This place is absolutely horrible! Their staff is even worse. They are disrespectful and rude. And…read moreif you look a certain way, it's even worse! Definitely not worth the money! Way too snobby for not that great of a facility! Dont bother trying to get a job there either because no one will call you back even with experience.

Joined my friend as her guest for the day, and this place really feels luxurious. A giant…read moremultilevel facility with indoor outdoor amenities, and everything in between. I got the grand tour and saw all of the special workout rooms, childcare, coworker space, Pickleball courts, pools, recovery, areas, cold, plunges, saunas, and more. I loved how vast the actual gym floor was, with plenty of machines and free weights, everything you could think of, and not too crowded. Although it was a Saturday afternoon, I get the feeling that it's never unbearably crowded. They have enough machines to go around to avoid long lines. I got a great workout in, and then we hit the showers. We went in the sauna for a bit, as well as switched between the hot tub and cold plunge, it was really nice. I love that the locker rooms have everything you need, large and small towels, toiletries, and hairdryers The showers are hot with great water pressure and everything feels very clean. I had such a nice experience here. However, I don't think it's worth the membership price. Not only is it almost half an hour from me, but even if it was two minutes away, i don't think i could justify the $330 a month price tag. There's just not enough value there.

My girls had a lot of fun. It was clean and well maintained and really affordable…read more Water park/pool area was packed because it was spring break, which wasn't their fault, except that "lazy river" (super small) wasn't supervised well and had way way too many people in it. I would only recommend regulated crowds more, that's why I gave it 4 instead of 5.

Why did I pay $23 to swim in a freezing cold pool crammed full of unsupervised children?! Literally…read morethe worst experience I've had at ANY rec center (and I've been to pretty much all of them within an hour radius). I brought my daughter to swim and we stayed about 30 min. The only area where she could *actually* swim had a giant fan blowing down from the ceiling...we were both shivering within 10 minutes. The pool area looks massive, but the actual space for a kid to swim is tiny. SO much wasted space. The playground are is great for toddlers, but beyond that it's a huge disappointment. Why is there a huge fan blowing down onto the pool on a cold, rainy day?? The pool water temps were miserably cold which means the hot tubs were overrun with people who were camped out in them. We couldn't even dip a toe in the hot tub because they were 'full'. There were also crowds of completely unsupervised kids everywhere we turned. The whole 'adult supervision for kids under 10' is an absolute JOKE. After being pushed, kicked, shoved, jumped on for 30 minutes, we cut our losses and left. Will absolutely not be back.

Review for Planet Fitness - 98 Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood (Manager: Tim)…read more I regularly come to this Planet Fitness location to use the massage beds included with my Black Card membership. As a professional content creator, this is part of my therapeutic routine before work or photo shoots. I have never had any issues here--until this incident, which was one of the most distressing experiences I've ever had at a gym. After using the facilities, I took a shower and returned to the women's dressing room to get ready for an event. While I was still undressed and inside my changing stall, I suddenly heard a man's voice inside the women's locker room. Moments later, there was knocking on my dressing room door from a male manager, asking me to step out. There was no warning, no announcement, and no female staff member present. I was caught completely off guard, rushing to grab my clothes while this man stood right outside my door--despite the fact that those stalls have small gaps where people can easily see in. My privacy was completely violated. When I asked why he was in the women's dressing room, he claimed he was responding to a complaint about "someone eating" inside. I explained that I had only been eating olives, which I must do due to a medical condition requiring small snacks. Planet Fitness even sells snacks. Nowhere in the membership manual have I ever seen a rule against this. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he continued to justify his actions and told me to "check the terms of agreement," even though none of this was listed there. He then added that "some things aren't written," which only made the situation feel more inappropriate and unsafe. As a survivor of sexual assault, this incident triggered my PTSD and left me shaking. Basic customer service and safety protocol dictate that male staff must announce themselves clearly before entering a women's locker room--yet that did not happen here. I left feeling cornered, disrespected, and violated. Thankfully, I was wearing my Meta glasses during part of the interaction, and this footage may be necessary if I choose to involve an attorney. I'm sharing this review as a warning: If privacy matters to you, this location may not be a safe or respectful environment. What I experienced was unacceptable, and I truly hope Planet Fitness addresses this serious breach of privacy and protocol.
