Where do I begin? I don't like to leave reviews but this was a must. My aunt took me here to get my nails done for my bday. I was just going to get gel on my real nail but she convinced me to give them a try and get builder gel (my usual when I get my nails done at Pro Top ll Nails). I told the lady I want it to match my pedicure color (I got it done somewhere else), she didn't even want to help me find the color that's similar to it. I was a little impressed she was done within 30ish mins because Pro Top will take about an hour with me. Now I know why, I woke up a week later with one nail broken. It was a fast job that resulted to cheap quality work. I made an appt at 9am to get it fixed. I get there and they made me feel so unwanted. They were talking in their language like if they were arguing who should help me. Asking me if I got my nails done there and if I am getting a fill. Why the heck would I get a fill on a one week nail set?! I waited over 10 mins to be helped. The old man (assuming the owner) took me to 3 ladies and again talking in their language and I am so sure they were again arguing who should fix my nail. The lady on the left kept saying Tina and the lady on the right (table 15 I think) kept giving me the stare (practically mad dogging me). Tina ends up fixing my nail but she was not happy about it. Charged me $5 to fixed it (Pro Top doesn't charge me and I've only broken my nails once and it was my fault). I am on my 2ish week and woke up with another nail broken. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! Poor quality and service. There should be a law that when you're in a business setting, English should be the only language used.

Didn't like the color, I will go somewhere else to fix these.

I had a very upsetting and uncomfortable experience during my recent appointment. Everything started out fine, but after the second coat of polish was applied, I realized I did not like the color and politely asked if it could be changed. This is something I have done in the past without any issues. As soon as I made this simple request, the nail technician (Ivy) became visibly upset. She began throwing her hands in the air and speaking loudly and angrily in another language across the salon to other staff members. Several people responded back to her. I never raised my voice or spoke rudely, but the situation immediately escalated and made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. Another staff member then came over and told me that she liked the color and that they were very busy. I explained to her that the issue was not the color anymore, but the behavior of the technician. I told her that Ivy's body language, tone, and the fact that she was talking angrily across the salon were rude and were making me feel uncomfortable and anxious. Instead of addressing this, I was told to "calm down," even though I was not being rude or raising my voice at all. I explained that I was calm, but that Ivy was the one who needed to calm down because her behavior was what was making me uncomfortable. At that point, I asked for a different technician or said that if they were too busy, I was willing to wait for someone else to become available. This request was dismissed, and I was told that Ivy would continue the service. I felt pressured to continue even though I was already very uncomfortable. I was also informed that I would be charged an additional $25 fee to change the nail color. I questioned this because I have changed colors in the past and was never charged or made to feel like it was a problem. I do not understand why changing a nail color became such a big issue, especially as a paying customer. I will not pay for a service or color that I do not like. The remainder of the appointment was extremely uncomfortable. Ivy handled my hands roughly and continued speaking angrily across the salon, which made me feel anxious and uneasy the entire time. What should have been a relaxing experience turned into a very stressful one. I understand salons get busy, but there is no excuse for speaking about a client publicly, raising voices, or communicating in another language in a way that clearly makes a client feel targeted and uncomfortable. Employees shouldn't be allowed to cross talk in front of clients in a different language it's RUDEE!! If I want to change my nail color I should feel attacked for doing so!! Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled from beginning to end, I will not be returning.

I was running errands this morning, and realized I had about a 2 hour gap until my next appointment and decided to get a pedicure. I haven't gone to Luxury in quite some time, and I do not regret going! Hana is the best and will now be my go to!! She was very careful, took her time, and would always ask me if I was doing okay. She was also able to take out this huge ingrown nail I had on my left toe! She really is the best. Thank you Hana!

I'm sorry but this place has lost its touch. Definitley will not be coming back. They do not sterilize their tools after each use. I saw the lady doing my pedicure get all her tools that were loose from the basket in her trolley and start using them on me. Nail file, Clippers, cuticle pusher even the toe seperators. Do salons no longer sterilize them after each client?! Needless to say that alone ruined it for me. I tried to look past the current bad yelp reviews because I was in desperate need of a pedicure, but never again. Please go somewhere where tools are sanitized so you don't risk getting any infection. As I'm looking around, all the techs at the pedi stations are doing the same thing, nothing is being sterilized nor coming out of little clear bags and opened in front of us like other salons do. Is it not standard requirement to sanitize tools after each client use anymore?? Please save your money and go elsewhere.

My gel manicure only lasted 2 days before they started to peel off!!! My own nail polish lasts me more than that.

