The products that they are selling in the store are expired. Be very careful and check expiration date on everything you buy. Prices are expensive. The sale women is very aggressive and rude to costumers. It's better to drive 25 min in International market,12 miles rd and have fresh products for less money, bigger selections, good customer service or buy online at Russian food table. read more

The most delicious feta, smoked fish, fresh baked bread and vegetable dips galore. Why aren't you shopping here?!? Ask for help if you need it, she is lovely. Aisles are easily wide enough for my wheelchair. Any paleo folks could find treats for days - meats & cheeses. read more

I still have so much to explore about this market, but I highly rate it as they carry so many items you cannot find elsewhere in Washtenaw County. I love their fresh rye bread. YUM. Also great frozen pierogi, pickled goods, jarred sauces (LOVE the spicy paprika/coriander). They also have wine/beer from mostly eastern Euro. I need to explore more of the cheese and meat counter, but I feel like this will continue to be an adventure for my next handful of visits. read more

Yeah, it's true. I'm a fan. Euro Market is Ann Arbor's Post-Soviet food emporium. If you grew up in the USSR, have parents or grandparents from there, or, like me, just did the student thing in the Ol' Soyuz, you'll find all the tasty classics you crave at this terrific little store. Feeling the need for some sliced sausage to go with that bottle of Stoly you keep in the freezer? They have 20, maybe even 30 different kinds. Want to whip up some khachapuri this weekend? Don't settle for some bad-fit American cheese substitute. Grab some authentic suluguni at Euro Market and get to it! Adjika your thing? How about toasted buckwheat groats for kasha? Cold-pressed sunflower oil from Ukraine? Flavorful rye breads from the Baltics? Pelmeni for miles? Oh, and do you crave those great Russian candy classics? You'll find them all here. Pick up a bottle of Moldovan wine while you're at it and maybe some selyodka to go with that chernyj khleb! They have a wide selection of foods, so you'll have a decent chance of finding that classic you love. The store is steadily busy, so stock turns over regularly and I've never seen any hint of something pushing past its sell-by date. Their offerings are fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. Very small place with not a big selection of things to choose from but what they do have you will not find anywhere else. Awesome find was that they had Kvass, i had been looking for this forever and could not find it and they had 3 different kinds! Awesome find. Good place to keep in mind for that weird hard to find stuff. read more

This grocery is tiny, but as far as I know, it's the only grocery in the area with a selection of Russian specialty foods. They do carry some other ethnic fare, but Russian is the main one. Items you might find here include jars of pickled eggplant, bags of Russian pastries and frozen pierogis. They also have a couple of small deli cases with selections of cheese and meats. Another customer was having some sausages sliced and was buying by the pound when I visited. Other than the deli case, most of the goods are jarred, canned or boxed- there's no fresh produce here. read more

I want to share my experiences about this store with you. I have gone to this store several times since I moved here from Russia. I have heard from other Russians who go to the store that you need to be very careful with fresh products. In fact, I have been told to only buy things after Friday, because they get new products on Fridays. I have had 4 bad experiences. The first two experiences were when I bought bread. When I got home, discovered that the bread was moldy. The third time I had cottage cheese whose expiration date was expired. When I found the expired date at home, all I could do was to throw it away. But what happen the last time has made me so upset. I went to the store on Saturday morning and I ask for two kinds of sausages for my baby. I asked the shop assistance about how fresh the sausages were, because I was buying it for my baby. He told me it was fresh. When I got home I discovered one sausage was slimy and smelly. The next day, Sunday, I was the first customer who came into this store. I brought this sausage with me and let the shop assistance smell it. I said that I wanted my money back and he said NO. He said I can only make an exchange for other products and show me one note on the wall which said we do not return money for any reason or something like this. And, he said they are not responsible for quality! I was so upset! Even in Russia, I never had such a bad experience. When there were problems with quality, they were corrected immediately and quickly in Russia. I don't know why they behaved like this. I understand if I bring something back that I simply don't like, well than I would understand, but this is different. This was bad food, sold to a customer. The thing I didn't like the most was the fact they would not refund my money! Why would I want to exchange bad food, for potentially more bad food??? I am very upset that a store like this can represent my country, Russia. I don't want people in the in USA thinking; "Is this what Russian stores are like?", because not all Russians do business like this! I would not recommend this store to anybody! read more

This store is about the closest thing I've found the plethora of pan-ex-Soviet markets that my former location (Spokane, WA) is gifted with. It doesn't have everything I'm looking for, but it can't be helped, different demography and all. This market is primarily Russian/Ukrainian in product orientation. While small, they have the usual selection of canned goods, pickled mushrooms, fruit syrups, fish (the ubiquitous herring), sausages, deli meats and cheeses. My favorite items here are the frozen samsas (triangular lamb dumplings; highly fragrant but delicious!) and the wonderful sheep-milk feta, which is worth the trip alone if you love stinky cheese. I repeat - this is good feta, ignore the weak feta at the chain groceries and get this one instead if you enjoy strongly-flavored cheeses. One of the few places I've found that locally sells unrefined sunflower oil, I usually come here every couple of months. read more

The deli section at this store is good, I go just for the cheese. However, aside from that it's a small store without a wide selection and most of the food is packaged dried foods like cookies from Russia or something. The service doesn't seem all that great either, as last time I went I had to wait over 10 minutes just to get some cheese because "they were busy" but it could've been just that one time. read more

This store is amazing! I've come from Russia and I miss russian traditional food. How happy I was to find that store. Personnel here is pleasant and always ready to give you advices. The store has products from Eastern Europe - Bulgaria, Georgia, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine and so on. There is an assortment of different products such as salami, sausages, preserves, fish, sweets, dairy products and so on. Moreover, if you can't find something in particular you can try order it.
