Brought my BMW 335i in for an aftermarket tune. The exhaust had recently started making a loud rattling and Tom and Kevin determined that a spring that works with the exhaust valve had fallen out. I've dealt with European Auto Source for a long time, it's a big disappointment that I am writing this review right now and have given it 1 star. I took my 2014 BMW 335i in on October 2016 to install the rear LCI tail lights, I knew they would do a great job since I have done the same with my previous car with no issues. Last month we had a rainstorm and was driving my car and suddenly my stereo goes out, no sound at all. Radio doesn't work, interior warning chimes don't work, Bluetooth doesn't connect and could not make any phone calls or listen to music on my phone via Bluetooth. I thought this was a blown fuse that needed replacement which was an easy fix. Took the car in to Crevier BMW and they came back to me and I was shocked. Apparently the way European Auto Source wired those LCI tail lights, they ran the wire through the grommet that holds the tail lights in place, and when it rained hard, that caused a water leak into the bottom of my trunk which took out my amplifier, and in order to fix that I had to pay $3,300 to replace my amplifier including labor!! After receiving my car back from Crevier BMW, it clearly stated on the receipt/work order that the issue I had is due to the wiring of the LCI tail lights going through the grommet, they found a water leak and my amplifier was filled with water and therefore the water damaged it. I have tried contacting European Auto Source multiple times and tried to find a friendly resolution to this issue, I have also sent them the work order from Crevier BMW stating the issue. In the end they have refused to take responsibility and refused to work with me to try to come to a fair resolution to my problem that they caused. Customer service is great with them as long as you're paying money to install parts to your car, but I guess when something such as this happens, their poor customer service is what they truly have. The fact that they cannot claim responsibility for their own work that they performed on my car is absolutely disgusting, they have horrible business ethics and I certainly would not want to deal with a company that is claimed "reputable" and has been in business for over a decade. Since they are being uncooperative I have no choice but to start the process of filing a lawsuit against them, I will not be held responsible for paying that enormous amount of money to fix my car when all evidence points back to European Auto Source for their poor service work. read more

I came across European Auto Source because I needed some custom coding done on my BMW Z4. Initially when I emailed Kevin, the response came back relatively fast and we figured out the coding that I needed was more complicated than the typical coding work. Since I have a relatively new BMW Z4, I was a bit concerned that the coding would not take on the newer generation z4. There are plenty of success stories on the internet regarding coding on older generation z4 and not so much on the newer gen, if any. However, Kevin gave me an internet discount for the coding work, and brought in my z4 to give it a try. When I arrived, Kevin immediately greeted me and pulled up my information on the computer. When they pulled my z4 into the bay, the work was way more difficult than the older gen z4. However, this service facility is huge so they have a large team on site to figure things out. The locations of some of the modules were relocated to different areas for the newer gen z4. Nonetheless, it took a while to figure everything else, but the mechanic assured me they will put in the time to do it correctly. True to his words, my z4 took the coding and my z4 is just perfect. Very good work with much patience. While in the lobby, I found brochures for lighting kits, body kits, suspension kits, and rims. Kevin quoted me 19 inch Niche rims for less than $1,000 which is the cheapest for the top quality niche brand. Other places were able to match that price, but they were lower quality knockoff brands. Disclosure: By no means am I bad mouthing anyone because I own my own shop or because I am a EAS competitor. I am a M3 enthusiast just like anyone else who comes to EAS to get their mods done. First off I would like to mention that I found EAS on M3Post.com and I loved their work, quality of parts they carry, and the facility they operate in, its like a Toys r' Rus for people who love mods! Secondly, unfortunately, I did not like my first experience at EAS what so ever. As soon as I walked in, a gentleman by the name of Robert Tan helped me out. I came in to get the "OEM Exhaust mod" done to my new M3, and put on a Macht Schnell drop in air filter. Now, Robert did mention that he will be replacing the perforated pipes inside my OEM muffler with exhaust cores to ensure a proper and cleaner job for $399, I thought to myself "this is pretty damn expensive but I might as well get it done because I drove out 2 hours and they look like they know what they are doing!".. So I agreed to that and 80mm stainless steel exhaust tips which were $250 to give my "mod" a more aggressive look. Two and a half hours later, the car was ready and sitting outside. Robert told me my original oem tips and air filter were wrapped away in my trunk, I said sweet life lets drive! When I reached home, I opened the box where they put my tips and filter and I noticed that the tips were so dirty that they were black?! "these are not my tips, they are way to old looking and I have a new M3 with polished tips!" So I looked at my exhaust and saw that the exhaust isn't mine either! Its way to old looking! Automatically I new I was hustled by EAS and their team, they swapped out my new exhaust for a shitty old exhaust they had laying around and kept my new polished tips as well as my original exhaust! Never did Robert mention that he will be, A. swapping out my one exhaust for a shitty old oem exhaust and tips, B. Never did he mention that since we are keeping your oem exhaust, we will give you a substantial discount and C. Who the hell swaps out a new part for an old part and keeps the new part?? This is called fraud, first class fraud. Anyway, I hit up Robert Tan at European Auto Source and I tell him about what has happened and that they were fully aware of what they were doing because they are not idiots.. He basically came up with a very cleaver excuse saying "we didn't know you wanted to keep your new oem exhaust and have us work on that.." Who the hell in their right mind wants to swap out their new oem exhaust for a shitty old oem exhaust!?" Either way, I am very disappointed with European Auto Source and the way they treat their customers thinking they are naive and stupid not knowing what they are doing to our cars. I feel disrespected as an enthusiast and as a customer who drove out 2 and a half hours to this shop. EAS is awesome. I found them a while ago while they were in Santa Ana after having no luck with any dealerships. They not only fixed my lighting issue, but did my Inspection II service also. They definitely have a top notch facility in Anaheim now, and it is huge, clean, and proper for any BMW enthusiast. I installed my coilvers and bushings at EAS and everything came out perfect, the owners even came out to make sure to greet me and see that everything was to my liking. I have been shopping from EAS for a few years. Recently I ordered an Awron guage for my E92 M3 supercharged build. Tom was great when my first guage was defective (not accepting software updates), but when the replacement gauge arrived cosmetically damaged, Brian accused ME of damaging the guage! Tom was CCed on Brians email response and was compliant with that accusation. I will NEVER order from EAS again. It is sad to see Tom would allow such poor customer service.
