My Mercedes Benz had several issues which the dealer quoted a price beyond the remaining value of the car! That's ridiculous! After some research, I found this shop which is such a blessing! The service is great, reasonable quote, I've driven for a month, no complaints! I'm so happy to have my car back! I was away for an out of state trip, the service has been done when I came back. Visited ER last week for my 645's winter service inc. NYS inspection, oil change, transmission fluid service and an audio system inspection. As always, the work was excellent and done in a timely manner. Oleg advised that the audio system would be a very expensive repair, advised against it and only charged a small amount for the diagnostic work. never go to these people!! they will rob you!! they charged me over and over! all to never fix my vehicle! first bill was 4,500 to do timing chain job and few other things mind you they never even changed the cam chaft sensor, witch is part of a timing job on a audi!! then continued to charge me hundreds of dollars more every time i came back with the same problem to ultimately never fix the problem!! oleg(head mechanic) does not know how to diagnose a car unless there is a check engine light or it is something he can plug into a computer and tell him what to fix !! i end up paying $5,000+ for the car to still run like @?$!#... so i brought my audi to hackels foreign car service on central ave, they fixxed the car within a hour and it ended up being a 160$ camshaft sensor that they didnt even charge me to put in and that euro had told me they already fixed!! go to hackels dont waist your time or money at this ghetto ass place!! and if your car is there getting fixed part by part go get your car asap and get a second opinion!! read more

UPDATE April 2022: Reduced from 5 Stars to 1 Star. I can no longer recommend this business. I'll keep this review to the facts: Brought my E9x BMW in for an oscillating vibration from right rear wheel. Get a text the next day from Marina stating the vehicle would not start. She quoted $1,350+ tax to replace the starter motor. No mention of the vibration issue... When pressed, Marina stated the rear brakes needed to be replaced (pads & rotors). Problem is, the rear brakes were recently replaced.... oops. Caught in a lie. Marina's story kept changing as I pressed her on the issue. Too sketchy. Showed up in person the following day to have the vehicle removed from European Repairs and towed to a competent, trustworthy independent BMW shop. Long story short, the competent BMW mechanic diagnosed the starting issue as a faulty engine ground cable. Total cost of repair (tax included), just over $200. As for the rear brakes? Parking brake needed adjustment and RR caliper was intermittently sticking. European Repairs is no longer a trustworthy place to do business. Marina lacks any semblance of integrity and will lie to your face. If you've made it this far, do yourself a favor: take your vehicle elsewhere. read more

Worste nightmare shop of horrors .. I would be worried to leave your vehicle with a serial rip off artisan .. First red flag should be the price being alot cheaper then other shops .. notice how intentive and responsive the shop is when u are calling for info and deciding to trust these strangers with your valued property .. and after they have your vehicle it's almost nearly impossible to reach ... the graveyard of high end vehicles decaying in their parking lot should be another red flag ... I could right a book with pics of receipts and video of confronting these cons ... in the end I paid 1500 to the shop European repairs To install a 700 clutch i paid for and they did not put any transmission fluid back into the car after .. i drove it home thinking i paid them to do a professional job and it died on the way home destroyed my car ... they told me to tow it back and i figured if they did something wrong they would see it and fix it but instead they made comments about how my car had a oil leak and..that made me uncomfortable felt like they were trying to blame me in a suttle way .. so I called the next buisness day to see what was next but I also called a tow truck to pick up and deliver the car to a audi dealership where I would pay full price for top quality no bs and possibly they could document what went wrong ... that costed me 9500.00 in dmg parts new transmission and clutch .. flywheel.. they killed my car r.i.p. audi a3s read more

