Last 2 times I went in it was not good at all. Last time I had a bagel with one egg, one slice of bacon broken into 2 pieces, and an unmelted piece of American. Very disappointing after sending people here and supporting them early on. I won't be back. read more

My wife and I ordered our food during a lull. Most of the staff was out back taking a break. Several patrons who came in after us we're served ahead of us while we had to wait for three sandwiches to be made. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. We had the breakfast wraps and they were delicious!! Wow!! Also the staff was/is very friendly. This is a popular spot with a lot of regulars young and old. We were passing through the area and lucked out by finding it. If we lived locally this would be one of our regular spots for sure!! read more

I've visited this place probably around 5 times and each time it was another stupid problem. This most recent time we went because the parking lot of the better bagel shop was packed. So we came in and ordered 3 bagels. Ended up being $22. We will never go there again. NYC prices are lower than that. There was also no air conditioning and the employees had sweat dripping down their foreheads. Pretty gross. read more

***CAUTION*** Bought 6 bagels for $6.54 Not bad. Bought a bagel breakfast sandwich for $4.35 Not bad. Bought 2 "SMALL" containers of butter and cream cheese for $21.50 - OUTRAGEOUS! $34.33 with tax for 6 bagels, 1 sandwich, and 2 small tubs of basic butter and cream cheese. Four television screens on the wall. Only one working and that advertised deli items. Bagels and spreads prices are not posted AT ALL. Cashier did not provide me with a receipt. When I realize that I had just been 'had', I confronted the staff. They pointed to a small sign on the wall stating prices have gone up (or something to that effect). When I challenged them on their outrageous butter and cream cheese prices they showed no remorse at all. Again they point to the sign on the wall. I asked where the prices were listed. The two ladies continued to talk over each other so I got fed up and walked out. As I walked out I mumbled "YELP". Beware! Prices are not posted in the store or on website. They also have bialys which are great! fresh spreads including a favorite walnut raisin. Also serve sandwiches, smoothies, and occasionally have fresh or juice. I'm not down in this area a lot but when I am I always stop here for the best bagels in the area. I wish they stayed open past 3 I'd go out of my way to eat there. but I get it when I can. I found it on my way taking a friend to a doctors appointment and figured while he was in his appointment I'd eat my bagel in the car. Best damn bagel I had ever eaten. They charge you to use credit card and told me they had no change so I couldn't pay cash and still charged me! They wrap sandwich in wax paper than cut it so you are eating tiny pieces of plastic paper. I got a piece of plastic wrap in my cream cheese on the bagel. No thanks! read more

Be careful, I was just way over charged for my food. They have no clue on their prices of the items they sell. They need to get it together. Food is always good but it's the service side that needs help. $16.50 for a bagel w cream cheese, bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, chocolate milk and a piece of cheese cake does not add up to that amount when their prices say otherwise. Learn your prices and stop ripping people off. $4.00 more than I should have paid. read more

Been living in the Poconos for five years now. Missing NY food places. Haven't found anything remotely decent until now. Wifey had the Italian hero and I had the Classic Italian hero. We called them at 8am to see if they had gluten free bagels. Girl on the phone said yes they do, they have all kinds. We drive 10minutes to their place and go to order and the girl behind the count said "I don't know if we have any gluten free bagels" she goes into the back and comes back out and says "no we don't have any" We said are you kidding? I love the food i am frequent customer multiple times a week. I recently have not been going as much. The girls and the owner are awesome and so is the other guy that works there. Though the guy on the grill in the morning is not very pleasant. He always looks upset, never smiles and seems upset if you order a few items. I love when everyone else is there but when he is there it makes you feel like it is problem to order something. I get people get busy and it gets tough. Though to get an attitude at 6:30 in the morning is not really what i have in mind. I do hope he would at least try to engage the customers more or be a little more pleasant i wouldn't mind coming in more. Though after this morning i don't think i will be frequently going there as much. read more
