My vehicle had been returned to me with no transmission fluid and five quarts of oil poured in on top of the existing oil. I brought the car to Ultimate Car Care for diagnostics, and Hunter did a thorough, careful evaluation. What stood out most was Hunter's integrity. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation or exaggerated the damage, but he didn't. He was completely honest and straightforward, and he explained everything clearly. The Kwik Kar district manager even thanked Hunter personally for being truthful about the car not being damaged. That says a lot about the kind of shop this is. After I declined it took another 20 minutes for my car to be ready. At checkout, I asked if they used Conventional oil. The guy said no and went to ask for help. Then I was told they could order conventional oil but it would cost $50 more. I asked if I now had to stay with synthetic, another guy said I could go back. I was always under the impression once you switch an older vehicle to synthetic oil and run it through your engine you couldn't go back to conventional.
