In each session, she asked me how my skin had been acting, what kinds of activities I had been engaging in (good and bad, i.e., smoking), and created a personalized session for that appointment. She also educated me about the crappy face supplies that I had been using (without making me feel stupid) and got me started on an organic, gentle line of skin care that has done wonders for me. My face literally was glowing after every session. She is also EXCELLENT at waxing; my eyebrows look awesome. OH! And at about 5' 2", she totally adorable and not intimidating at all.

Yelpers have never done me wrong, so I called to book right away. My call was returned promptly and we discussed my wants/needs/options. I have never received a facial before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Orange Blossom does custom facials so Elizabeth said to come on in and we'd decide what was best. The location is in a little office park, but feels like a little old house inside. there are a couple of rooms and it is very peaceful. Elizabeth is as cute as a button, was very friendly, and instantly put me at ease. Once I wrapped up in a velvetly robe and tucked myself into the softest bed/table ever, she got to work. She decided on a deep cleanse, but did all sorts of stuff. We spoke briefly about my skin care routine and other than answer any questions I had (she was very patient, I had many, and was pretty nosy about the whole expereince), it was very relaxing. Whatever she did with paprika felt amazing, and I liked the mud mask and the facial massage. Ok, so I liked it all! I'd asked about a specific product and she introduced me to it at the end fo the session. It wasn't sale-sy at all (in fact, i'm wondering if or how she sells any product if the customer doesn't take the initative) and I got a great under eye product from Colorscience. Definitely a brand I'll look into since she gave me a sample of the Primer to try - which I did this morning - and love it! So my skin looks and feels fabulous. My pores are invisible and my face is seriously soft! This is definitely something I am going to have to save up for and do again!

She left a phone number to call that was different from the one online that routed me to the call center and I was so relieved. However, when I called the number she provided back, I was AGAIN routed to the call center. They put me on hold and reached out to Rachel, then came back and said that she was unavailable (this was about 20 minutes after she'd left the voicemail). I'll give her some credit, as she attempted to return my call again but I was in another meeting at the time, since she was calling during regular business hours. She then sent me an email requesting a time for us to hop on a call. I replied (again within about 20 minutes) that I would be available for the rest of the afternoon. She did not call again, nor did she respond to my email or attempt to call back the following day. I've also developed a pretty bad case of folliculitis on my bikini line over the past couple of days, which I haven't experienced in years (the last case being within the first 6 or so months of starting to wax). I consistently have my legs waxed every 4-5 weeks, practice proper hygiene, and follow the post-wax guidance to avoid these break outs. I followed up on our email chain again this morning to update Rachel on this development and provided my availability for a call (between 10am-2pm). At noon, I heard my phone ringing from the room over and by the time I ran to it, I'd missed the call (I'm not even sure that it rang through all the way). I called back WITHIN THE MINUTE and was again directed to the call center, who put me on hold and came back to say that Rachel was unavailable. She had literally just called me, so that didn't make much sense. I then followed up on my email again letting her know what happened and confirming my availability. She did not call back, nor has she responded to ANY of my emails. If I'd been able to quickly get in touch with the location on Monday, I would have given this location another try. But this poor customer experience and inability to get in touch with the team has left such a bad taste in my mouth. Between needing to get my entire legs re-waxed, the folliculitis outbreak, and this half-assed game of phone tag disguised as customer service, I would like a full refund. If this location really cared about their customers, they'd make it easier to get in touch with them.

She moved quickly and was always gracious whenever I had to sneeze. Yep. You're gonna sneeze, too. Y'all. I feel like a person again…read more My eyebrows were never destined for greatness before Heather. When I was 3, I was bit in the eye by a Dalmatian. As a result, I have slightly less tissue under my right eyebrow than my left. Combined with a roller skating accident that removed the top of my arch when I was 12, and my right eyebrow has always been sort of a rebel. It has frustrated aestheticians, make up artists, and brow threaders my entire life. If you look in the photos, I even marked where almost no eyebrow exists naturally. Heather fixed it all, and I didn't even feel it. After two sessions, I now leave the house without worrying about anything more than some eyebrow gel. Tweezing my eyebrows is 100x easier because I have a clear definition of what should be plucked. And the shape is so much more even. When I told Heather I wanted a bit stronger brow than average, she delivered it perfectly. The best part is no one can tell that I've had anything permanent done. When I mention it, they look confused, then closely look at my eyebrows in amazement. If you aren't familiar with microblading, it is semi-permanent strokes added into your natural brow to fill and correct shape and density. With Heather, I didn't feel a thing because she goes above and beyond to find topical products that work. And while the initial price tag might make you balk, it's the best deal you'll find in Austin and, IMO, the best person you'll find to do them. It really is an investment that pays off in time, confidence, and (if you used to churn through brow products), serious savings. I can't recommend the process or Heather enough. Book with her now before her waiting list has you pining over brows for years.
