I spent over $160 on a manicure and pedicure. Within five minutes of leaving, I noticed one nail had a very obvious spot with almost no polish. It was a simple fix, so I went right back. When I returned, the the lady she acted as she is the owner on the phone. I calmly asked if my tech or any available tech could quickly fix one nail. Instead, I was told the technician had already left, that she was on an call and that absolutely no one would fix it. I was told to come back the next day. There were other technicians present, but no effort was made to help or offer any solution. I was left feeling dismissed, as if once they had my money, my satisfaction didn't matter. The mistake itself was minor. The complete lack of customer care was not. I will never return, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. This is the 4th salon that I've tried in Naples in the 5.5 years that I've lived here. It was recommended by my Hair Stylist, as I shared with her my disappointment in finding someone to do dip manicures that aren't thick. The dip manicures I've had from Sonny have been totally amazing, and very unique. I got an ombre gel manicure. The machine was not charged, the ombre is spotted and all over my skin. The tech didn't take it off my skin before curing. Every nail has bubbles from the gel/acetone mix in the machine. The gel was not brought up to the edge of my nails. Nor, and most unbelievable, was any prep done of my cuticles/hangnails. One star just so I can post about my experience today. I went in for a quick nail change on my toes because I had 40 minutes to get to an appointment across the street, wearing sandals. 35 minutes and $70 later, I made it to my appointment on time. Just climbed in the bed and half of my toenails are catching on my bed sheets . I was charged $60 because they did gel polish, which was fine because it would dry fast enough for my shoes. I tipped $10, and that is more than the guy deserved for the entire job. I don't know his name, I don't think it matters because somebody else shouted out $20 extra for gel! This is a shop issue. I have very sensitive cuticles and every nail salon I went to prior would nick my skin and cause bleeding. I have been to a couple different techs here at European Nails and everyone did a great job. They listened to me when I asked to go slower and my nail color always looks professional. Hannah is my go to but if you are looking for a special design, I have seen Sonnys work and it is amazing. My daughter just came from this location and showed them a picture of what she wanted. Their was a communication issues as English is not the first language how ever the lady was very nice to my daughter. She was given dip not acrylic like she asked. They she wanted a French tip look and they did the entire nail 1 color. Just over all not at all what she wanted. Very disappointing. I'm pleased with European Nails & Spa. It's conveniently located at pine ridge and Livingston road. It's next to many businesses that I frequent, like Starbucks, Organically Twisted, and Burn Boot camp. They are available for walk in or scheduled appointments. Their staff are all good, which is nice so you don't have to worry about the quality of your manicure or pedicure. I've had a bunch of pedicures here and am always satisfied with the result. It's relaxing too, and they have a spa menu in case you want more than just a basic pedicure. They also offer organic pedicures, which is a big plus! They pass grinder from person to person, not disinfecting between. Clippers, sponges, nail shapers, etc all used person to person. I have been to the salon twice, and Kelly has been amazing both times! She did my pedicure the first time, but had another client so I was turned over to someone else for the dip manicure. She left me with very thick nails and did little to shape them. The second time, Kelly did my nails and really took her time and special care to shape and taper the ends. I will definitely always go to her now! As with all salons, you have to find your "person!" The salon itself is also very clean and attractive. read more

I went in for a manicure and pedicure. Spent 145.00 for both plus generous tips. Had gel nails put on my fingers and they immediately chipped. I went back in the next day and had them fixed. Once again they were chipping, but I did not have time to go back and have them fixed AGAIN because I was going out of town. The owner assured me he would fix this situation and to just come in when I got back. Long story short, I went back in when I got home, had them fixed and he charged me $55 plus tip. I refused to pay and It got ugly. The Customer service is terrible. The owner made some reference that he could not stay afloat if he did not charge me. I was really hoping to make this my new Nail Salon, but with this customer service I will not go back. Besides all this, salon is dirty, and barely has any color choices. there are So many nail salons around this area. Don't waste your time on this one. Got a simple pedicure and paid the extra $20 dollars for European pedicure. she did a great job cutting my nails and making sure skin around them was all cleaned up, but she spent so much time doing that that she then rushed the rest of the "European" part of the pedicure. She chose to paint my red toes with my white flip flops on and got some of the red polish on my shoes and didn't bother to get it off. After she was done she left me sitting in the chair to dry, and went to help another customer so I got up myself after 20 minutes of not knowing if I was okay to get up. Then had to wait longer as my sisters toes were messed up and they tried to fix it multiple times!! After all this waiting I still proceeded with caution and after 4 hours figured it was safe to touch then and boy was I wrong. Now I am left with a goupy mess and having to remove all the polish. $65 WASTED along with a good few hours of my life. I would not recommend. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I also hate wasting my money on something that is suppose to not only be fun, but make me feel pampered and pretty after! Not angry and ugly! read more

Worst gel manicure I've ever had. My nails usually last 3-4 weeks after a hell French manicure before having to do it again, and only because the color grew out, not due to chipping. One nail chipped after one week. Had to go in to get it fixed. The woman who fixed it had a horrible attitude. One week later, 5 more nails chipped. My nails are a total mess. No point in going back there to fix the situation. $75 down the drain. Now I have to get all my nails redone (SOMEWHERE ELSE). Total disappointment. read more

Friend and I sat down for two 80.00 pedicures. It was a wait and we know we walked in without appointments but if you can't take us, don't! I was done first and my friend sat beside me In her chair the entire time. The tech said " I am just going to do two #2 pedicures on both of you" which would have cost less. I have never had a pedicure result so poorly. I enjoyed the service while I visited this salon, however, my nail polish lasted maybe 2 days. I typically get a pedicure once a month and never have had issues with regular polish. However, the nail polish from this salon came off almost immediately. The tech clearly did not properly clean my toe nails prior to putting on the polish. It peeled right off within days.
