Very pleased with our pups groom. They did a wonderful job. We use to go to another groomer that would keep him all day (8hours) and He usually gets a seizure after a long day of grooming. But Now, since after his visit at seashore spa No seizures. The patients and care is exactly what our little guy needed. Love the set time grooming sessions.

After trying one other groomer and my Daisy looked only ok, I gave Seashore a try. She was only 5 months old and 2 other people recommended Seashore. Yuri was able to fit Daisy into her schedule. When we arrived for the appointment, Yuri took a look at Daisy(Havenese/Shih Tzu) and recommended what she wanted to do for her. I leave her grooming to the professionals. She looked so happy and beautiful when I arrived to pick her up 1 1/2 hours later. Yuri proceeds to tell me that it looked like one of Daisy's ears looked red and may be an infection. That same day I took Daisy to her Vet and sure enough, she had an ear infection. If Yuri didn't catch it, I don't know if I would have caught it myself. Her prices are reasonable and she is professional. Thank you Seashore Pet Grooming.

By far, the best groomer in the area! I'm so happy to have found this place to take my dogs too. The shop is calm and quiet, perfect for my anxious dog. I love the fact they don't keep the dogs in kennels and they have a little waiting area for them. They are very professional, always remembering what cut they did last time, and asks if there's anything you want to change or add on. I would highly recommend Seashore!

I was so thrilled to find Seashore. My dog was in a panic each time we would take him for grooming. The noise and activity at many grooming establishments was scaring him. Seashore is quiet and peaceful and he's in and out within a couple of hours. Extremely happy with the service we have received. read more

The grooming quality is good, but the price increases have become too much. What used to cost $120 now costs $143 with tip $180 and they said there's going to be another 5% increase. Unfortunately, the service no longer feels worth the price, and we will be taking our dogs elsewhere. read more

Amazing service here! My little havanese doesn't like to get her nails trimmed and as I do her grooming myself, I bring her to Seashore for her nail trimming. Yuri and business partner are so quick and take such good care of my dog, always trying to comfort her while they hold her and trim her nails. Very skilled, have never made her bleed or cut the nail too short. Very responsive and willing to fit me in as well. Thank you Seashore! read more

We were looking for a place to take our new dog for a bath. He reeked. Our old go-to places were booked so my husband looked on YELP and called Seashore Pet Spa and Grooming. They were able to take our stinky dog. The spa is clean and Yuri was very welcoming. Love their notification system, letting us know our dog would be ready at a specific time. When we arrived, we could see our pup following Yuri around in the back room. He was wagging his tail and so so excited. Yuri was awesome with him. Best part- the dog smells great. His fur is soft and shiny. The spa is an amazing transformation place. It is clean. Employees are friendly and obviously like animals. My dog felt very calm there. Note: New clients need to show proof of current rabies vaccination I am new to the area and was looking for a groomer. My dog is a highly anxious rescue and a senior. I prefer and have used mobile grooming in the past but have been having a hard time finding a reputable one who is taking on new clients and/or not obscenely expensive. I stumbled upon Seashore Pet Spa from the Nextdoor app when a few locals mentioned their love for the company after someone asked for a groomer recommendation. Well, they were right! What I also particularly appreciate about this groomer is that the owner/Yuri works on one dog at a time and does not kennel! When my dog was ready an hour and a half after drop off he was just chilling in the front gated waiting area by a large floor window when I arrived. It's the perfect setting to keep him calm and occupied as he observes his surroundings. This place is A+ and his cut turned out wonderful as well! I have officially found my new go-to place! P.S. The shop is located in the "Old Town" plaza. Parking is tight but right in front of the business is a "15 min" spot, making it convenient for a quick pick up/drop off. read more

I have been going to Seashore pet groomer since they opened. I have tried different groomers but Seashore Pet Spa is the best. My dog is treated like a princess. There was no overbooking. I took my dog ( a 20lbs Terrier mix) in and within an hour, she is fresh, clean and beautiful. The place is always clean, no dog odor, like some other grooming place do. If you are looking for a professional groomer, Seashore Pet Spa is the place. read more

A small shop but excellent one on one service. I was really dissatisfied and disappointed with my last groomer, so that prompted me on a hunt for a new location for my fur babies. I came across this shop on Yelp- had excellent reviews. it was quite a distance for me but I was willing to give it a try. First impression- shop was small clean and cute. I filled out paperwork, then reviewed the shops rules- which I appreciated, since sometimes this is an important detail that should be reviewed. The owner and I discussed type of cut, my fur babies temperament and confirmed he would be done in 1hr and 30 min. You have 15-20 mins to pick up your dog. The reason for this is they do not kennel your dog, so it has freedom to roam. I was super pleased with his cut, and the shampoo they use is very refreshing and smells great. I took him to Dana point Harbor for a walk the next day and had tons of compliments. I definitely will bring him back, I can see they really showed attention to detail, and really cared for your dog. I find that most grooming places have a feeling of turning and burning, I understand that this is how you make money, but I did not feel that way at all. read more

