Niki Z is the only waxer I will go to and HIGHLY recommend her. I have been a client of hers since I first met her years ago when she worked at the Merrick location and followed her when she started working at the Levittown location. Anyone who has written a less than spectacular review about her is off their rocker. I've been getting waxed at EWC for 7 years and have had multiple waxers over the years. Niki by far has been the most friendly, genuine and caring waxer that I've had. She is one of their top waxers and does an absolute fabulous job. She's quick, thorough and I don't feel any discomfort when I get waxed by her. I get a Brazilian, which trust me, can vary in pain levels depending on who waxes you, but Niki makes it a breeze. Our conversations are great and she is always so professional and understanding. I have had to last minute cancel or change appointments which I know is such a bummer (I am a hair stylist, so I know the feels), but she has never given me a hard time about it and I appreciate that. I recently moved to Queens, almost 40 minutes away, and I still make the trip to see Niki. With all this said, make sure to book your next service with Niki!! And side note - the front desk ladies are all great, so not sure why people in their reviews are speaking negatively about them. They do a fantastic job of checking me in right away and at the end of the service always make sure to ask how my experience was, offer to pre-book, update me on my package and any specials they are having. Would you rather them just say nothing and rush you out? Yeah, didn't think so. I have never had product pushed on me either like I see people saying. If anything, I have been given free samples to try out new products which is great because I love trying products out if possible before purchasing . Once I moved out to Long Island, I worried about finding my new EWC girl and I shouldn't been because this location has so many great ones! Ive tried 3 girls and they're all great. in general the franchise has recently raised their prices but I still don't give up my Brazilians for any other location. read more

I scheduled my first bikini wax the day before I left for Bermuda. I had never gotten a Brazilian before, but after hearing so many of my coworkers ditching their razors for waxing, I had to try it. I took a Motrin and my friend Jess with me in hopes of having some distraction from the pain I anticipated. Let me tell you - it wasn't that bad! All that anxiety for nothing! European wax center uses a thick black wax that only grabs the hair, not the skin, so the pain is a lot less than you would imagine and as soon as it's pulled, no after-throbbing or soreness. It was so professional, clean, quick, and easy. Teresa also has a great personality and welcoming nature that could put anyone at ease. I've already recommended it/her to ALL of my friends and coworkers. And the hair grows back so thin, light, and smooth - some don't even grow back! The front desk staff at the Levittown location is absolutely amazing! Not only are they personable and friendly, they provide a modern day white glove service compared to other locations I've been too. Most locations go off a script when checking guests in and out. I've been a customer here since 2015 and I used to brag how much of a pleasure their waxers and front desk people are to deal with. It still holds true to their friendly and knowledgeable waxers. Lately the front desk has seemed to be very disorganized and sloppy. I no longer receive reminder calls which I find very helpful. One girl had told me they also email you your appointment and I've never received an email from EWC in the four years I've been a customer here. I also had my phone number confirmed twice. I had called yesterday to confirm for today and their computer had me down that I canceled already when I didn't! I'm not sure what's going on but someone somewhere is messing up and it's getting inconvenient. read more

Came here May 13 right before vacation! Amazing, professional and comfortable experience all around. I had a bikini, leg, armpit and lip waxing. Noelle was totally professional and approachable. I was totally at ease during the entire process. I came here based on reviews and was not disappointed at all! The waxing method they use is SO much less painful than traditional waxing. I decided to walk in last week for a first time Brazilian wax. When I walked in, the lobby was full of guests and I thought I would not be able to get an appointment. I went to the girls at the front desk and they reassured me that although they were busy, it would only be a few mins. They were very friendly and reassuring when I told them how nervous I was. Definitely put me a little bit more at ease. They made the situation much lighter wit their positive attitudes and fun senses of humor. After about only 5 mins, my waxer Linda came out to get me. Linda was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I was impressed with how smooth was skin was after the was was finished. Not a hair in sight! I went for my first time last week. The people where nice and after the lip was I was told to keep keep applying cream to my upper lip during the day which had never happened to me. As the day went on I noticed my lip was burned. I've been going to European wax Center for about 3-4 years so I would generally consider myself fairly knowledgable when it comes to how well the wax removes my hair. Especially considering that I wax regularly and rarely ever miss an appointment. I came here a few weeks ago because I was in the area and I was unable to make my appointment at my regular waxer (different location). They scheduled me with a waxer named Linda. This by far had to be one of the worst wax experiences I've ever had. Not only was it painful, half the hair I had gone to wax was still there! My underarms especially were sore and felt bruised for two days. Normally when I come to get waxed it's quick painless and once I'm out the door I forget I even got it done. Not this time. And to top it off I had a nice little scab left from where a piece of my skin was ripped off. I'm so disappointed with this location. My waxer Linda did not exhibit any of the professionalism I've come to see from waxers I've previously been to. Over the course of 3-4 years I've gone to quite a few. I know some locations have good waxers and not so good ones, people who are in training and whatnot, but this was horrible. The only reason I'm giving this location 1 star is because It doesn't let you give zero. I started going to EWC at the recommendation of a friend. I got my eyebrows done for free as a first time customer! I loved the signature wax - I don't get as red as I used to with nail salon wax. It's also great to see the waxers using gloves and there is no "double dipping!" Very hygienic! Makes me feel good! I see Ivennia every two weeks and she is wonderful! Love the service I get at EWC! I come here for my Brazilian waxes about once a month. I absolutely love my LET and I prefer to see her if/when I can. Noelle is absolutely amazing. She has such a gentle touch so it barely hurts. and it's a Brazilian so it's a miracle that it doesn't! I've had waxers pull and rip and burn me, but with Noelle, I barely feel any pain! Even if there are some stubborn hairs, she'll take to the tweezers to make sure you walk out of there happy. I have been coming to this location for about two years and I haven't had any issues, they are always accommodating. I've had to cancel at times due to work but they always try their best to give me the best available time slots. I love my girl Crissy, have been with the her for two years. She's awesome, always makes it a pleasant time because believe it I still get nervous about my Brazilian. As much as I loved how quickly I was able to organize an appointment and Crissy was so nice and very fun to talk to, my skin sadly had a reaction to the signature wax that European wax center has. I've had my brows waxed at other places and been left with smooth skin. However, my first time here I am covered in pimples all over my brow area just a few hours after the wax. I am unsure how or why this happened. The place is very nice, I just don't know if I'll be returning due to the wax reaction. read more
