I was referred here by a friend for cheaper repair. I got my breaks replaced but on my way home it was breaking really weird and after getting it checked it turned out they were installed wrong. I came back to let him fix the dangerous mistake. Later on I had another problem with coolant leaking from a sensor. I told him where it was coming from but who believes a woman in automotive right. He ended up replacing the coolant container instead and the leaked continue after spending $500. I did not care to come back and waste anymore time and went to someone else who actually fixed the problem. When he called saying what was wrong I told him I would come pick it up but as it turns out he had already replaced it without permission. I took my SUV to this guy Sam in good faith thinking that he would do a great job fixing my vehicle and instead all that he did was give me "a run around" saying that my vehicle had too much wrong with it to fix, which it didn't, all it had to have replaced was the transmission and possibly either the engine and/or motor too. I took my 93 Lexus LS400 to Samer to see if he could fix an exhaust leak WITHOUT replacing the entire part (a 10 hr job) He assured me he was quite confident he could and that he would not charge me if he could not. Samer fixed the leak and my car is now both quiet and exhaust fumes no longer come in the car. His shop is clean and his cost was quoted up front and very reasonable. The BEST and trust worthy mechanics and trust me, they are hard to find. I use to take my various cars to the dealership, because of the warranty. However after numerous returns back and forth to the dealership with fixing the same problems and more money I had to dig out of my pocket, I had enough. I started researching on local mechanic/auto repair shops in my neighborhood and Eurasian was the first one to pop up and was also recommended by the Better Business Bureau. this is a very risky place to go to if your car has a sensor or computer related problem such as the "check engine" light. This shop does not have a basic scanner which is a must have for a descent shop to communicate with the computer and other controllers in today's cars. You're most likely end up paying for several unnecessary repairs until they get it out of dumb luck or else send you to the dealer. the guy is also very rude and disrespectful. my car needed one coil and he replaced all 6 of them. what a rip off and then he had a very hard time paying $20 to retest my car for smog inspection. read more

It's one thing to read a review about a repair where everything went more or less as expected. But the real test of a business is, "what happens when things do NOT go as expected?" In January of 2017, Sam replaced the alternator on my '95 Ranger with 215,000 miles on it. Last week on the way to Sacramento, the new alternator failed. A typical warranty is 90 days, and I was already double past that. When I called Sam, he remembered me (I was a first-time customer in January), and he said that he would "take care of it." When I explained that the truck was in Sacramento, and he was in San Mateo, he agreed that without a working alternator, even a freshly-charged battery would not likely get me back to the shop. He suggested that I "upgrade" my AAA membership to "Premier" that allows one 200 mile tow every year. At Sam's suggestion, I now have the peace of mind of additional service from AAA, *plus* a brand-new alternator installed at no charge with a sincere apology for the inconvenience. In short, the dude knows his stuff, and he stands behind his work--even though premature failure of an electro-mechanical part is clearly beyond his control. And Sam is a nice guy, too! read more

I have what you could say is an older model car, a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder, which I have owned since 1992! I have an Acura TL Type S 2007, and I was at the acura dealership for an oil change and they told me I needed to get brakes, rotors and new tires. I was like ok. how much? they wrote up a work order and told me it would cost $2,200 + tax approximately.It seemed kinda high so I told them I would get back to them. I called one of my buddies to see if he knew of anyone who could do this kind of service and how much. He reffered me to Sam at Eurasian Auto, I went by to show them my car, and got quoted $1300 for everything, and the tires were potenza( I found out later that this is one of the best kinds). I was so happy, that I could save almost a $1000 dollars and still get all factory parts for much cheaper than the dealership. They were so professional, fast, and honest about everything, that I will never take my car anywhere else from now on. Hello People, This is my story: I am in active search of a car and I found one Camry that i wanted to buy, The person (unfortunately he never mentioned his name) suggested to meet at Starbucks on 4th st at San Mateo. I was there by 8AM, he gave me a call and offered me to meet him at his shop (why didn't he arrange the meeting there i don't know), so I had to drive to his shop, which is in 4 blocks away, but I was already under impression, that all this is suspicious. After I arrived we greeted each other and he let me to take a look at the car, he mentioned numerous times that the car is in perfect mechanical condition and doesn't require any mechanical attention, also he mentioned that the car has never been in accident. After a quick look I found that the car has at least one broken shock absorber boot, I pointed this to the seller and he mentioned - oh this is not broken, after couple arguments back and forth - he admitted that it is broken, but he was keep saying that this is unimportant. I know that thing is not a big deal, but come on, give me a break - you know that the car has some issues - you cannot claim that it is in "perfect mechanical" condition. I also found that the front right fender was misplaced which clearly states of an accident occurred in a past. Even if the car was in acceptable to drive condition - I hated the fact that the mechanic lied into my face and he tried to keep lying even after I showed him the issues. Unfortunately I cannot inform all people about that mechanic and I cannot estimate his professional level, but his moral and business etiquette requires a lot of improvements, not to say more. Another car mechanic, that I trust, recommended the owner of this business to to me as having a car for sale. The car was just what my daughter was looking for. The business owner, "Sam," assured us that this car was a one-owner car, that Sam was the only mechanic that had ever worked on this car and he'd kept it in top condition for his neice. Sam drove a hard bargain and would not budge on the top dollar price he was asking. The mileage was not low, but since it was one owner and ran well, we purchased it from Sam. Since then we've found out through Car-Fax (should have ran a check BEFORE buying), that we were the fifth owner! The car was originally sold in Florida, then had two owners in Georgia and finally made it to CA. Maybe his neice was actually the CA owner? Considering the difficulty in dealing with Sam and his dishonesty to increase his own profit, I would recommend people stay away from this company and owner. read more
