She has an aggressive nurse who has been incredibly rude and has an arbitrary policy for late arrivals - I can't tell if it's 5 minutes or 10, but I've been in both scenarios and there is no grace period in her mind for a downtown office. They were able to get me in a couple of weeks. I didn't have to wait long. There is a $25.00 fee for new patients (non refundable) which I understand incase of no shows. They sent me a questionnaire and health info information to fill out online so I didn't have to do it at the office. Very easy and quick. This place is pretty big, not only do they do dermatology, it's also a place they do Botox and other cosmetic procedures. It's so clean and the staff is attentive/ super friendly. My dermatologist was Emi Dougherty, CNP - Certified Nurse Practitioner. She was very patient and answered all my questions. They prescribed me Opzelura cream for my eczema. It's worker so far and I scheduled another appointment for follow up and skin test. Overall I am satisfied with my visit and recommend coming here.

However, the way I was treated by the office was beyond unacceptable. I've been a loyal client since COVID, long before the office was even built. I've done the VIP facial membership, peels, and other services. Over the years, I've been canceled on numerous times--sometimes multiple times for the same appointment, even last minute--and I've always been understanding and flexible. On the rare occasions I've had to cancel, including last-minute due to illness, I've paid the full appointment price plus tip without complaint. While Amanda was on leave, I was booked with a newer esthetician (who I believe also handles administrative work and bookings). She performed the worst facial I've ever had--including failing to even power on the Bioloft machine. I kindly informed Renee, the owner, but still paid in full and was not even offered a replacement service. Recently, I've been dealing with serious health issues, including possible lymphoma/breast cancer. I woke up the morning of my scheduled appointment with a 103.6 fever. I immediately called, texted, and emailed the office. Rather than being met with compassion, I was met with rudeness and told I would be charged the full amount because I've had too many same-day cancellations. I even offered to come in sick to avoid the charge, which was declined. I strongly suspect the same esthetician who botched my facial was the one responding anonymously through the office text, as they avoid accountability by using no names or signatures. When I informed them I wanted to cancel my membership due to the poor treatment, they simply replied that it was 'for the best.' They then continued to antagonize me via text, even after I asked for all communication to cease. To make matters worse, they took my $150 membership credit for the month and canceled me without providing the service. After years of loyalty, it became clear they didn't value me as a client--likely because I don't fill my face with Botox and filler like their higher-paying Montgomery clientele. I also don't purchase their overpriced skincare, but I did invest in regular facials, massages with natural upgrades, and referred many new clients their way. Apparently, that loyalty meant nothing. If you're looking for a place that values relationships and treats all clients with respect--not just the ones spending big bucks--do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I had another more experienced stylist for the straightening. It was confusing from the get go. They were talking about not having the instructions for the product they were gonna use. Anyway I have never been in such an awful situation at any salon. The stylist insisted that she had the right product. I knew it was not what was used. To make a long story short. When the stylist went to dry my hair , I was turned around so I was unable to see the back. Here I spent 90.00 including tip to get home and after waiting 3 days I washed my hair and it has all the strong waves , it did not take at all. She had only let the solution on 3 min after applying it. I was very upset cuz you can't just get it done again and my hair looked awful and I had to save to pay for that. She was way more expensive than the other stylist since she was there 6 years. Her cut seemed good. I had went to Beauty School years ago in Miami Florida so I know the process was wrong and I tried to tell Michael this solution needs to stay in my hair way longer to straighten it. He tried to tell her to leave it on longer when the Blonde stylist in the far right corner yelled just leave it on overriding Michael. Her chair is back in the far right . I ended up calling Michael 4 days after i washed and saw my hair all with my deep waves in the back still that I cannot control in the Summer at all. He said he could give a conditioner since it was very damaged. I told him I have a great conditioner at home. So I hung up and tried to call back my stylist hoping I could get some money back since my hair was not straightened at all. Here Mike answered and I told him who I was and I wanted to take to my stylist . He ended up extremely angry and just said I offered you a condition treatment so I just hung up. If I ever in any profession, as in a stylist , I would have offered a little money back. 30 .00 or so and I would have felt respected and understood tgat my hair was gonna even be harder to work with . So I'm sad I really liked Michael and was so thankful for their pricing and he was always gracious. So I'm sorry to have written this review but you have to know what you are doing when giving this type of service.