Never going back there , can't even wear any shoes besides open toed shoes :| . This is painful !

My toe has been in pain. This is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to go through this. I will not be returning ! I have never seen green pus come out of my toe in my life until I came here !

One week post new set.. maybe I just had bad luck and was with a newbie. These have been the worse set I've ever got. I showed the tech a picture and she just didn't deliver. I told her it wasn't looking the same and she rolled her eyes at me. She charged me $60 for this set.

Service with the nail tech was fine however 4-5 other techs kept walking by and standing over me criticizing my nails. At first they thought my nails were acrylic. I explained that my nails were real and I was just looking for a classic gel manicure. I did have some gel polish already on my nails prior to service however, 4 to 5 people throughout my service kept touching my nails and hands looking at them and making comments. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable and not once spoke to me directly just to each other. Never coming here again if u could give them a 0 I would.

Tammy is absolutely amazing! I've been going to her for my manicures and pedicures, and she consistently does an outstanding job. She is incredibly detailed, takes her time to make everything perfect, and you can really tell she cares about her work. She's also always on time, professional, and makes every appointment such a pleasant experience. My nails and feet always look beautiful and last so well! My Daughter and I walked into Luxury Spa today, for a pedicure. I had been a faithful customer since they opened, but as of today I will never come back or bring my Daughters again! Vi began my pedicure today and for no reason left me sitting there for about 20 minutes. Vi left and didn't come back until I began to complain. This was a horrible experience, this is not acceptable. I will take my business elsewhere and will not recommend this place!! read more

You NEED to book an appointment with B. He is the absolute best. I've never had anyone shape my nails as good as he does at any other salon. I'm also super hard with my hands. I'm in water all day banging my nails on everything. My nails always last. No lifting. He's always down for some designs and man they come out clean! Love him. He's my guy! I love this place. They are so easy to get in to. I have never had a bad experience or have anyone give attitude. Everyone has always greeted me with a smile and we usually chat throughout our appointments. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience. My nail technician rushed through the entire appointment and seemed more focused on finishing quickly than providing quality service. She hurt me multiple times while working on my nails, and one of my fingers was cut badly enough to bleed. On top of that, my nails were cut unevenly, and there was still nail polish left on the skin around my fingers when she was done. When I politely asked for one nail to be trimmed a little shorter, she seemed visibly annoyed by the request, which made me feel uncomfortable. Paying for a service should not result in bleeding fingers, uneven nails, and feeling like you're a burden for asking for a simple adjustment. Unfortunately, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this salon based on my experience. read more

Came back since I've liked my nails previously done by Tracy and Tony. I went in recently with Mia, first off it was a simple look. 3 nails are different length from the rest, then when I asked I wanted French tip like I've gotten before the best by Tracy. Mia rushed through painted my nails white then created a French tip shape, not the best may I state that. Will stick to my usual nail tech or to Tracy. To top it off Mia was quick to be somewhere else that she applied the cuticle oil on my hand rather than my cuticles. Only person I'm mad at is myself. read more

Customer service was not what I expected. I asked to get my color changed and Ivy tried to get me to pay for a fill. I politely declined yet she even got the other workers in the salon to ask me to get a fill. They would come, stare at my nails and talk amongst themselves. I will not be returning. read more

I feel like they need to check their nail polish inventory. I paid to get a gel manicure which is extra so it can last longer and two nails chipped the next day. I went so they can fix it which they did but it was just a waste of time since another nail chipped that same day. I will never go back to get manicures at this place. It is expensive and the quality is not there. read more

Paid $105 for gel pedi and dip nails on Friday afternoon the next day my nails were chipping and the top coat was cracking. I went to have them fixed and the manager said to come back in an hour, when I came back another guy said we're too busy can you come later after I already had come back. They are very sloppy, over priced for the work, rushing, and rude. If you want surprise prices this is the place Bottom line is do not come if you want quality! read more

when I first walked in, I had asked the woman how long the wait would be, and I was told to just sit down when I asked again how long the wait would be she looked at her coworker and laughed and said something in her language, and then looked at me and said just sit down not very friendly and when I came back the next day, they said the wait would be 5 to 10 minutes and I waited 25 I ended up just leaving because I didn't feel like a very welcoming atmosphere read more

