She listened to what Nic wanted and then expertly located choices from her vast array of catalogues that fit the description to a T! I think it took about 15 minutes for Nic to find her dress! And when it arrived, less than a week later, it fit perfectly!! No alterations needed at all!! And the dress was stunning, as you will see in her photograph! I was also able to browse a few original pieces Eugenia had on display -- they were stunning! Eugenia is amazing! I was searching for a seamstress near me, and was lucky to find her. I approached her only 3 weeks before my event; I needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed for my cousins wedding. She gave me a very reasonable quote. She measured me, and we scheduled a few fittings as needed. Eugenia made sure I liked the length of the dress. She made sure I was happy. Her work is done very professionally, and lasts longer than one wear (unlike many other seamstresses that I've dealt with). She made some suggestions of things to add, which I ended up liking. This post is long over due! With that being said I have known Miss Eugenia for years and she is truly an amazingly talented seamstress. I was searching for my wedding dress, going to all the usually places to find something that would fit my style as well as not break the bank. After trying on multiple dresses, then leaving unsatisfied I thought about Eugenia. I made an appointment to go see her, in hopes that she would be able to help me in my plight. She welcomed my mom, my sister and I with open arms full of love. She truly cares about you and wants to make sure that you are happy. After explaining to her what my style was she brought out a dress which she had created and set aside. I took the plunge and tried it on. Honesty there was some divine intervention because that dress fit me like a glove. I couldn't believe it and neither could they. She was able to apply the small adjustments to the dress to make it just prefect. I was so happy that I was able to wear a truly one of a kind dress that brought a tear to my husband's eye. Thirty years ago, Eugenia made my wedding dress and it was beautiful, unique, and so very special. Fast forward to this year, and once again, Eugenia helped me find the perfect dress for my upcoming wedding. She listened to what I wanted, looked at the examples I had saved on Pinterest, made a few sketches, and then suggested a beautiful dress that she had in her shop (something a bit different than what I had in mind, but I went along because I trusted her completely). When I put on the sample, I knew I had found my perfect dress. When the dress came in, Eugenia made all the necessary alterations, suggested accessories and lingerie, and together we pieced together a wonderful ensemble that will add to an already wonderful day. This place is not good for a bride's self-esteem. I came across Eugenia's while I was passing through this shopping center a couple of years ago during my hunt for a wedding dress. I decided to give them a try... maybe they had the "perfect" wedding dress for me. I was welcomed by two staff members. They had me look around to see what I liked. There was only one dress I semi-liked. The dress was about two sizes too small for me, but the ladies insisted I try it on anyways. Reluctantly I went into the dressing room to try it on knowing this dress probably wouldn't fit. I put it on and of course it didn't fit! I couldn't even zip it up! They hollered for me to come out with the dress on. I told them it doesn't zip. They insisted come out anyways. So feeling the peer pressure, I came out with the silly dress unzipped in the back. Then they did the worst thing you could do to a bride... The ladies laughed at me! Yes, I realize me the hippo was trying to squeeze herself into this just-not-my-size dress looked ridiculous, but did they have to laugh at me? I had told them upfront the dress was not my size. Perhaps I was simply there for their amusement. Then one of the ladies said, "Oh, you're too BIG for this dress." Gee, thanks for pointing that out LOUD and CLEAR, lady. I thought the unzipped look was latest bridal trend. At this point I was so embarassed and wanted out of there ASAP. When they finally let me get dressed, I was ready to walk out with my bruised bride ego. But they pulled me aside and for 15 minutes they tried to pressure me to order a gown from a catalog. After what felt like eternity, I finally walked out of there with two things: my shattered self-esteem and my body image tarnished. read more

Very unhappy with the quality of work. I'm a seamstress by trade and only went here because I was in a time crunch. The construction of my daughter's flower girl dress way under parr for even a sewing 101 class. So not worth the $100 I was charged. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more
