranty and find another plumber, it appears I may have to. Trying to be reasonable with these people, and would love to get this resolved, but time will tell whether it will be SAP completing the work at this point or someone else.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Roadrunner…read moreRestoration (RR) was recommended by my insurance company to handle water damage remediation and repair. I can confidently say this has been one of the worst contractor experiences of my life. From fraudulent billing practices and unacceptably poor workmanship, to excessive delays and sloppy outsourced labor (who left my home a mess), the problems never stopped. Months after the project ended, RR even had the nerve to call asking for more money--despite failing to correct the original problem. In fact, they caused more damage than they fixed. It's been nearly two years, and I'm still paying out of pocket for electricians, contractors, and specialists to correct the costly mistakes and damage RR left behind. Perhaps most disturbing is what feels like a coordinated scam between RR, the insurance company, and an asbestos company they brought in. After years of renovations with many reputable contractors, I've never once been told I had asbestos--until RR showed up. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a recurring tactic. What a grift. This company is engaging in deceptive trade practices, and they should be held accountable--not just for the shoddy work, but for the stress and financial burden they've caused. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and plan to post this review on every platform possible. Avoid Roadrunner Restoration at all costs. Save yourself the money, time, and massive headache I've endured. This company is the WORST!