Terrible service!! Half fast job! I came for an acrylic pedicure, the lady made my powder extremely thick and round. I asked her multiple times to make it thinner and she didn't so I asked for her file and started filling it for her. After that she started filling my other toes very hard and gave me so much attitude, obviously upset. (I'm not going to pretend I like a job when I don't.) Eventually she started rushing me out to get to another customer so she put the top coat on before the first coat was dry. Then I accidentally touched my toe and asked her to fix it (I did not do it on purpose!!) and they ASKED ME TO LEAVE Worst. Experience. Ever. read more

I've been here before and I feel like their quality of service has declined over the years. They do dip but pack on the color so it's too thick on your nails. When the lady did my nails, she hurt me so much that my cuticles are scabbed. I will never go back again bc she ruined my cuticles. read more

I needed to remove my acrylic nails and decided to try this place out. They were either distracted or didn't know what they were doing. The first person who attended to me was filing off the acrylic and also part of my nail that didn't even have acrylic! They damaged my nail barrier. I have been to a different place where the process of removing my acrylic nails was different from what I experienced here. NEVER AGAIN will I go there. read more

I can literally feel the changes occuring in the areas that have been long overdue for treatment. I carry a lot of stress and anxiety in my neck and shoulders. The waiting area was calm and comfortable with a relaxing video playing, and the massage room itself was just right--soothing music, perfect lighting (not too bright, not too dark), and thankfully not overly perfumed. I specifically asked for deep pressure, and she delivered. It got intense at times--but in the best way. When we questioned her about the mandatory tip, she adamantly requested a 20% tip regardless. She proceeded to drill my hands and I felt pressured because I had already said no twice about a manicure and drilling so I allowed her to finish the job because I felt bad about waiting their time . I'm on my fifth day of my color change and the stickers I added on have peeled off I was charged more than 25 cents per sticker. The gel has also started to peel off. I don't think she could understand me but please improve on translating to those who find it difficult to communicate to customers.

I purchased 7 gift certificates from this spa on 5/9/10. My brother purchased a gift certificate from them on the previous day for my sister- in-law for her nails when I saw her afterward they had not followed proper producer in applying the nails (the fake nail and real nail where not sealed, and the top coat was not filled in completely.) we made an apt. to get them replaced, and we where not satisfied with the customer service, and left after the removal of nails and 25.00 refund. That same day I came back to get a refund for 220.00 dollars out of the 380.00 dollars in certificates I had (my mom at the time still wanted her certificates), and I was first told that my sister-in-law was a lair since the manicurist Tony claimed she agreed to have her nails done that way. Who asks to have their nails like that? I told the manager that this was a he said she said situation while she was still calling my sister a lair at this point I could see there was no point in talking to her since she was making blame statements, and not trying to resolve the situation. When I asked for a refunded the manager refused claiming they are final sale. When I asked for the return policy she handed me their pamphlet with misc policies. I read over it, and it had no mention of the gift certificate policy. I told her there is nothing in it about the certificates then she told me they are the Gilroy locations papers as the Salinas ones are being printed. I told her you should have the return policy out for people to read or have told me before the purchase. The manger then proceeded to tell me that she told my "friend that they where final sale" my younger sister Ann who she had spoken to earlier in the week. I was told that I would have to right a letter to John the owner and he would make the decision if I would get my money back or not. My question about a phone number was ignored, and I asked my sister Ann if she had told her this, and she said he had no memory of her saying this. If you are going to visit this place be careful they don't have the ability to communicate with their customers. Issues: 1. Don't call people lairs if you don't really have proof. 2. It's the law to display your return policy (http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general/refund_policies.php) 3. The other manger could not even be bothered to stop smoking and see us inside when we came for our apt. 4. I have been here before and have tried to like it, however, the lack of communication and customer service standards takes away from the good location and the ease of getting everything done at once. read more