I love this groomer. They treat my dog so well and are always so friendly. They ask exactly what I would like and they always tell me any health concerns they see. Prices are also reasonable. One of my favorite things is they don't keep your dog in a cage and it doesn't take hours to complete the grooming. read more

I used to go to Petco for my grooming, but they are not very personable and always seem rushed. I am so glad I tried out this place and I am happy to say this is our new groomer!! They are very friendly and have great customer service. They were able to get my Pup Face in on short notice and quickly groom him. He was so happy when I went to pick him up, he had a great time. I LOVE that they don't crate, or cage your pets. They have a nice little gated area with a water fountain and bed. read more

I just tried Seashore Pet Spa out for the first time today and I'm so happy with my dogs cut. I've groomed my dog myself in the past and even though it takes a long time, it's pretty easy to give her an even cut all the way around. Too many groomers have done just an OK job in the past, but Seashore was great. Summa was my dogs groomer and had her in and out in 1.5 hours. I love that they don't keep dogs all day or leave them in crates. Staff is very nice; I'll definitely come again when I'm in the area! read more

We found Seashore Pet Spa on the Internet after researching many different groomers in the San Clemente Area. Key things we liked: Requested vaccination records Practiced proper safety precautions (Covid) Asked detailed questions for haircut preferences Spa configuration was organized with a gated area (no crates or sharing space with other dogs) Reserved parking space for drop off and pickup The meticulously styled haircuts were the best that our 6 year old boys have ever had Communication was via text 20 minutes prior to pet pickup The most important was my boys were very relaxed when we picked them up which speaks to the groomers kindness and caring nature toward our boys Thank you, Yuri and team! read more

This place is amazing !!! I can get an appointment in a day or two. The owner is excellent with my pet, Yuri takes her time and has a very pleasant approach. My dog likes going to get groomed at Seashore Pet Spa and Grooming unlike other places, we have been to before where there are plenty of dogs in crates. The end result, when I pick up my pet, she seems stress free and looking clean. This place is a little gem in San Clemente. read more

The last visit we never receive a call that our dog "COWBOY" was done. Typically he takes two hours but after two and a hlf hours I started to call but my call went to voice mail. Not having a problem in the past I let it ride for another hour and then decided to visit the shop to see what was up. By the time I arrived he was done and the heavy set girl at the counter asked if I would like to leave a tip and I asked for what he had been there for four hours at that point and when he came out it was obvious that he was in distress not having to go potty the entire time he was there. I chalked that the issue was related to the person I was dealing with and her complete lack of social skills. Our appointment was today at 10:00 AM, we were held up by morning traffic and when we arrive I took him for a short walk to relieve himself. When we walk in I was not met with a greeting but was asked if this was COWBOY and I acknowledged that he was. I have been coming here for years and have spent 1,000's of dollars here and now I have to be explained what the rules are even though I have never had any type of problem in the past. I guess that there is a new sheriff in town and I need to learn my place. I do not know who owns this place but want to make it clear that I am certainly not going to be abused by a dog groomer receptionis. you can look up my account to see who I am and my promise is that I will not spend another nickel at Zuri as long as this individual works there. Authority is a privilege and should not be given to individuals that are not responsible or mature enough to understand how it is to be used. In this case this person feels she is entitled to chase customers away. If you feel that is the proper way to use it I do not think that you will be in business much longer. Remember dog groomers are paid for with discretion art funds and in the case of a bad economy or poor service dry up pretty fast. Do yourself a favor and eliminate this problem as soon as you can. I would give my rating a minus number if I could.

All staff we've ever come into contact with have been INCREDIBLY nice. The building and waiting area is also very clean and nice. I've noticed at other groomers that there tends to be quite a bit of a smell, but have never noticed that here. They are super fast - both times took less than 90 minutes, but I never feel like they cut corners. He always gets a deshed and it's always done beautifully. Pricing Concerns: They now charge $150 a night for our two dogs, we bring food, treats and they sleep together in a kennel. On top of that, they are requiring a $300 deposit for reservations. This feels excessive, especially considering we've never been a no-show in all our years of patronage. Customer Service Issues: The heart of our disappointment lies in the customer service. It seems like the focus has shifted from caring for pets to simply making money. We've experienced a lack of communication, especially when it comes to receiving updates or photos of our dogs while we're away. We've left them for weeks at a time during our trips to Europe, and despite their promises, we rarely receive any pictures. Corporate Feel: Pet Suites feels more like a corporation than a caring establishment. You and your pets seem to be just another number in their system. While we appreciate the care our dogs have received in the past, this new direction is concerning. We hope they can return to their roots of genuine customer care and attention to the animals, but at this point we will not be coming back.
