I want to share how grateful I am for the honesty and professionalism I received from Hunter and the team at Ultimate Car Care. They helped me through a very stressful situation involving a serious service mistake made at another shop. My vehicle had been returned to me with no transmission fluid and five quarts of oil poured in on top of the existing oil. I brought the car to Ultimate Car Care for diagnostics, and Hunter did a thorough, careful evaluation. What stood out most was Hunter's integrity. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation or exaggerated the damage, but he didn't. He was completely honest and straightforward, and he explained everything clearly. The Kwik Kar district manager even thanked Hunter personally for being truthful about the car not being damaged. That says a lot about the kind of shop this is. Ultimate Car Care has also done excellent work for me recently -- they replaced the spark plugs and coils on my Forester, and the car has been running perfectly ever since. Car was dropped off on a Friday night and key left in drop box. First thing Monday morning we called and told them the issue. They completed a full inspection and sent pics of the issues, which was appreciated. I took my Cadillac there for a diagnostic , lack of information,poor customer service by so called service manager. Who was very unprofessional. Lied about the repairs needed to my Cadillac ,charged me 6000 . The service manager who I talked to once at Ultimate car care and never discussed any repairs. Sent me a text about my car,hung up in my face several times. This was after she said my Cadillac would need additional repairs and more money out of pocket. That was never told me ,by owner and the 6000 would take care of all repairs to my Cadillac. That was all a lie to get my money . Ultimate Car Care in the worst car repair to Ever go to. Outstanding customer service Ethan went above and beyond! Driving by and all of a sudden my F150 Lariat 4x4 low coolant light came on. I have never had an issue with my truck. Pulled over into Ultimate Car Care they spent a day and a half diagnosing the issue. I was thinking I would just take it to the Ford House asked how much do I owe you for diagnostic they said nothing we were glad to help. We topped it off with fluid. If you need auto repairs, get them done here!! When I needed my F150 repaired, I asked a few neighboring ranchers and two of them highly recommended this shop. I was hesitant at first because there are 3 towns/cities closer to me than Ultimate Care Care. But I pleasantly discovered Ethan is extremely friendly, thorough in what he does, answers questions with understandable explanations, and cares...BIG TIME...about customer service. When they find an issue, they text you a video and/or picture so you can actually see what's wrong and what they need to repair. I will only use this shop for my vehicles, even though it's about 50 mins from me. read more

Vehicle was leaking power steering fluid on my garage floor so I took in for repair. They told me I had Power steering fluid leaking (which I already had told them) and charged me $104 for telling me what I already knew. Said they needed a few days to develop a repair plan and they would call me. They never called so four days later I stopped in. They had forgotten me and told me they would call. Never called so I stopped back 3 days later. They had forgotten again. I suggested they refund the $104 they charged to tell me what I already knew. No luck with that so my wallet is $104 lighter and I still have the same problem. read more

Reliability at Ulimate Car Care Reliable and friendly! I've used this auto service shop for several of my vehicles and have not had any issues with the maintenance services my vehicles received at this shop. The work is completed in a reasonable time. They did offer a local ride service but I declined. The chairs were comfy enough for me to wait. As a frequent customer, I am now greeted by my name. They are my "go to shop" because they RELIEVE my anxiety of having to deal with the other shops that are high pressure, that charge over-inflated prices in the beginning or that "pad on" unnecessary extras. When they did recommend an additional service such as my brakes, they indeed were correct. Also, I get my vehicle inspections done there. But, that secret is becoming well known as I saw people filing in to get there vehicle inspected. Once again, reliable and friendly! read more

The last three times I have been there something has happened and required me to go back. Took my mom's car there, they forgot to put the oil drip pan back. I went for an oil change and state inspection. The oil plug wasn't put on correctly and leaked most of the oil out. The inspection was never done (found that out when I went to order new sticker). I paid for the inspection so I went back. Now they tell me I needed new struts. Got a second opinion----nope I don't need new struts! If you have to go here, get a second opinion! My advice is don't go there in the first place! You will save time and money! read more

It took very little to get the buzz cut cowboy hat to drop his surface politeness and become verbally abusive and physically threatening when his authority was questioned. This began Yesterday with a simple inspection. After collecting his fee he told me that the inspection was not passed for rear wiper blade and center brake light. After they declined to fix the issue, my Son and I drove immediately to the Auto Zone and replaced the bulb and the Autozone employee installed the wiper blade (for free). We returned only a few minutes later only to be told the inspector had left and would return in an hour. We went back home, returned in an hour and found the inspector still absent. I politely asked the cowboy if he would call to determine when he would return so I would not make another wasted trip. He said "I'm not doing that!" By now the tax office was about to close. I then asked if he would call when the inspector returned and he agreed. He never called that evening or the next morning. I looked up on the Internet the rules for Texas State inspection, the rear wiper is NOT required and only 2 taillights are required. But in any case, it was all fixed. I called and asked if the inspector was there and was told he was. I drove down to the shop and when in and told the cowboy that he was in error for failing me for the rear wiper and the situation went very ugly very fast. With who I presume the owner at his side he laid into me with an expletive laden and angry lecture about how I was to show him respect. He even came out from behind the counter and got in my face. They refused to pass my vehicle without even looking the the corrections - which he called "a piece of crap." He then refunded my inspection fee and told me I was no longer welcome at his shop to which I READILY agreed. I went to Integrity and passed the inspection where the inspector confirmed that the rear wiper was not a failing inspection point (they were great BTW). read more

Avoid this place if you value your money or safety. We've had 2 separate vehicles worked on by this place and they've dropped the ball each time and refuse to make it right. I was charged $30 for fuel and left there with 1/8 of a tank of gas. They kept parts that I ordered and we're NOT installed on the car. They do not check over their work and let us leave the first time with a misadjusted parking brake. We had to have our locking lug nuts cut off of my wife's car after they did brake work and we had to pay for new ones at the tire shop. Meanwhile Israel at the counter tried to tell us we're wrong and will not make this right. They don't even back their own mistakes. I'm a mechanic and if I did work like this I'd be out of a job. I would like to recommend ULTIMATE CAR CARE to anyone needing help with their auto. I am a teacher and I do not have a lot of time nor money. Last time my car broke down in May, my husband took it to the dealership our neighbor used to work. They ripped us off! I am still paying on my credit car for this. I took the car back because the issue was related and "they warranty" their job but, they wanted to charge me $500.00. They were rude and they didn't care at all. I pray about it and I took my car to this awesome place in Little Elm Texas and they fixed my car for less than $200.00 and they did an excellent job. These guys did an awesome job replacing the alternator on my car! They came to my residence and brought a battery in case my battery was dead to try to get it started. They're located near the house in Little Elm which was extra convenient. So I had to get the car towed to their shop which was no problem since I had Roadside Assistance. To make a long story short, my ordeal started around 8:50 am in the morning and by 2:00 pm, I was back in the car driving! They do excellent work, prices are very reasonable, and they even let me post date a check! How cool was that! So big shot out to these guys! read more

I had taken my car to a chain shop in Plano for vibration while driving. The mechanic recommended all four strut assemblies changed as well as left front CV joint replaced. He told me that this will solve my car issue. Well, it did not. The vibration got worsened to the point I almost made my mind to buy a newer car. Fortunately, I took my car to this newly opened shop the last Sat. I thought he would ask me to change car engine mounts or some other engine problem but he immediately diagnosed it to wheel train. He checked my tires and then diagnosed it to left front CV axle replacement. Now for three days, I am driving my car and loving the drive. Very happy with the workmanship of this shop.
