One of the best massages I've ever had and I've had thousands. MARIA was a gem. Strong and went deep in all the places I needed. I had an injury and was hoping for some relief. I don't speak Spanish so I gave my instructions of what I was going to need to the owner who translated to the masseuse, Maria. This particular room was very clean albeit a little cold as the AC was blowing hard. The table was heated and the music relaxing. Maria was very intuitive and we worked together to move so much of the inflammation and discomfort I was having out of my body. The people were friendly and nice. But coming from another state where I pay a fraction. Of what I did here was kind of disappointing. One of the main reasons I do Pedicure is for the massage which was barely any. It was a VERY basic Pedicure that cost me over 75. It's overpriced for the service you receive. I booked a Gel color change without removal on the MINDBODY app for 9:30 this morning (see photo for what I chose) and it was listed as being $30 for 25 minutes. A week ago I had a full set of gel nails put on back where I live in the states. It was my first time. They grew out quite a bit and wanted a touch up and thought this might be the thing to choose. When I got there they did not have record of my appointment. I am not bothered and say I will wait. We discuss what I want done including keeping the tips and getting gel added in by my cuticles where it's grown out. They say they don't work on acrylic and that I can't get a gel fill. I don't really understand what this means so I explain there are just tips added and layers of gel and then a gel polish on top. They seem to understand it's a different situation & say they can do what I want so I go in and they start the process of grinding a little and then I sit with my nails in acetone while they work on someone else for a while. I figure maybe it's just to get that top coat of gel color off to make the change. However, when they check on my nails and file a little the tip of my pinkie immediately comes off and I ask if they all have to come off but I'm not sure I was understood but I'm told not to put my nails back in. When I'm back at the table I'm told to put my nails back in the acetone for another 10-15 minutes each hand and then it is definitely clear the tips are all coming off. I'm disappointed, because I thought I made it clear I wanted to keep them, but figure, maybe it'll be fine and at least I'll have a pretty gel polish on my short natural nails. By the end though, as you can see from the pictures, the remaining nails (some of which do still have bits of tip left over) are not shaped, any remaining glue is still on my fingers, and the polish is not even or neat. It is also easily chipping a few minutes later after I leave, which wasn't until 11:45. I paid $53 plus a $10 tip because I can't bear not paying for work done, but I am so disappointed and wish I had just kept my gel nails and waited until I returned home for a gel fill. Lesson learned about not fully understanding what is about to happen to my nails. I can't fault them for fitting me in a little late because of the MINDBODY app messing up. I wish I was explicitly told I wasn't getting what I thought, and that it would cost more and take longer. I wish the result wasn't so messy. read more

My boyfriend & I made a last min reservation for a 80 min couples Swedish massage with Andrea & Wilfredo and we loved our experience!! I'm writing this review from start to finish. I found this place on yelp. Got to PR yesterday and my experience so far in this trip has been pretty bad. So I figured a nice pedicure today to start my day off better. Parking is difficult. Don't even bother looking. Just find the valet that are around the corner for $8 I walked in and it was pretty awkward. Almost like a movie when you walk into a place and the the record player skips and every turns and looks at you. I want welcomed - it was if they thought I walked in and was lost. I am assuming they are not used to men waking in this place. There are 3 chairs to sit and wait. They were all full. I sat down and was told to pick pack of different scents of whatever it was. So I just told them I want a nice pedicure. At this point I'm a little frustrated because I wasn't asked what type I want and based off the menu I saw on yelp - there are several different options. So I guess I'll know which one they did once I go to pay. Maybe I'm spoiled living in Miami and getting pedicures from the places I usually go to. Normally I'm offered a coffee or a water but wasn't and can definitely use one right about now since I was drinking last night. Also as a side note - I assume they have a room for massages in the back but they were giving a massage to a girl right in the front which I thought was weird. Nails are all cut. She did a really good job. Now on to the bottom of the feet and as man - it's where we need the most work. I hate when they use the machine that looks like a small blow dryer. To me it does absolutely nothing. You need to work that with elbow grease and muscle. And besides that - it doesn't make a black shirt look good for the girl doing the pedicure. $50 for a pedicure is typically what I pay in Miami but I get the 5 start experience. This was not that type of experience. All in all this is like a 3 star experience. Wouldn't come back as I'm sure there are plenty of other places with this price and better service. read more

