Fair warning, I love and have high expectations of sushi. This place is located in a good spot with decent parking and is decorated pretty well. The miso soup is tasty but definitely on the saltier side. The 2 rolls we got - they're not bad but definitely fish didn't taste nearly as fresh as other sushi places I've had in Houston. However, I haven't had a better sushi place in the Spring Branch area so I would give this a shot if you want a sushi place near this area only. The servers are nice. If you go at a busy time, you may need to waive them down more to get more water or the bill. read more

We ordered EurAsia off of DoorDash and we were incredibly disappointed with the quality of the food we received for a $50 order (tip/delivery fee not included). We ordered the Lauren App. The quality of the fish was abysmal. It wasn't fresh and was super bland. DoorDash had a BOGO special for the California rolls and edamame. The California rolls weren't any better than I could get at HEB for less. They cooked the edamame well, but it could have used more sea salt. Overall, very underwhelming food for the price. I rarely leave reviews, but felt that this had to be shared. Service: 1 out of 5 My husband and I were sat at a table and immediately asked what we would like to drink and order for an appetizer. Odd to ask about appetizers when we haven't even had a chance to open the menu. Feeling rushed, we ordered the vegetable tempura appetizer. The tempura was forgotten and never brought out. While looking over the menu, the female server kept coming back to ask if we were ready to order. When I let her know I was still deciding, she, with an attitude, asked "do you need help?" I've been eating sushi across the world for many years and was very surprised to get this sort of rushed and rude service. Both servers working Nov 6 at 12:30PM seemed very unhappy, as if we were inconveniencing them. The poor attitude made our dining experience awkward and unpleasant. With many Japanese and sushi restaurants in Houston, this is one we cannot not recommend. Hot Food: 3 out of 5 Vegetable tempura was never brought out. Chicken katsu curry bento was a good portion. Curry was not Japanese curry, but more of a Thai curry with coconut. Nigiri: 4 out of 5 Nigiri had good fish to rice ratio. No wasabi in between fish and rice. Spicy chopped scallops were lightly covered in spicy mayo, with sriracha on top. Salmon and yellowtail were smooth and tasty. The worst bento box ever. Everything was devoid of flavor. Chicken katsu curry and the curry was bland and watery. Even their dipping sauces lacked taste. My sushi was eel and shrimp tempura, the shrimp tempura was CHEWY on the Inside. The drinks we ordered --we could taste no alcohol. On top of all this they had 2025 country music on --in a japanese fusion restaurant. And to finish off, the waitress charged us with another tables meal. Service was excellent and the food was pretty good. I had the Ahi Tower appetizer as my entree and it was plenty generous enough for my grumbling stomach. It was full of my two favorite sushi components - tuna and snow crab. And this thing is gorgeous! The artwork on the plate is the shamwow of the dish. You drag your forkful across this beautiful, spicy sauce combo and voila - a complete and perfect bite. Order this. Okay, this is now my official favorite sushi spot! We came in about a month ago and couldn't stop thinking about it. Stopped back in tonight after running errands. We came at 8:30, and they close at 9:30 but it was perfect. Not busy, quiet, and casual. Staff was pleasant and friendly. EurAsia provided good quality sushi and I was grateful for that. Living in Houston for only 6 months and still trying to establish my go to sushi spots that are somewhat close to where I live. This could possibly be one of them. :) Easy online ordering on their website where you could schedule for pickup ASAP or for the future. They do provide curbside pickup and they have a lot of parking spots for that. I went inside to pick up my food though and the interior looked nice. I do believe you have to call for reservations to dine in. There were a lot of employees from what I could see, so I think dining in won't have slow service. My food was ready at the time I scheduled it for and was in and out in less than a minute. I only ordered two rolls: spicy salmon and energy roll. Both were good. Takeout package came with soy sauce, a container of ginger and wasabi, forks, and chopsticks. I would definitely want to try other rolls of theirs for sure. I'll be back, EurAsia! :) read more

But now the food lacks flavor, quality Japanese ingredients and effort. Bland food that could be served at an Elderly home. Perhaps the new management is trying to cater to the local non-asian demographic or we accidentally came here on Senior Citizen Night. Food is great and I love the sushi there. I've been going there off and on for 15 years and one of the waiters handed me a happy hour menu. It clearly states 4-7 on the website and on the menu. He left and then came back and declined my order. The business admits they need to update the menu and the website to reflect Sat Happy Hour is from 4-6pm. Honestly a nice surprise! The exterior of this place is a typical unassuming suburban sushi joint - but honestly the quality here parallels and expensive sushi restaurant for me. The portions are nice and filling and they have just about everything under the sun in terms of roll and app options (HUGE menu!). Prices aren't bad at all for the filling ness of the food. I learned of this place due to proximity to my work. Since I do other stuff in the neighborhood, like go to the eye doctor and stuff, I still go as I work from home. The online ordering process is easy, and they bring it out to your car. The lunch deals are a pretty good deal, from the cafe or the sushi bar. Sometimes, the maki rolls are not rolled tight enough, but I have had good fish maki and nigiri several times. read more

