He listened to my issue with zero judgement, genuine concern and yes, there is a fee but he's a medical doctor who needs to be paid for his time and service. Any bonehead should know that. I am just waiting for one personal matter to be done in my life before I go back to him for help at the end of this month but as of right now, I am fully convinced that he will be able to help. He and his team provided me with step by step instructions and even a number where I can text for assistance at any time. I'm unsure what anyone else is looking for in a doctor but so far, I feel Dr. Mani has met every need that I was seeking in my ear, nose and throat doctor.

We went from one doctor to another, then another--and at one point it became almost absurd when she was sent to a plastic surgeon instead of an ENT specialist. On our fifth attempt, luck finally brought us to the office of Dr. Ghiam. From the first appointment, it was clear that he knew exactly what he was looking at and what needed to be done. I still remember him looking at my mom and simply saying, "I'll take care of you." And he did. You know when being a doctor feels less like a profession and more like a God-given gift? That is how we feel about Dr. Ghiam. After months of being passed from doctor to doctor, with no one really explaining what was going on or offering a clear path forward--and with insurance that certainly didn't make the process any easier--finding him almost seemed too good to be true. For a lot of doctors in my long term experience in the surgical arena that's where it all ends . Dr solved the problem case closed . Follow up office visit soon. But there is another side of the coin, one that used to be called a doctors bed side manner. How quaint a term of the past but on this day and age a more meaningful word , rather powerful word would be compassion. An entire phrase not needed just the word compassion . My Lovley lady expressed this to me after her 5 and a half hour surgery called an Endoscopic Posterior nasal neurectomy wow another tongue twister not a simple surgery at hand another surgeon Dr Sarkiss there to assist if needed . The final result of the surgery was a huge success I state outright after 19 doctors failed to find the solution to my Lady's dilemma drGhiam solved it .Way too complicated to explain this in medical terms my wife had extreme nasal unstoppable nasal drip for seven years her life was in misery for this malady Vasomotor rhinitis I believe was the result of a car crash 7 years ago that made a considerable damaged sinus area Dr that needed a resection and block. But the insurance and billing issues I've had since that appointment have given me many headaches. Their billing department said my insurance had lapsed, which it did not, and I also didn't have that issue when I was at urgent care the day prior and my gyno the next week, plus it was only an issue for 1 of my 3 visits with Dr. Finerman. So I don't think they put much of an effort to work with insurance companies. When I called their office to dispute, they told me to call their billing department, which is a voicemail-only service where you leave a message describing the issue and then THEY will call YOU back. I called multiple times and did not receive a call back, and I thought perhaps they resolved the issue with the insurance company since my calls weren't being returned. Nope, it was sent to bill collection, which was a scary first for me. The bill collector representative was helpful and worked with their billing department, and they understood the problem. I thought they resolved the issue (I had called to confirm but again never received any calls back). Nope! Fast forward to over 2 years later, and I received a bill collection notice from the same bill collector. In the 2 years since I last saw Dr. Finerman, I got a new job and thus new insurance and can no longer dispute their claim, so I had to eat the cost. A very disappointing billing experience that I hope they take seriously and that I hope new patients will stay vigilant about.
