I have been getting my eyebrows waxed at nail salons for years, and my mom has been telling me no dont do it go see Regina. So she took it upon herself to buy me gift certificates for christmas. I have now seen Regina twice, and its amazing what a difference it has made to my face. I grew them out for about a month, but it was beyond worth it. I didnt think I had much to work with but she completely changed my face. Regina really knows what she is doing and really knows how to shape your face. She also takes the time to teach you how to pencil in, and highlight your eyebrows properly. I am paying more then at the nail salons, but it is worth it. I've been going to Regina for a number of years now - I knew she was good, but I didn't realize how good until recently. I had an appointment with her but unfortunately our schedules got messed up and I wasn't able to see her for a waxing anytime soon. Desperate to get my eyebrows waxed, I went to a random place on yelp (which had very good reviews). The lady completely jacked up my eyebrows, lost the shape and just made them look very messy- I don't even know how to explain the mess she did to my eyebrows. Still not able to get an appointment with Regina because of the busy holidays, I went to another random place on yelp (which also had good reviews). My eyebrows looked better, however- she took FOREVER! And they still weren't exactly how I wanted them to look, even after showing her a picture for reference. Long story short, Regina is very good at what she does. She shapes your brows according to your face and she does it super fast. I didn't even know how much eyebrows could affect your appearance until I started going to her. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was thirteen after my mother told me (in her Spanish accent) that my eyebrows were a cross between Grousho Marz (Groucho) and Bruke (Brooke) Shields. "But don worry, Mija," she said, "because there is help." When I say I am an excellent judge of estheticians and/or facial waxing, you gotta trust me! I've been getting waxed since that day twenty years ago when my mother basically told me I was a freak of nature. In all of those years, Regina is by far the absolute BEST. She is an artist. An artiste! My brows have never looked so good. I secretly wondered if she was able to make my brows beautiful because I'd already had them shaped and manipulated for so long. Right? I mean, how hard can it be to improve on something that already has some shape. But then I brought in my own child...not quite a cross between Groucho and Brooke...she is more of the "Solid Caterpillar Brow" with each hair as wiry and coarse as a horse's tail. I was simply hoping that Regina could tame this single wild eyebrow on my poor daughter into TWO. If there could be no arch, that was ok. I just hoped for her to have two neat little caterpillars. Alas! Regina was able to perform a miracle! For both of us! We see Regina every month where she transforms us. It saddens me to post this negative review. Regina does good work but lacks in customer service. I booked an appointment on her online site for Friday August 1st at 10:00am. I arrived at 9:50, door was locked and lights off. At 10am I called her and left a message (wondering if she was just running late) and also sent an email. I waited 5 more minutes and decided to leave. I have called her two more times since then without a return call. I also sent two additional emails that have gone unanswered. I no longer trust her schedule online as she didn't show for my original appointment. Mistakes happen, I totally understand that. The blatant disregard and lack of acknowledgement has me seeking a reliable source for my needs as this is completely unacceptable customer service. Regina appreciates her schedule to be respected and I feel it is not being reciprocated by her to her clients. read more

One word: AMAZING. My entire life I have "shaped" my eyebrows myself, and never went to have them waxed or professionally done. I've been to Regina about 5 times. I went to a chain waxing company because my boyfriend goes there and said that he would pay for it. It was so painful, I almost passed out. I had to ask the esthetician to stop in the middle. She was using the hard wax the whole time and it was excruciating. I was white as a ghost afterward and so was she because she knew that I was in so much pain. I did not do waxing for 4 months because it was so traumatic. Regina is amazing at what she does! I did not know where to go when I moved to Temecula from San Diego, so I went to the Brow Bar at Macy's. I found it to be impersonal because everyone at the mall could see me getting waxed...especially if i needed my lip and/or chin done. Also, I could never get the same technician.
