I am thankful to have found Raj at Skintastic Studio! I have been doing some research on yelp because the last place I tried in Vegas did not turn out so great for my brows. I had a great experience today. My brows are happy and so is my forehead. I usually just get my brows threaded but she asked me if I'd like to get my forehead done as well because it helps makeup to go on smoother. Sure, why not? Lol. I want to report this place. I had three sessions all together and Raj was very welcoming and I noticed a significant improvement of the condition of my skin. She was giving me a magical "Indian cream" in a little container, claiming that is is 100% organic doesn't have any chemicals. After my third facial she kept telling me that this cream is not available, she is waiting more being sent to her from India. In about hour after a facial my face turned completely swollen and red, rash started spreading like an allergic reaction. I wrote Raj, asking if there were any STEROIDS in any cosmetics that she was using on me. She confirmed-no. I stressed that I am allergic to the steroids and I need to know right away. She said "no". I have everything in writing. My dermatologist took a magical cream to the expertise. It turns out that this cream contains NYSTATIN which is a STEROID!! Please, be aware that this specialist. She is clearly mutilating her customers. Raj, I am asking for a REFUND for my last session as I spend twice as much for a dermatologist and al other tests just to be safe. I hadn't gone for a facial since I moved to Vegas so I went on Yelp. Raj has great reviews so I called this morning and was able to get in for an appointment. My skin is really dry and that was my main concern. She asked lots of questions and gave a great facial. The creams were light and smelled nice. The bed was warm and comfortable. She made some suggestions which I'm going to try so that my skin won't be so dry. I will definitely be back. read more

Just had my Brazilian wax at this studio today. Raj was fast, efficient, and very friendly. She uses the soft wax vs. the hard wax so yep, it took less than 10 minutes. The last time I had a Brazilian wax was when I was at 13 weeks preggo and boy was it more painful than prior and pre-pregnancy. The esthetician used hard wax and she mentioned that due to the changing of hormones, I may be more sensitive and hence, prone to more pain. Now at 19 weeks preggo, I came in expecting the worse, but it was quite painless! Raj also threaded my eyebrows, which I typically go to another threader to get it done. Now that I found Raj at Skintastic studio, it's a one stop shop to get my grooming done. Highly recommended to everyone! read more

Spread, apply, breathe, RIPPP -- ouch! That's how a typical brazilian wax goes down. No pun intended. I am bad at maintenance and consistency, so sometimes that can mean a task fit for a weed wacker rather than a waxer. I am also a groupon groupie, so I love flash sales on top of groupons. (Hello $10-$13 waxes!) Skintastic Studio is actually just a single room inside Canyon Falls Spa+Salon and there's only one lady that does the waxing, Raj. When making an appointment, be sure to leave a voicemail as its her personal cell phone. Also, when you do your undressing, she stays in the room with you, but the lights are dim enough so that it's not as awkward as you think. There are no prep wipes either, so if you're self-conscious, do a little check in the bathroom beforehand. The wax literally took 5 minutes. It's the fastest Brazilian I've had. I had a lot of hair, so it was also the one that hurt the most. I noticed she didn't do any tweezing of strays like other waxers tend to do. At the end, she applied grape seed oil and powder, but I'd stay away from the powder as I wasn't sure if it contained talc or not. (Talc=bad for you) I wouldn't say this is my favorite waxing place in town, but Raj was definitely efficient, friendly, and didn't force too much conversation. I was in and out in no time. read more

Raj was so sweet and super fast! Her studio is located inside Canyon Falls suite 4. This building has several other studios and businesses inside and at first it's a little tricky to find the correct suite, but check the map at the front desk as you walk in and you'll be able to find it easily. She definitely will work with you as far as walk in availability if possible. I cant be sure why another review says otherwise. I arrived nearly 45 min before my scheduled appointment and she was able to squeeze me in with no problems. Very efficient and thorough service. I will admit that I can be very picky and particular with my results and I really appreciate her attention to detail. I got exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much! read more

Absolutely hands down one of the best facials I've had! Raj has the perfect pressure in her facial massage as well as the products top brands! I felt so clean and rejuvenated! I'm leaving a 1 star for now, I made an appointment with them about a week in advance and have called multiple times to confirm my appointment, not one single answer. My appointment is at 3:30 today and I have called about 3 times so far. I left a message the other day with my name and number, still no call back. I was thinking of switching places but still wanted to give them a shot. It is me and my sister getting a facial so I wanted to make sure we could both go at the same time, that's why I've been calling but I havent gotten one single answer. This is pretty horrible customer service, I really hope this gets stepped up by the time I go in today..... Update. I ended up not going at all, I had to cancel my appointment because when they finally called me 1 hour before my appointment I was told that I could get my facial but my sister would have to wait until allot later since they only have one esthetician. I probably won't go to this place since I didn't receive a call back until the day of my appointment besides the fact that I called multiple times prior to negotiate a possible update in reservation single my sister was coming so she could go immediately after me. read more

I have been getting Brazilian waxes for 10 years EVERY MONTH. I can say her technique is the least painful however she lacks appropriate post wax cremes and oils. Baby or mineral oil should not be used on freshly waxed skin. She's a very nice lady you can text for appointments. If looking to buy a Groupon, or just get waxed, make sure you clarify what a "Brazilian Wax" includes because she may try to convince you it does not include your entire vagina. Raj is a super nice woman who seems to honestly care about her customers. I like the fact that she checks in with me every few weeks. read more

I just had a life changing experience with Raj!! First I'll say that she gave me one the best facials I've ever had. I could feel and see an immediate difference. Absolutely amazing! Now on to the life changing part, ladies, listen up!! I'm a product of over plucking my eyebrows from the early 90's and unfortunately they've never gown back the same, they have no shape and they're patchy like a mangy ally cat. That being said I've just settled into my routine of having to draw on my brows every day for the last 20 years and just accepting that's how it will always be. Raj is a miracle worker. In one session she shaped my brows by threading them and tinted them, then told me that if I stick to the plan in about a year I will have my eyebrows back. They already look sooooo much better!!!! My mind is blown! I'm so excited to have found Raj and so looking forward to my future appts with her, I have no doubt she will take years off my skin and give me back the brows I so long ago destroyed. This place is AMAZING. Raj did an amazing job with my wax and my eyebrows. It was almost painless and she made it go by so smooth with the conversation. RAJ is absolutely amazing at literally everything. From facials, to eye brow threading, waxing, eyelash tinting, eyelash lifting. She makes me feel absolutely stunning every time I see her. She is genuine and actually cares about her clients. It is SO hard to find someone like that especially in Las Vegas. She doesn't push products, gives her personal opinion, and in general a sweetheart. SHE can do it all. She noticed my face was breaking out and gave me some cream JUST to help me! No one has ever done that for me before. Also her services she is fast but the quality of the services always comes out perfect. The shaping itself came out really nice -- I actually loved how my brows looked in the end. Clean, defined, and exactly the look I was going for. However, my main concern was with the tinting process. I was told the tint would be left on for about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30 minutes without any heads up or explanation. During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.
