Be very careful when you go here. Double check that all of the screws are on tight and no missing parts. They changed my trucks engine (brand new) and it exploded a month later. before we talk about that, they left the bed of the truck loose, while driving on the freeway it began swaying and moving the truck. They left screws loose. Another time they cut up a piece of the plastic near the tire instead of adding a screw to tighten it. they did replace it. Back to the engine, they sent the truck over to the Ram dealership for repairs. When I would call, they would tell me my mechanic being these guys had to call. They never called to push the work or even try to figure out what was happening with the repairs. This went on for almost 1 yr. Until I called and told them to help me figure out why they weren't working on it. Then I took in my other car which never gave me any problems to replace some metal part that is connected to the wheel (excuse the lingo I can't remember the name of the part) and a month or so later, it began swaying on the freeway again, turns out it was LOOSE! both sides. I didn't trust them anymore, so I had another mechanic fix it. And lastly, I took another car in for a checkup for a problem. They wanted to charge me thousands of dollars to "repair it" I decided not to trust them again. Went to another mechanic who fixed the problems and that part they wanted thousands for, was just loose, and the other mechanic didn't even charge for it because it was easy access and just needed tightening. They seem to leave things loose on purpose, so you come back, then they tell u it's something else. And charge you more. read more

Great Experience. i went in for an oil change, filter chance and tire rotation. Drop off 8:30am Pick up 10:30am Very Very nice and friendly guy behind the desk. forgot his name. I chose this place because of the coupon i have with Costco This place is by appointment only so call ahead. Once you drop off your car you have to leave and come back later to pick up. There is a 4 seat seater area with coffee machine but they said they don't allow people to sit while their car is being worked on. So call an uber to leave and then come back when your car is ready. well worth it. i'll comeback again for my next appt read more

They are good for most repairs, but when our car air conditioning failed it took three repairs to get it right. In between repairs two and three I took the car to other mechanics for an opinion as to what was wrong and they both said that the replacement compressor was damaged. I went back to 5-Star and they replaced the damaged new compressor on warranty. read more

I've been bringing my car here the past couple years as the prior place I used to go to would always hold my car overnight for a simple oil change service. I just wanted a quick oil change, tire rotation, with multi point inspection where I could drop the car off and pick it up the same day. 5 Star does all that and is usually done in a few hours. Also doesn't hurt I live down the street and can walk there. They also noticed some issues with my car before it got worse (tire treads, headlight lamp faded) and fixed them for a reasonable price. It was time for my wheels to be rotated for my Tesla, and it was nice to be able to come here since they are so close to where I live. As the name suggests, the service is truly five star: reasonably priced, fast service, and kind and generous workers. They were even so kind as to stay a few minutes after closing time so that I could pay for the services and pick up my car, even though they risked being late and paying a late fee for picking up their kids from child care. I came here for tire replacement that I had shipped from Tire Rack. I'm sure these guys could have got the same tires but I am impatient and never asked. I also had my smog test done while my car was there. "No problem!", is the normal response there. Great communication skills. Great manners. Very clean shop, which shows pride in what they do. They also provided a quote on paper before I left which was the same price when I came to pick it up. I got one suggestion for new brake pads which I know are ready for replacement already.
