I would rate no stars if I could! I went in yesterday for a mani and pedi. Had a 10 am appointment only to wait for the owner to get there 15 minutes late to open the shop. I walk in and she tells me to sit down that her technician will be there shortly. So I waited because I've had good experiences at this place in the past. At 10:45, no jen else has arrived and I was about to walk out, so she rushed to me and turns on the water and tells me to get ready. I was already annoyed but figured I was already there. Big mistake!!! She ( the owner) took the initiative so I wouldn't wait longer and started my Pedi. She ended up scrapping the bottom on my foot raw with the little yellow sponge and the only reason she stopped was because I told her it hurt. Then she moved on to the other foot. I checked my foot and pointed out to her what she had done, she laughed and said sorry. Then without caring what she had done. She carried on with the gel pedi and sprayed my feet with alcohol, which of course made my cut hurt! I moved my feet and told her, you cut me and then sprayed my foot with alcohol?? Again she laughed and said sorry, but you could tell she didn't care. She decided to put a band-aid on it to make it stop bleeding, but as she continued to do the pedi she kept touching the stop and i had to repeatedly tell her to be careful. I was so over being there, but by this time i was half ways through my pedi and mani so i had to stay. When it came time to pay, I let her know that i wasn't happy with my pedi because instead of relaxing and enjoying my pedi, she cut the bottom of my foot and now i was leaving with an injury. She looked at me and said, "what you want a discount and laughed" I'm honestly appalled at her behavior and lack or remorse for what she had done because all she cared about was, who's next. She offered me a $5 discount to make it right, lol. I would say that's more of an insult than trying to mend things. I have to say I'm never going back and i would never recommend this place. It has lost its integrity and the place was very dirty. I should have known better. (I should mention, I'm currently 6 months pregnant and was looking forward to getting pampered which turned into feeling stressed out and leaving injured) I'm posting a picture so every one can see her work.

I was charged $65 for this. I asked the lady who did my nails why the shape was so off and she said I had them like that already which isn't true. The lady cut me when she was filing. When I told her about it she didn't say sorry or anything. When she was finished I asked her if she was going to clean up my hands and she told me I could go wash my hands. When I complained to the owner about it she didn't have much to say either except for the reason they charged $65 was because of the design. I showed her the cut too still she didn't address it. I was very disappointed.

I asked Kim if she was able to do a somewhat less traditional style acrylic set and she nailed it!

Kim did a beautiful job on my acrylic overlay. Yes these are my natural nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted then told her the color and the shape. She worked her magic! Kim was very nice and when I asked her to fix one of the nails she did so. I'm very satisfied with my service. Will be returning! 3 stars only because I wish they would've sanitized the table/seat that I sat in after the previous person was done with their set and the tech did not change her gloves after switching to a new client.

So unprofessional. Always so rushed and never taking their time. They overbook and have you waiting in the chair forever, not to mention how rude they are. Had to walk out with my nails looking like this..

Wow. So usually I would go to Lotus since it's close to my house, I could get a chair, and the employees were able to communicate efficiently. Totally NOT the case today. The place was full. That's fine. I had to wait 20 mins. The owner was confused that I wanted shellac (not regular gel). Once a lady came over to assist me, she couldn't speak English very well. She was a bit slow. I was informed I couldn't get a 3-d design on shellac nails. Disappointing. Then it took another 20 mins for this lady to get her act together. They were a bit more aggressive with their shellac application, it was a traditional abrasive manicure preparation. The lady cut my pinky. Then I asked if I could have an American manicure (french tip with neutral/ nude/beige color base). No one knew what I was talking about. I showed them pictures, they thought I was crazy. I'm the client with specific wants. If a business can't meet those "wants", I'm on to the next. I didn't like the suggested base colors. My technician was flustered and left me alone for a few minutes. Came back. Took 5 more minutes to find my new (and final) shellac color (I gave up on the American manicure). Oh, not to mention the employees were yelling at each other because 1)I'm apparently too demanding and 2) the tech was taking too long. I wanted to leave several times. So finally, I had my shellac color and added some glitter. The tech was angry when she was going to bill me. The owner had to look at my final result and it cost the standard $30 (I believe). Oh, not to mention they had flaws: The gel lamp wasn't working correctly. The floor corners had caked dust. My allergies went crazy. Let's see how long these nails last. Haha. Take your time & money and run elsewhere.

