I just moved to the area and am on the hunt for a solid groomer. I did research ahead of time and reviewed this company's website which states, "we welcome new customers" and to "contact them for a quote." Additionally, their Yelp profile notates they are only accepting dogs 20lbs and under at the moment, which is the category my dog falls into. So I call, and halfway into my sentence the grouchy lady on the other line cuts me off, talks over me and says they're not accepting new clients. The fact that they don't have more room wasn't upsetting (even though they should update their website/Yelp listing as to not waste anyone's time), it was the lack of professionalism and rudeness that was unwarranted. read more

I would have gave 0 if I could. Everytime I picked up my toy poodle, her paws were bleeding. Not once, not twice, it was multiple times. I just wanted to give Linsey another chance. She is just rude beyond anyone expectations. I don't even know why she still has a job there. Everytime I told her that my puppy is bleeding she would put a powder to stop the bleeding. But I don't understand why she wouldn't make sure it doesn't happen again. Awful work. She only cares about her collection and nothing else. Beyond Awful. This business needs to latterly close down. The grooming salon I went to for the past 2 years completely butchered my senior dogs haircut the last time he went there, and I had to find a new groomer. Jessica came to the rescue! I have a Maltipoo and a bichon poodle . I asked for my dogs to be cut short but not shaved to the skin. The lady who did them cut shaved them and cut maltipoo so close to the skin around her eyes she has two cuts that are bleeding. read more

With all the hype I was pretty excited to have my dog groomed at Estrella. But, honestly I was not super impressed as I have seen better grooming. My dog did come home with a few minor cuts/nicks and her muzzle was so closely trimmed that is scabbed up. This bothered me and I did mention this to the groomer but, it happened several times thereafter. I also noticed some sloppy trimming as if they were in a hurry. Very expensive. I think there are salons that are just as good but, without all the hair dyeing, TV show appearances...and that works for me. I just want my dog's hair cut and cared for. read more

For 3 years I've been searching for a dog groomer who understands their way around a Portuguese Water Dog... and for 3 years every time I come home with a demented poodle. We are not show people, we just want our dog to look like his breed.