Went there for a Friday night dinner. Very disappointed! The service was awful, the waitress appeared like she is above us and doesn't want to serve us. We ordered Sashimi and sushi deluxe platter. It looks beautiful but comes with only 5 slides of sashimi, 5 nigiri and a tiny roll. They put the nigiri next to the ice where they lay the sashimi on, and this makes the sushi rice wet as the ice melts. Definitely not worth $42 given the quality! If you're a black person (or a POC), don't come here. The customer service here is terrible and the staff walks past you and acts like you're not standing there. The short young girl at the front desk greeted and took care of every other person standing BEHIND me, but refused to greet and even look at me. She even gave me a disgusted look as if I bothered her, all because I wanted to see how long the wait would be. I didn't come here to dine in, but to pick up a Doordash order. I told the girl I was picking up an order and she just said "they're working on it, five more minutes" and refused to even check the system or check on the order for me. I'm highly disappointed, and I was just picking up an order. I now understand why this restaurant was named "EurAsia". I waited over 20 minutes to pick up the order by the way, and there were no apologies on the delay. I was patient in waiting, but the disrespect was obvious. Our waiter was excellent, got us our drinks and I ordered crab puffs as an appetizer, crab puff came out quick. Then we ordered our sushi dinner, I let my kiddo choose are the dishes we had (minus the crab puff). Crab puff - 3/5 wished the cream cheese was a bit more creamy with the crab meat. Sauce was too sweet. Philadelphia roll - smoked salmon cream cheese + avocado. 5/5 can't really mess up this order up :) Volcano roll - a California roll, baked scallops, spicy mayo, sriracha, eel sauce + masago. 3/5 didn't like how it was made from a California roll, just not my cup of tea. Spicy salmon hand roll 5/5 was filled with a lot of salmon Tiger eye hand roll - smoked salmon, cream cheese, + jalapeño 5/5 asked server to replace the soy paper with regular seaweed paper. Very different + would get it again . Overall good experience but was a little discouraged with the older gentleman who "greeted" us before he passed us to another waitress to seat us. I'll start first by saying my family and I used to love this place and go all the time. Over the past year or so, this place has gone downhill due to a very subpar experience we have had with takeout orders. In the past several months, we've ordered 4 times and 3 of the 4 have been screwed up. We get a half hearted apology from the staff at the front desk, no offer to make it right, no manager that comes out and talks to you, nothing. This was our 4th and last chance as they screwed our order up again. My wife and I have come here two times post pandemic and the orders have been wrong and service lacking. My best buddy and his wife had his birthday dinner here last night and everything was on point from the wait time to the service. Japanese restaurants aren't normally judged for their bento boxes, but I was truly enamored with the chicken katsu one. The meal consists of tempura, rice, gyoza, and of course, the chicken katsu itself. It's a surefire winner in terms of presentation, portions, and taste. Nothing remained except for the orange slices. Should I return here, I must remind myself to order it again in addition to sushi and possibly a ramen. Speaking of sushi, that was what many of the guests ordered. My friend Steve's order came in this unique piece of glassware which was shaped like a toy ship! The dinner was winding down and I was just about stuffed when I heard our waitress mentioned dessert. Right then and there, I browsed the menu again and settled on the fried banana ice cream. I finally visited this Americanized sushi restaurant in Spring Branch after knowing about it for several years. I just happened to be in the area and in the mood for sushi, so this one is about as good as you will get in Spring Branch without venturing into other areas. I came for lunch, a great time to sample sushi and get a deal. Not everything on the lunch menu is a deal though. If you are ordering sushi a la carte, expect to pay the same price as the dinner menu. I chose the 2 roll special and the sushi and sashimi combo. I don't typically order items that say Chef's choice partly because I only want certain types of fish, but also because the Chef's tend to give out a lot of tuna, roe, or lower quality fish. As with the case here, I received about half of what I would have normally ordered, but the other half was fish I didn't prefer and even one nigiri sushi that was not as fresh as it could have been. The rolls were a safer bet and were decent. The interior is pretty cozy with their unusual dining room configuration. You'll either be sitting on the right side, or the left side with the bar and restrooms. read more

This is one of my girlfriend and I's "girls night" spot options and I like that it's become a regular occurance. We order a couple (okay, like way too many) rolls and some appetizers to share. Girls night basically means order ALL THE FOODS and no one can judge, okay? I'm knocking off a star just because our cocktails are hit or miss sometimes.