I wanted you to check out the car (Mercedes 230S) before I buy it and paid $100 for your service. Your report about the car came back fairly positive. Now I am stuck with a laundry list of expensive repairs as there are: 1. hydraulic clutch system leaking 2. bondo and rust in rocker panels, trunk lid 3. engine blows blue smoke due to bad valves or piston rings 4. carburetor needs to be rebuild, at mid range engines runs jerky due to carb drawing side air causing the mixture to be too lean. 5. roof has a bunch of dents and is depressed in the middle. Somebody probably transported something heavy on the roof and damaged it. I am from out of town and I paid you to check the car out for me. Your report mentioned none of these problems. Oleg and his crew did a great job repairing my 1990 BMW! They know their stuff and do quality work at a very reasonable price. I've been once and it all went very well. Simple stuff--oil change, brake fluid change and state inspection--but it was all done well and quickly, and they charged a good bit less than the dealer. I had a great first experience bringing in my old 2001 BMW. It had several issues including an all new suspension. Oleg was thorough in his diagnosis and even offered other recommended repairs. I was given options for OEM parts or quality German parts. They were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with from start to finish. Stay away from this place. They over bill hours for repairs. They tried to charge me 26 hours of labor for repairs. I was given an estimate at exactly 12:46pm, told they needed to order parts that would be there the next day by the morning. So I'm not sure if someone was going to work on my car all night long but it was supposed to be ready by the next day by 5pm. Just doesn't add up!! They also charge for every single nut and bolt they use to fix your car. I have had work done previously without any problems but now it seems as if things have changed and they are padding the labor hours drastically. Just be careful!! read more

Well, once again Oleg came through for me and my beloved 1999 BMW Z3. BIG TIME! After failing to pass its yearly inspection based on a couple of failed "codes" I got lazy and instead of driving the 35 miles or so up to Albany from Hudson I took it to the closest foreign car "repair" (notice quotation marks) where they held the car for two weeks and then told me there were many MANY other repairs required to pass inspection. Total cost would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $3500 to $4000. By the time I retrieved the car from the neighborhood the car was completely dead and they said I needed a new battery; the very same battery I had bought from European Auto Repairs only a few months earlier where they had diagnosed another minor problem. Anyway lesson learned; go see OLEG and stick with OLEG. The problems were diagnosed quickly and fixed at a cost that was less than half of the close by shop. Confidence in him and his team does not waver. I know very little about cars foreign or domestic and I have complete faith that OLEG is honest fair and above all reliable. read more

Beware of this deceptive automotive shop . Based on an ad on a local magazine advertising lower car repair costs than the dealer, I took one of my European made cars to this shop. It advertised lower labor rates than the dealer and original OEM parts and same diagnostic equipment as the dealer. Not a difficult decision to make on giving it a try. Originally I was content with the repairs performed since it was 20 to 30% lower than the dealer. Based on the latter, I decided to take my second European car there as I had hit a big pothole in the city on the front left side. The driving did not feel right. European Repairs diagnosed the front right side was bent and needed to be sent out to another party to straighten it up. I was surprised since the left side wheel/rim was the one I hit the pothole with and felt was out of line but felt that the shop personnel were the experts and gave the OK to fix. After a few days passed I picked up the car and the driving was same or worse than before on the left side front wheel. Took it back explaining my concerns to the owner who stated that he would look into it and let me know. Not hearing from them for a few days, I left several telephone messages asking status but no return calls received. Showed up personally and saw my car "abandoned" on the lot completely ignored and covered in snow. Finally the owner stated that the problem was the shifting of the belt inside the tire "possibly due to hitting a pothole or going over a curb" (wasn't that the reason I had taken the car there?) and needed to purchase new tires. He made sure to state that the issue was the tire since the provided front-end alignment chart was fine and left front rim straightening had been necessary. They would not show me evidence of an outside order for a wheel/rim straightening. Curiously, the assistant later told me that on discussing the issue with the owner, the left front rim was the culprit. Based on above, I questioned the owner as to the reason(s) he had not originally diagnosed the new found issue to which he admitted that he had not test-drive the car after the original repair. Based on the no return calls from them, and the owner's and assistant's contradictory answers, on which wheel was the one repaired, I grew suspicious of the whole story and their real intentions/deception intentions. Before leaving I made myself clear to the owner that I had grown hardly suspicious on their service, their poor handling of repairs and the after service process to which I reserved the right to contest their work. Took the car, which I should have done from the first place, to the tire specialist and they diagnosed the tire, which had been switched to the right front side, was faulty and no signs of any rim straightening having been done on any of the rims. They re-balance all the tires and no more issues. No charge. I also noticed that the In/Out odometer readings on the invoice were higher than what it read on dashboard. In addition, some of the repairs on my first car are re-surfacing after 9 months, which was told, are typical when no drive testing has been done after the repairs. After what I went through, would not take the car back there. read more