No radio, no tv, we just have to listen to the associates speak in Vietnamese the entire time. There wasn't any customer engagement at all. They only approach you if it concerns your nail. They put plastic bag over the pedicure tub so they won't have to sanitize it afterwards. My nails were not polished form edge to edge. And I'm not the type to complain because I fear retaliation. The acrylic had a lot of residue dried underneath the nails. Will not be going back. I do not recommend this place.

I have came here a handful of times but after this experience I Will Not Return ..When she filed down my cuticles I bled, I developed a very bad toe infection and couldn't walk on my foot due to pain for 2 days. (Left foot, big toe). A couple days when it got better (salt soak, hydrogen peroxide.. for days) My Toe Nail Completely came off.I would upload a picture of my toe with no nail but its disturbing to look at.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The lady that did my gel was so sloppy and in a hurry, I asked her if she can fix a couple nails because they were messy, she decided to just keep adding layers and layers of gel, which would not fix the problem.. She also cut me and "accidentally" sprayed alcohol on my face when I was trying to show her which nail was messy. I asked to speak to the manager or the person in charge and after I was directed to different people I finally talked to someone who told me if I payed for my messed up gel manicure I can come back later at anytime I want and she would fix it. I called later on in the day to let her know I was coming in so I didn't have to wait and they told me I couldn't come until later. When SHE specially said I could come back whenever. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE.

Look at my cuticles! Poorly done and bad customer service!

I am so disappointed with my nails. First off, I knew something was wrong when the lady told me I could file my "OWN" nails no problem, because when she did one hand they were all slanted at an angle and not even. I thought that was so odd! I asked for white gel, which I normally get and it was clumping up and getting messy on my nails and cuticles. She kept using this pointed metal tool to scrap off the excess polish that was getting all over my cuticles. It started to hurt the more she scraped. She was telling me "don't worry I clean for you, it's because the polish is thick!" It didn't work it only smeared the excess polish. I was in Italy told by a male nail tech that she does manicures too. I've only ever seen her do pedicures. My fault, should've listened to my instincts and either waited or gone else where. The owner was brushing me off...telling me have a seat I'll fix it for you. I told her I don't have time to sit and wait I needed to be else where. I would not recommend Lotus Nails. Go elsewhere. The owner and the male nail tech are the best there but like most nail shops the good ones are always busy, right ?!?!?

I love my claws!!!!!!!!! I showed Dwye my picture of which ones I wanted and he gave me the most PERFECT claws ever! He literally measured my nails really took his time and hes VERY clean. my appt was at 4 but I was in a rush stopped by and got squeezed in earlier on a busy Friday!! I work at a hotel so I took all their cards, I'm seriously not going anywhere else! price was $35.00 I left a great tip. VERY VERY HAPPY! My friends all love my nails as well.

Never again the lady that did my moms & mine pedicure was trying to over charger $30 more. She had cut me multiple times & 2 days later for my mom she got feet fungus on her nails the tools were clean properly. read more

THIS WAS THE MOST PAINFUL PEDICURE EVER! I told Him multiple times that he was hurting me and he would say "right here?" And proceeded to scrub harder in that spot. Then he was upset that I didn't tip him. I told him 5 times that he was hurting me! He's lucky I even paid! Don't waste your time or money coming here. Not to mention he rushed the entire process! read more

