Everyone is so nice at Auto Body Specialties. Preston went out of his way to repair my side mirror with used parts to save me money. Even when the mirror didn't work properly, he was ready to replace the mirror, but ended up fixing the problem while I waited. Took half and hour. The waiting room has comfy chairs and a giant aquarium with fabulous fish. This made waiting for the mirror to be attached fun and relaxing. They stood out because you could tell they had a passion for cars and weren't just working from the "insurance checklist". My daughter drove my new car through our garage. My brother Frank Williams is one of the best painters in town. With over 20 years experience I would trust no one else to paint my car. Auto Body Specialties in Springfield was friendly and professional. They gave me a time frame to have my car fixed and it was done a little earlier. I was very happy. I have seen a lot of other paint jobs and I can always see the shade of paint is slightly off. My car is white with a pearl finish. I have had other people look at the paint job that Auto Body Specialties did, and they cant believe how good it is. You can't even tell it was ever in an accident. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment date. When I arrived they never heard of me. They said I could leave my vehicle for 1 week to a MONTH and they would work me in. I had a problem that rain was getting into the heater air intake and then puddling on the floor in the car. I stopped in to ask if they would be the correct business to fix the problem or if I needed to see a mechanic. While I asked my question to the receptionist, a man got up from his office desk and asked for my car keys. He put my car into the shop and proceeded to remove the windshield wipers and the plastic vents that allow air (but not water) into the heater intake. He fixed the issue. Had me step out into the shop to show me how he fixed it. Then put my car pack together. Total time - 20 minutes. He charged me $0.00. Said he did not mind helping people out on little things. I was surprised that the owner would jump up and offer to fix the issue without an appointment. I was surprised that he would do it for free. And when I was in the shop, he had all bays full of cars being worked on. His team was busy and yet he could help me out. I also saw the work that his team was doing on the other cars in the shop. They were just finishing up a BMW 6 series car and it looked like new. They had a Honda, and a couple SUVs all being repaired. The shop was clean. The other workers were courteous and professional. If or when I ever need body work I will go to Auto Body Specialties. read more

I have a 2016 Tacoma my father back to the into a tree. Took it into auto body specialties because that's the one that my insurance company recommended, I dropped the vehicle off after the parts have been ordered and delivered Monday, October 30 called them yesterday November 14 and asked for an update Only to find out they just got authorization to start on the repairs so unlike a general mechanic shop that releases the vehicle upon payment evidently they have to have the payment in its entirety before they will even begin on the repairs. Just a little irritated that instead of having my vehicle while they were making preparations for the repairs I've been riding my bicycle for the last two weeks for no reason. Aside from that I have no complaints very polite staff and have not seen the quality of the repairs yet read more

Really pleased with the work by Auto Body Specialties. I had a minor fender problem with my car and it needed a little adjustment so the body would not rub on the wheel during certain bumps or dips in the road. I took it to another place in Eugene first, explained I wanted a minor adjustment, not a complete overhaul over the front of the car, and they refused and said it was impossible to fix without spending upwards of $3000. I didn't believe that the problem was that serious. I took it to Auto Body Specialties and told them what the issue was and what I was hoping to have done. They ended up completely fixing the problem for less than $100. They were able to consider the problem with a more skilled mind and in the end I drove away a happy customer and with my car fixed just how I wanted. read more

This place is top notch for customer service. I needed guidance on where to order some parts for my truck. It probably wasn't normally something they do, as I didn't actually need body work, but they ordered the parts for me, installed them, and then washed my truck! Even though it was a small job for them, they made me feel like their most important customer that day. read more

Very poor customer service. I took my car here last summer and when it was returned to me it had damage that wasn't present when I took it in. When I took it back in and showed them the damage it was fixed but not until after I was told they didn't know how that happened and insinuated I did the damage. My car still is not repaired properly but once they received insurance payment they no longer were concerned on fixing it. They do not know much about my car and instead of being honest they outsourced to have some done. I'd rather someone tell me they don't know so I can rnd someone who does. No wrong in that. My check engine light came on meds than hour of getting it back. I took it back in after weekend, they charged me quite a bit to diagnose when other places do it for free. And the repair they did was not cheap eitherand I requested them to bill insurance due to front of car was very damaged but they said they are unable to tell if or if not it was caused by the accident. This after o spoke with insurance company and they said to bill it due to extensive damage done. So all in all I'd say if you love your car and have an unfortunate accident do NOT take it here. Your car will never be the same and their services ate poor. read more
