I can't say enough good things about my experience at Feel Well Spa in Wantagh. I had a deep tissue massage with Tom, and it was honestly the best massage I've ever had. Tom is incredibly skilled and knew exactly how to work out years of tension without making the experience uncomfortable. He checked in throughout the session to make sure the pressure was right and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and moving better than I have in a long time. The spa itself is clean, peaceful, and welcoming, and the staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I've never had a facial where my face did not go out afterwards I felt that I didn't like that she used tissue for all the extractions. I know around the nose area they like to use tissue, but she was struggling trying to get blackhead out. They were that bad I know my face I'm 55 years old. I've been having facial since I'm 15. I had no glow she didn't leave a mask on. She didn't use a brush to do anything. It took about 20 minutes with extractions it hurt, but I didn't say anything. I was a trooper. This was the worst facial and when I get home later, I'm going to leave a one star yelp review because I cannot believe my face has no glow it's dry. I'm not allergic to anything on my face. She said she use some aloe thing the worst facial I've ever had in my life. The worst my lips were growing because she put a whole bunch of lip, Vaseline or whatever that was but the worst facial and I will be leaving off horrible review. She said she came from the other store the other location in Hicksville, but it's not busy. She was not supposed to be doing my facial someone else was supposed to be doing my facial. I believe it was Fiona. The massage was good. It was OK. It wasn't the best. It wasn't the worst. I'm not reading the massage I'm reading the facial absolutely horrible. I cannot believe how dry my skin is. How when I got into the car what the hell just happened here no glow nothing nothing horrible my skin is so dry now. I've never had dry skin after a facial. read more

My whole experience was great. You're always warmly greeted as soon as you arrive, and the waiting room is very large and comfortable. The front desk was kind and knowledgeable. They greeted me and explained the way the appointment would work and answered any questions I had. When I made the appointment for the trigger point injections the nurse practitioner explained everything in detail. She was kind and gentle. I went back for a massage with Kathy and that had to have been the best massage I've ever had in my life. She addressed my problem areas with special care and it was clear she had a vast knowledge in how to get to the muscles that were bothering me. The place smells great and it was clean. Just an update: Waxing is consistently good, front desk is always friendly. This place remains the down to earth and relaxing. Took a trip on the wild side and got a lash lift recently. It was an awkward process, uncomfortable and made my eyes sting. I suppose I am sensitive to the perm solution. Also, one eye came out amazing while the other is over processed with some lashes that curl under (think backwards C) that were poking me for weeks, while other lashes are like a J and stick straight up. Not loving it, but maybe lash lifts aren't for me. read more

I love feel well spa for massages- I've been there several times now and it's the only place I go. Last time I went there though I didn't have the best experience. Joey just wasn't my vibe and not a good match for me. Started off by walking into the room without knocking while I was still getting changed. Then talked the whole time while I was trying to relax. Small talk, dumb jokes, just annoying and would not stop. I don't know who likes to talk the whole time while getting a massage, but not me. Lastly, this is more of a personal issue, but I feel no matter what time of day I come into the salon, whoever works on me has just eaten a meal and I have to hold my breath because of the odor being exhaled directly into my face. Overall, I think that the salon is conveniently located, and appears to be beautiful- the staff is very kind, but sanitation practices are not consistent at all.

I knew that EWC was going to invest in the most new and highest advanced technology available for laser. OH MY GOSH, I cannot tell you how much it always hurt to get a massage. I already feel awkward having someone touch me, which makes me tense up, and then they press harder to get rid of the tension which just makes me more tense! Pretty soon I'm just counting the minutes until it is over. I always thought pain was just part of the massage experience and never understood why people paid good money for one. I wasn't about to pay for one, but my ex-wife bought me a gift certificate a few months ago and told me this place was good. I kept putting it off because it gave me so much anxiety. Yes... my ex-wife coerced me into getting a professional massage after repeatedly refusing to touch me naked --hey, can't blame me for trying-- but I finally caved and it was a great decision. It wasn't immediate, I was still very nervous having a stranger touch me. I have pain points and sensitive areas that never feel good when touched, but once the therapist (Allison C.) got started I could tell she really knew her stuff. It didn't feel awkward at all. The tensions went away and it didn't even hurt. I would usually feel like garbage for a few days after a massage, but it has been two days and I still feel great. I was paired up with Sherwin, have been seeing her for a few months now and she's absolutely amazing, super friendly, very skilled and gets totally in-tune to what you body needs, I haven't felt this good in years! TBE! I highly recommend her! I also inquired and started pain management with there in house Nurse Practitioner Lani due to back and shoulder pain and she is equally amazing, super friendly, very professional and most important, hits all the right spots to help you feel better! I have been a frequent flyer at Feel Well for a few years now. Whether I am going for a medical massage, (Oh, my how I LOVE) a Hot Stone massage, or just a nice, relaxing feel well all over massage, I can always count on Joe R or Cathrine for just what I need/want. At times, I combine a facial with a massage for the ultimate 'ME' package. I have been treated by other LMTs and also have been satisfied, but I have my favorites! I highly recommend Feel Well to my family and friends (and always ask them for gc for my birthday and holidays). To avoid parking issues, especially during church services next door, park in King Kullen's parking lot directly across the street. read more

I've been going to Feel Well for the past 2 years without any issues, sports massage by Joey G is top notch. But lately I've decided to try a different therapist on the suggestion of a friend of mine. BIG MISTAKE!!! She cancelled on me twice, and both last minute, and both times when I desperatly needed a massage. You would think that Feel Well would offer some sort of discount or compensation for this huge inconvienance, but nothing! Sure if you cancel last minute they would be quick to charge you a fee, but if they do it it seems to be ok. Not good business! read more

I made an appointment for my daughter to get a massage and for myself to get a facial. We both loved our treatments! We both said the same thing afterwards: "The time went so fast!" Warning Do not buy Gift Cards from Feel Well, for future use. They can not be used for specials or for tips! Just a Ridiculous policy! You are actually penalized for buying a Gift Card! Very poor customer relations by owner! Would not allow a $15 special to be purchased on a GC, or given to a masseuse as a tip. Instead she kept the $15 for herself! read more

This massage was a birthday gift from my friend and had already been fully paid for in advance. Despite that, I was initially told I owed the full balance. After clarifying that it had already been paid, I was then asked about gratuity, which my friend had also already authorized. I'm usually quiet during my massage and would have liked my masseuse to ask for more feedback (harder/softer/ how does it feel?) My boyfriend was very happy with his masseuse. (Her name was Terry). I was confused at the end of mine when my masseuse applied cream all over my face and gently rubbed it in for quite a few minutes . Wasn't sure if I was getting a facial as well, never had that done before. Would have preferred she could have washed her hands and done a scalp massage instead. When done I went back to the locker room and took a shower in the oversized shower which had complimentary shampoo conditioner and body wash. They brought me a bath mat and a small towel. I would have liked a changing room as there was a small padded bench in the room but there were two other ladies in there so I changed in the toilet stall. I know space is limited but even another curtain just outside the shower area to separate it from the rest of the room would be nice for modesty reasons. Walking out they were very sweet and let me take photos to share. Physically I felt very relaxed and feeling good. We also spent a few minutes in the sauna with a cup of cold water they provided before showering.
