The sales associate who helped me was incredibly kind and sweet -- she made me feel comfortable and really took the time to help me find a dress I loved. I actually fell in love with a gown by Ines di Santo and asked if an overskirt could be made for it. I made it clear that if the overskirt could be done, I was ready to move forward with the purchase. The associate said she'd check on it and get back to me, but unfortunately, I never heard back. It's been over a month now, and the lack of follow-up was really disappointing, especially since I was ready to buy the dress. I ultimately decided not to reach out again and went elsewhere, where the consultant was much more proactive and eager to help. Additionally, there was no meaningful attempt from management to step in, take ownership in a personal way, or offer any form of resolution beyond the minimum. A general apology after the fact does not replace real time customer care. Framing this situation as an expectation of "flawlessness" avoids the real issue. I went to lovella and may I say I had the most beautiful, kind, and thoughtful experience. The lady who took care of me was Aimee. My oh my, was she a star. Aimee, she put so much effort and time into getting to know me and what I like. She didn't rush me she asked me all the great questions and she is the most positive and happy person. She picked some of my dresses to try and she checked all my boxes. She was gentle when putting on the dress and she was helpful and kind to do so. She offered me crowns and a veil and she even took all my videos and pictures. One of the most special things she did for me was she offered a petticoat for me under my dress to get the full experience of what a ball gown was. Last. LIKE WHAT? I didn't care I moved out of a small room into a stunning room with double mirrors and French doors. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We felt we were discriminated against because we were Hispanic. From the very beginning we were belittled and treated rudely. Came here with my cousin for an appointment she had made. We get there, and the lady who open the door didn't even acknowledge the rest of the party she just asked my cousin if this was everyone and told her only 3 people allowed. And ignored the rest of the party. Finally when the 3 of us got in, the lady said she couldn't find our appointment in the system. Even though my cousin had an email and called to confirm the appointment. Did not once apologize for the inconvenience or misunderstanding. Didn't even think it could've been an error on their part. She just assumed my cousin got the wrong bridal shop and told her they're fully booked and could wait an hour to see if another bride cancels. We just took it as a sign to go with another dress from another bridal shop. But I would NOT recommend to anyone. ALSO! I've read enough reviews from here to see that they're great at answering but use very strategic language to not take accountability and turn the tables to make it seem like it's the people's fault. I went here because they had a specific dress in stock- Martina Liana Luxe LE 1117 and I knew I had to try it on, and I did buy it. I also followed them on social media and they have great accounts so I assumed they were great and professional. The entire dress buying process was fine, the girls that helped me were great and friendly and helpful. Post-purchase is where the issue was. With my purchase I was told they would hold my dress until a few days before the wedding, and I would be returning there for all of my alterations. I was at ease knowing my dress would be safe there until the wedding day. Then about 6 months before my wedding, and a few weeks before my scheduled tailoring with them, I received an automated TEXT MESSAGE on a Saturday at 5:05 PM telling me "sorry", they can no longer alter my dress and I will need to call to pick it up. Of course they graciously texted after they closed for the day so I couldn't immediately speak with someone, and I was left stressed out in my apartment in tears over finding a new tailor and having to keep my dress on me when everything was supposed to be handled. (Mind you this dress was 6k). I ended up picking it up and finding another tailor, but was shocked at the absolute horrible customer service in not having someone actually call me and walk me through this change. In getting a post-store closing text message rather than someone speaking with me and apologizing for going back on what I was promised. I understand having a short-staff in alterations, but it was the way this was shared with me that left me absolutely pissed. From start to finish, I had a great experience at Lovella Bridal. I did my research in advance and had a general idea of the style of dress I wanted, the budget I wanted to spend, and considered the wedding venue location/setting and the events throughout the day when picking out my wedding dress. I was first helped by Jenna during my first visit and she was absolutely a perfect fit as my stylist. She made me feel comfortable right away, did not pressure me into any dresses and made great suggestions on the type of dress to try on based on my inspiration photos and a description of what type of dress I was looking for and felt comfortable in. The process was very organized and after I tried on about 5-6 dresses, I went back to my original "one" that I fell in love with right away. Jenna still recommended I try on other dresses to make sure I was absolutely sure, and I'm glad that she did because I was able to negate any doubts and felt confident about my choice. She was very informative, patient, and overall it felt like shopping with a friend. My best friend was with me during my initial visit and she also had a great experience. It felt private, not rushed, and most importantly, FUN. Because of this experience I decided to do my alterations at Lovella Bridal as well. My measurements were taken and the order was in, I shopped about 9 months before my wedding date. A few months later after the dress arrived at the shop, Lovella contacted me and gave me a clear guideline and timeline on what to expect until my wedding day. We had 2 more fittings in-between for alterations and with my wedding shoes, and then a final one the week of the wedding to make sure everything was in tip top shape. Each time we visited Lovella we took advantage of the location and had a luncheon at the Brand at Americana (since we were coming from Orange County - almost 2 hours one way with traffic). It was THAT WORTH IT to get my dress at Lovella because the value, service, and expertise was unmatched. I had such a wonderful experience with Lovella. The salon is beautiful and all of the specialists are SO sweet and helpful. I had been eyeing a gown that I knew they carried for months, and I asked to see some from that designer, Martina Liana. The very first dress they gave me was "the one," and I couldn't have been happier. It was such a fun day. The seamstress is a PRO, she took it in and added thicker straps to hold up my heavier chest. She did exactly what