All the goodies I bought from one trip! Milka (purple package) is absolute the best :)

I haven't been exposed to too much authentic European goodies, especially Eastern European (Balkan). I found this grocery store from a blog online and decided to check it out with one of my coworker from Serbia. It turned out the store is owned by a Serbian and everything is super authentic Serbian! I got so many snacks and were very happy with all of them: - Eurocream: Serbian version of Nutella but 2x more delicious! It's half chocolate, half white chocolate which you can never go wrong with :) - Bananica (?): banana-flavored marshmallow chocolate. Very unique and rich banana flavors. - Ajvar roasted pepper (mild spicy): makes a great spread for bread. Basically is like roasted pepper hummus but without the pea taste and less salty. - Milka (milk chocolate with whole hazelnuts): my FAVORITE brand of chocolate. Really put Hershey's to shame. - Iane: Serbian biscuits. Great with coffee and tea. What I love most about it is that it is not too sweet, very buttery and crispy If you are from Europe or used to live in Europe, this is great to find those authentic, true taste of Europe. If you have never been (like myself!), it is a great place to check out some European flavors.

    They sell Happy Hippo(s)!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Chocolate excites me - shopping for chocolate excites me too and this place excites me because they sell Kinder Chocolate. I have been coming here for years but just went straight to the Kinder goodies - yesterday I had time to spare so I shopped some more. This place is like the delicatessens in New York - the eatery is just next door - the Balkan Grill. Kinder kept me coming back for years and now that my taste buds have evolved I'll be back for the Eastern European foods.

Grilled trout with house lemon garden salad!

It's OK, but nothing special. Very friendly staff. Selection of East European food could be better.

I m writer and gastronomy specialist. This store is clean, not pricy and the products become a good invitation to the Eastern European food.

I had a great experience at Trader Joe's in Old Town and wanted to give a special shoutout to…read moreNathan for the outstanding customer service. I originally came in to make a return, and he processed it very quickly and smoothly with no hassle at all. Later on, I ended up going through his checkout line, and he was just as friendly and helpful. He even took the extra step to make sure the orchid I purchased was packed securely so it would make it home safely. It's small touches like that that really stand out and make a difference. Shopping there felt easy and welcoming, and Nathan made a simple trip to the store feel like a great experience. Customer service is everything at the end of the day, and it means a lot to me to go to a store and receive genuinely good service. Because of that, I will definitely be back. Great job, Trader Joe's, and thank you again to Nathan for the excellent service!

You really can't go wrong with Trader Joe's. The prices are competitive and the food quality is…read moreconsistently good. Most items are Trader Joe's brand, and a lot of them honestly beat big-name brands. The frozen snacks are excellent overall, with only a few misses, and you can't go wrong with the spices, meat, or coffee. One thing I really like is that you can actually ask a crew member to open a snack so you can try it right there. If you don't like it, no worries at all. The produce is fresh, and the staff keeps the store well stocked and easy to shop even if it's crowded. The ambiance feels like a small local grocery store, which makes shopping there more enjoyable. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful, and Trader Joe's easily has the fastest baggers of any grocery store. Depending on what you're making, you might need to stop at a larger store for a few specialty items, but I can usually handle my full weekly grocery run here.