Well.... I used to be a frequent customer of The Lotus, before they went down hill according to the reviews I read. Tonight I came to get a full set with a friend of mine. I was greeted by two men, who weren't doing anything. So cool, I'm thinking we can can get our nails done at the same time. I asked for Tiffany ( the owner) and was told she had the day off. Okay cool, no worries. Well here's where attitudes come out... I asked one of the gentleman if know how to do diamonds (rhinestones)? In all his glory he rolls his neck and starts pointing his finger to the sky and tells me he can do whatever he's shown! How many diamonds do I want?! 1, 2 , 10 , my entire set with them?! Because he can do it all!! Uhh okay, I've got a real pro here..... I walked outside to take a phone call and to talk to my friend about whether or not we want to use The Lotus' services. We decided to lets just do it here since we are already here. I proceeded to walk in first, and was told to sit down and wait for the lady that was doing nails on someone. Now I'm confused as heck because 3 minutes ago boy wonder and his sidekick were going to do our nails. He says they have to take turns... She's currently busy.. doesn't make no sense. My friend proceeds to walk in and the tall orange haired neck roller see's the picture of what she wants and tells her " that's to many diamonds, to come back tomorrow when Tiffany is here so she can help us"! Not to sound like a complete jerk.. coming from someone that was loyal to this establishment, they should just close. Overpriced, they have no people skills, they constantly go through staff . read more

The lady who greets you when you come in, is really nice and funny. They do not do good on mani or pedis. Why in the world, would you cut the sides of my toenail and change the whole shape of it? I just can't understand! The vibe was good though, but I left pissed. Paid them their money, which I don't think they deserved and left. Will never return! Btw, this is the New Salon that opened there! read more

I went to have dip removed and redone and never again. She didn't soak my nails, she just filed the poish off and apparently took some surface nail with it idk. But the dip didn't even last me 5 days! It should last 3-4 WEEKS! I went to have the dip removed somewhere else because they will NOT touch my nails again. My nail beds are so sore and my nails are so brittle now. I'm so sad. read more

Wanna be ripped off? Then come to this place! Paid 65 dollars for a mediocre gel mani and pedi and also had a bunch of cuts on my skin to take home. Fantastic, right?! Had a much better mani and pedi from other places at a reasonable price. I regret even giving this place a shot. Curiosity killed the cat i suppose. read more

People were friendly. They have horrible way of conducting business. I got the #5 with the waxing therapy. Who gives a massage while your feet are wrapped up? They do that's who! 39$ for the not so great pedicure. I feel like they were on the high end and I didn't get what I paid for. Won't be back. read more

Terrible !! I used to come here A LOT over the years the services have gotten worse. They over charge for crap services and are very unprofessional! I can see why a lot of people quit and why they aren't busy anymore. The owner is always behind and takes walk ins for waxing and makes you wait when you have an appointment. Today after coming back the owner was arguing and degrading her daughter in front of customers and my kids all under the age of ten. We also had an appointment together and they were going to take us in one at a time but couldn't because "workers didn't come in" which is the worst excuse. It was supposed to be a date for us 4 and they should have called or notified me when I called 20 minutes before . I will NEVER COME AGAIN !!!! read more

I like going here to see Hana. She's always done a good job and this is the only person who has done my gel polish manicures and they last the 2 weeks without chipping. As much as I like her, I don't like the fact that i make my appointments at 10:30 on Sunday's and they run late every single time.. I usually don't start until 10:45. Punctuality is important!!! Also I once had gel toe polish and wanted to get polish again but not the gel just regular and I was told there would be a $5 fee to remove the gel. I was so confused because I'm still getting polish, just not gel. So I ended up saying forget it and just had them remove the toe nail polish... that's super shady to do to customers... cleanliness of the place is not that great.. read more

This place is amazing. Great service from the start. Once I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and the owner asked if there was a particular color I liked. Stay Away. I didn't have an appointment at the DMV so I had cleared an entire afternoon to take care of my car registration. To my at most surprise -- I was in and out in 25 minutes. So I did what any person would do. I looked up a nearby spot to get a pedicure. Biggest mistake ever. It was a bit grungy and filthy inside.The lady doing my toes was very slow and overly meticulous. So I came here to try this place out for the first time. I wasn't happy at all when I got home with the result. I payed $42 dollar for gel nail polished. I pick out a light silver color number 8. and came out with a light teal color nail polish gel it way far from what I picked. On top of that the work looks like I did it myself. I decided to give this place a shot, even after the bad reviews, should have headed the warning. I was quickly seated to have a simple manicure. When the nail tech (if you can even call her that) sat down she proceeded to pull a pair of exam Gloves from a box - these were new gloves. She dropped one on the floor and picked it up with her toes. She the proceeded to place it on her hands as though I was going to allow this person to use toe funk on my hands. When I asked her to replace the gloves she acted like I was seeing things and didn't understand why I wanted her to use a new set of gloves. She then proceed to pull the nail tools out of a dirty bin on her cart, no sterilization package, no sign or being sanitary at all!! Need less to say I said, no not today satan, your not going my nails and walked out. Be advised that if this happens in front of a clients eyes, what happens when no one is looking? read more