I asked, and I was extremely happy with my final fitting. Fast forward to just weeks before my wedding; COVID shut everything down, and Lovella offered to hold on to my dress until my postponement. My wedding was postponed twice, and Lovella worked with my schedule. I also live out of state, and they accommodated me and all of my travel dates. Fast forward to just weeks before my TRUE wedding date; I am four months pregnant, and will be five months on my wedding day. Thanks, COVID. Hahaha. The girls at Lovella didn't miss a beat, they were so cute and excited about the whole situation, and they had solutions. They helped ease my stresses in ways I can't explain. I LOVE this dress, it was a pretty penny, and I was so worried it wouldn't work out. Thankfully my dress still fit, however the amazing seamstress corseted a portion of the back to allow for more room to grow. She also extended the straps because my already heavy chest had nearly doubled in size. It ended up looking absolutely gorgeous and I was so, SO incredibly happy it all worked out. Everyone at the wedding said I hardly looked pregnant, and it was only noticeable from the side. As I look through photos of the gowns I tried on and reflect on my experience at Lovella, I am disappointed. What I thought was going to be great experience based on the other reviews, it wasn't that great at all. This is the third bridal dress shop I have been to during the pandemic and one that I had high expectations for. Maybe it was just my luck and I didn't get paired with the best sales person. From the start of the appointment, she was nice & I showed her a few photos of what I liked, I explained that this was the third shop & I have an idea of what I don't want and want, etc. I felt like I just wasn't getting what I was describing from the sales person. I felt unheard. She had made some remarks which made me wonder why she is even selling wedding dresses in the first place. I had told my cousin that was with me that I wanted that "feeling" a bride usually gets when they try on dresses and that I wanted to cry. The sales woman over heard and told me that I don't need to cry to know it's the dress for me because SHE didn't cry when she found her wedding dress. (I didn't ask for her opinion lol). Then, after I had tried on several dresses of the same silhouette, I asked to see something different. The sales woman told me that I should want to "look sexy and feel like a woman on my wedding day" and that what I was asking for was more "youthful" and "fairytale" looking. But she said it like that was a bad thing lol. My cousin that was with me actually had a fairytale wedding which is obviously unknowing to the sales person, but it bothered me that she would say that because I didn't want her to feel offended. ‍ I asked the sales person why I can't have both -- sexy and fairytale? Lol A part of me also felt judged because of my budget. She kept bringing me dresses from the sample sale area which were not great looking or in the best condition. I asked her if there was a sample sale event happening that same day because she kept telling me the prices of the gowns as I was trying them on and telling me that she grabbed it from the sale area. I know I am just trying them on, but I have seen sample sale dresses in better condition. This place is a bit on the pricy side considering I do have a good budget in my opinion ($4500) however, to be judged based on what I think My budget should be is different than what I am actually willing to spend. There was a dress I saw at the store that matched what I was describing and I asked to try it on and she said it was out of my budget. So what? I'm actually open to spending a little more if it's the right dress for me. To give her an idea, near the end of my appointment, I showed her a dress that I tried somewhere else because I really liked it. She took one look at the photo and told me that I looked "wide" in it disregarding the fact that I liked the style of the dress. I wasn't asking how I looked, I was telling her I wanted to see what they had similar to this dress. Sigh ‍ I could totally tell she was frustrated with me and my guest. I just didn't think the customer service part of the appointment was fully there. This is part of planning one of the most important days of my life and I felt like my business meant nothing. The other boutiques I have been to definitely made me feel important and cared for especially during this crazy time of not even knowing if I will get to have my wedding. I just don't feel like I was being heard during my appointment. I felt like it was a waste of time but then again I was able to know even more what I don't want. I came in on a Sunday during COVID. The check in procedure is thorough, and they give you water or a drink when you enter. Those were the only good points. I had a very ... okay experience here. You are not allowed to walk around the store or be near any dresses (I understand not being allowed to touch items, but you're not allowed to even look). My sales associate was really friendly at first, but when I seemed indecisive towards the end, the friendliness totally vanished. I asked if she could make a note of the dress I tried on that day in case I made up my mind, and she could not have cared less. (Another edit: at other bridal salons, they've given me a card with the dress I was interested in, or even a business card from the sales associate, but not here.) They post on social media all the time to attempt to draw in clients, but I feel kinda gross knowing that those same dresses might be sold to brides some day as sample dresses. It's just interesting because they're so stingy with the dresses with clients, yet the sales associates are clearly playing dress up with them all the time. read more

Came here to try on wedding dresses and I'm so glad I did! I found out about the store from my mother in law and decided to book an apt online. The store was super clean and cute. The staff were all super friendly and the waiting room was picture perfect. The stylist that helped me was Shannon and I HIGHLY recommend her! She was the most informative stylist that helped me across all of the stores I tried dresses on at. She was caring, informative of the different fabrics, asked about my fiance and wedding, helped me get in and out of the dress and helped me invision alterations I wanted to make in the dresses. She snipped a flower off a dress to show me how easily it can be done. I believe I got lucky with the best stylist they have. I ended up coming back the next day to buy my dress! They were able to squeeze me in and I was able to meet with Shannon as well. When I said yes, they gave me and my crew champagne! The sitting areas for the guests were perfect. They were separated from other sections so I wasn't being bombarded or watched by other brides/groups. The furniture they have is pretty comfortable too! I highly recommend Lovella and can't wait to come back for alterations! There is a parking lot around the corner/at the back of the store and you have to pay for parking.
