Granted, I've only seen two other locations, but Sharmeen was very meticulous and thorough the entire time. She even uses a dental mouth mirror (is there a more appropriate term for this?) and an airbrush gun to make sure your lashes look good. I saw this place near HEB and noticed a lot of grand opening signage with some great discounts, like $5 for eyebrow threading instead of the usual $10 price. When I walked in, the place was empty and they were able to assist me right away. It is a very bare-bones type of place. Clean, but a little worn feeling -- doesn't really feel like it is a brand new space. I didn't know what I wanted really -- just wanted some better shape to my brows, and they quickly sold me on the threading/lami/tint package for $60. Within moments, I am getting threaded (minimally uncomfortable -- maybe a bit more discomfort than waxing), then some perm-like chemicals are applied to my brows while I wait (they advised I would feel some stinging), then the tint, which took the least amount of time. I will say, I was nervous about how all of this would look. While waiting, the friendly technician chatted with me and explained that this was the third of a chain of brow studios they owned in the Austin area, dating back several years. When everything was complete, I have to admit, my eyebrows looked way more defined than ever before. They sent me home with a spooly and some styling wax. I was a bit conscious that maybe they were too noticeable on account of the darker tint. But actually, I have settled into them now and I think I would absolutely get this done again. I'm happy with this service and would love to come back and try the facials and other services that they offer here.

I ended up with scabs....The brow place is also tricky to find. The address on there is not very accurate. It puts you in the wrong side of the street when you use Google maps. The actual place is next to beauty supply, cricket, and game stop in the shopping complex next to Walmart. There is also no signage above the store. The only sign I saw was a banner hanging at the exit of the shopping complex. The phone number on this Yelp and their fb page seems inaccurate. I accidentally left my keys there and when I called to double check the people were very confused. They said I had the wrong location and had no idea what I was talking about. I went out of my way to go here and give it a shot. Unfortunately it was just not a good experience.