I normally like to get my nails and feet done before I go on vacation, but unfortunately I wasn't able to this go round. I found Euforia on Yelp and it seemed to have great reviews so I decided to give it a try. It was very easy to go online and get my appointment, when I arrived I was we greeted immediately even though I was about 20 minutes early for my appointment. I was in served a glass of champagne while I received my manicure. The reason why I rated this place only two stars, is because within 3 days my dipped Nails completely came off. I don't mean that I peeled them off, I don't mean that they started to chip, I mean that the entire nail came off as if it was one of those convenience store press on nails. I was absolutely appalled, and was forced to spend even more money to have them removed and get another manicure once I got back in the States. I'm not necessarily saying that you shouldn't seek out the salon, I'm just letting you know that you shouldn't get the powdered dipped nails as part of your manicure. read more

Arrived in San juan with a weeks worth of travel and stress taking over my body. My whole body aches from hours on plane. I was here last year and received a great massage, so first thing this morning I called and made a reservation, then walked 4. To 5 blocks from the Marriott. Harold was my masseuse. I picked the $30.00 destress. Massage. Total price $33.00 plus tip 20 minutes and I was a new woman. His hands were made to massage. Big, strong yet so healing. Next time (probably 2morow) I will get the whole body massage. I feel so wonderful right now. No kinks, no neck pain. No lower back pain and the neck bone, which had been protruding is back in place. I was on a long weekend getaway with girlfriends celebrating my birthday. We stayed at La Concha Resort which was across the street from Euforia Spa. We decided to check out the spa. It is located on the second floor of a small office building so you can't really tell much from the outside. The energy is warm and inviting, from the moment we walked in we were greeted by Giselle who was extremely nice and patient as we were not sure what services we wanted. She explained everything thoroughly. We decided on some body treatments and booked for the next 2 days. On day 1 I had a cavitation treatment which is a body treatment for fat reduction. Jonita was my therapist who also was so knowledgeable and explained everything as she performed my treatment. I thought it was going to be painful and unpleasant however I was surprised at how it was totally relaxing and painless. The next morning I went back and had a massage with Alexis. Alexis is a male therapist who was so professional and respectful in his mannerism which made me totally comfortable. His technique was smooth and flowed easily from his draping techniques to his massage techniques. It was truly a great massage. Horrible Horrible service! I paid $95 for a 25 minute massage that lasted only 12 minutes. When I brought it to the managers attention she questioned the masseuse and they lied about the time that they completed the massage. She offered a 10% discount. Was vacationing in San Juan for my birthday, and on my last day I wake up to flash flood warnings and my plans for the day are now ruined. After chatting with my daughter on the phone, she suggested I have a spa day since I couldn't get out and about like I wanted. Sounded like a great idea! She found Euforia online and booked it for me. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew my daughter picked a winner. I filled out the information sheet, and was soon greeted by Yantach, my assigned masseuse. Good heavens, I caught myself snoring twice while on the table. The medium pressure was perfect! The 80 minute massage was exactly what I needed. Once she finished, I stayed in the same room, and Ruth came in for the body scrub. which was AMAZING!! Not only was I relaxed, but my skin felt like velvet! Once I got dressed and walked out of the room, I was greeted by all of the staff with a cupcake complete with a birthday candle, a glass of champagne, and all of the staff singing Happy Birthday to me. Apparently my daughter had noted that when she reserved my visit. I felt so incredibly special and it really was the perfect ending to my birthday vacation.
