The guest with the garlic/onion dietary request, asked what cheese comes on the nachos. She was told shredded and it's melted. So when her nachos came out it had mashed potato garlic cheese! She asked to have them remade. Which the server kindly did, her reorder came with a little melted cheese (you know when it's over heated and not cheese anymore) with sour cream squirted lines. Their cheese burgers are cooked medium well and served on a sesame seed bun with velveeta cheese. So simple, yet so good! If you want "everything" it's ketchup, mustard, dill pickles, and raw onion. It's still a cash only restaurant and not open in the winter months. This past summer we made our annual Redamax stop with our kids. They loved the velveeta cheese burgers and Barq's red cream soda. We also liked their clam strips. Redamax has grown in seating and size, but it doesn't change. It's the "simple" that makes it so special. You can't pass by New Buffalo without a stop at Redamax!