I love coming to luxury spa for my mani and pedi! There's only one person there that I trust and she does a fabulous job every single time. Her name is Vicky and she is very good at what she does. She takes her time and makes sure that your nails come out the way you want. Whenever I would go to other nail salons and get a pedicure, the next day I would always have an infection on either one or both feet around my big toe. With Vicky this NEVER has happened to me ,not once, since I started going to luxury spa. Because of her work I can enjoy having a pedicure without the pain. And this is probably insignificant but I never hear her speaking to her coworkers in their language if I mention to her a correction that I would like her to make. I had been going there for a couple years but decided to stop when the manager lied to me about the girls who usually did my nails. They decided to tell me they were on vacation when in reality they quit because of the management team. Every time i asked for them i was shut down and mistreated, later to find out they quit because they themselves were mistreated by the managers. Went in three times before deciding to really stop going i realized the manger who did my nails didn't clean her supplies to remove my cuticles i quickly told her no!!!! That i had changed my mind. Horrible customer service!! Don't waste your time or money here. I walked in requested the girl that does my pedi, guy in the front desk said it would be 15-20min wait. I waited, the girl finished up with her client and started to work on someone else. I asked why I wasn't next, the guy response and says there's a party or 5 ahead. Which made me upset that he had me waiting instead of letting me know it was going to be hours wait. Plus the party of five walked in at different times I had been waiting which to me is not fair. Good place to be pampered with a premium pedicure costing about $40 but be careful if you want a manicure and they offer the "gel" nail polish. They say it will last 2 weeks but when I went back to have my nails fixed, they all started speaking in their languageand then looking at me which left me feeling uncomfortable. My goal was to let my natural nails grow for a few months. I was assigned to a new nail tech who spoke no English - not usually a problem. The frightening part of this experience came when she tried to sand down my nails with electric tool used to remove the gel. She began using this sanding tool on my nail which caused instant sensitivity to my finger. I asked her to stop & the owner-manager came over. Not much was said to me & no apologies. This woman showed the tech how to remove the remaining gel polish by soaking my nails with a cotton ball & acetone, wrapping in foil, and then scraping with hand tool. The tech didn't understand the technique, so she poured more acetone on my nails. The owner-manager removed the polish, cut, & filed my nails. The tech began trimming my cuticles & area around the nails but caused pain. I tried to pull away & she held my finger tightly. I stood up & walked out because of the poor communication between all of us and the fear that this inexperienced tech would injure me. New techs need to learn, but they need to be responsive to the customer. There are health & safety risks to these procedures. This salon does not value the voice of the customer & is NOT committed to safety protocols. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

She's super accomidating. I do recommend to make an appt because they can get busy and if you don't want to wait and for sures be seen I ALWAYS make an appt. They clean everything really well and have a lot of disposable items that are actually thrown away right away unlike some other salons. I highly recommend this salon for pedicures. I haven't done any other service here but I can say that the pedicures are *chef kiss*. They give you a complimentary drink the start and you get to relax with calming music and the nail techs seem to actually enjoy being with each other. I usually paint my own nails…read moreso I don't have a lot of experience in salon protocol, but each time I've gotten gel paint at other places then techs put sunblock on my hands before exposing them to UV light. Not this time. The job was so rushed when I held the menu to check the prices the tech pulled my hand and told me to sit down. She didn't offer me a drink like they advertise in their Instagram post even though we were seated right in front of their mini fridge and I saw other people being offered. She wasn't friendly and didn't even let the timer run out on the light before demanding I put the other hand in. It looked ok at first but the polish peeled off the next day. It was a waste of my money and I won't go there again.

Unfortunately, the experience was so uncomfortable that I left before even getting my nails done. I came in wanting a simple pedicure with a light purple polish. I originally asked for the mid-tier pedicure, but I felt repeatedly pressured to upgrade to the most expensive option until I finally gave in. I also gave the technician the exact number of the polish color I wanted. She came back twice with different colors and kept telling me, "this one better," instead of bringing me the color I had chosen. I had to repeatedly insist that I just wanted the original color. The worst part was the actual pedicure. My feet did not feel particularly clean afterward, there was polish left on my skin, and the technician removed enough skin from my toe that I was bleeding and left with a visible raw area/gash. When I questioned her about what happened, she told me, "It's not that bad. It will be okay." I found that incredibly dismissive considering I was bleeding from a service that was supposed to be relaxing and leave my feet looking better. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying to have my nails done and left. So now, instead of leaving with my nails and toes done for my friend's wedding, I'm going to the wedding without my nails done and with a painful, visible injury on my foot. I really wish my choices had simply been respected from the beginning. I didn't want upgrades or different colors. I just wanted the pedicure I asked for and light purple polish. I definitely did not expect to leave bleeding.

My previous Dazzle Dry manicure, done while on vacation, lasted 10 days without chipping because it was properly applied. They kindly called me back and redid them with a cat eye design, which I really loved. Unfortunately, within just a couple days, the new set also started breaking. Even after being fixed once for free, two more nails broke off in less than 3 days. For $80, I expected my nails to last much longer. I won't be returning, but I do really appreciate the staff's kindness and trying to fix it. And hope they can improve their technique.

That seems really expensive to me and also the chairs while really pretty are very impractical because you can't recline in them and for someone tall it makes for not as comfortable of an experience the entire time all I wanted to do was recline and I'm pregnant on top of it so it was a bit tough for me.