Honestly I should have left as soon as I sat down. I showed her an image of what I wanted and she couldn't even accomplish that. I saw how ugly it was looking so I asked her to paint over it and she got upset. The shape is horrible and there's air bubbles every where. She got upset when I asked her to fix the paint and I didn't want to spend anymore time there so I just left and paid for my set. They're bumpy and my nails hurt from how rough. Would 100% NOT recommend!!! Terrible nail service! The lady did not file my nails correctly, she was hurting me every 30 seconds, and she sucked at painting the nail. I have a ton of air bubbles on my nails, they are crooked, and she filed my cuticles too low that it looks like i need another fill! Also i left with my fingers full of glue! They are thick enough to be seen, but not so thick that they weigh my eyelids down or look like I'm wearing falsies. The glue she used didn't both me (sometimes during allergy season, I can be extra sensitive to the glue). Nicole is fairly quick. I think it took an hour for a fill. Now understand, this was the first time I saw Nicole. She was doing a fill on someone else's work, so I think an hour is pretty decent. Nicole's prices are reasonable, especially for the end result. What I really like and appreciate about Nicole is that she is REALLY gentle. I have an extra-sensitive lash line, and she never once made me flinch. There was no pulling or yanking of my old lashes. I could actually relax and enjoy my time on the table.

I don't think she could understand me but please improve on translating to those who find it difficult to communicate to customers.

Worst place to get your eyelashes done, they seriously have no idea on how to apply and what to do with anything. She glued my top and bottom lashes! My lashes got very bumpy and stuck to each other like if you got paint in your hair! She glued them on top of MY eyelashes and on my EYELID!! This is horrible, do not dare to come here. I give an extra star because Anna was so kind and gracious with my jelly manicure, but with Vi it was the worst service I've had after all these times I've gone- and I go here a lot. I came here for a Pedicure + Manicure. 1) The nail aesthetician (name is Vi) did my pedicure. First off, she was very rough with my toe nails and made one of them bleed. I didn't say anything in the moment because of the language barrier- and I already wanted to get up and leave but couldn't cus she was in the middle of doing my toes. 2) She only cut half of my nails on one hand. Thank goodness though because she cut too close to my skin on my thumb and it hurt. It was in the moment and already done. She also didn't ask me how short I wanted my nails. I understand that nails grow back so I didn't make a big deal, but typically the ladies usually ask how short I want my nails. 3) She painted my toes at first a color I didn't want. She painted them super clear nude- which in my mind I thought I was top coat. I told her the color I wanted and she came beck with a nude color (opposite of my pink color). So she had to remove the color and start over. Thank you to the other lady that was helpful. Sadly, idk if I would come back..and if I do I would not ask for Vi. I feel bad writing this review but this was the worse visit I had here and I tell people about this nail salon a lot. The second star is for Anna. Thank you for being kind and gentle with my nails as you could be despite my thumb hurting.

I got to the salon no wait only two other ladies sitting getting their nails done, I was helped by an older lady she asked me if i was getting a manicure I said "no thank you just color change" she proceeded to file my nails i said "please don't drill or file " and she right away got upset and began handling my hands like she wanted to rush the service. She proceeded to drill my hands and I felt pressured because I had already said no twice about a manicure and drilling so I allowed her to finish the job because I felt bad about waiting their time . I'm on my fifth day of my color change and the stickers I added on have peeled off I was charged more than 25 cents per sticker. The gel has also started to peel off. I don't think she could understand me but please improve on translating to those who find it difficult to communicate to customers.
