I've been coming to this specific location for years and it's gotten to the point where it's just time to finally speak up about the bad parts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My main issue was Mia at the front desk who, took about ten minutes to walk out to the front desk and acknowledge me at the location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She only walked out to check someone out, and when I gave her my name, she said, "you're an hour early, I don't have anything right now" and then continued to check out the other lady.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat there and waited for a formal acknowledgment. I expected her to tell the other woman who was sitting in the room with me, you're next and tell me let's see what I can do and give you options. Nothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I walked out, and had to waste an hour of my time for the appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I walked in, she was still checking out the other lady, and then told me I would not be able to be seen because now I was too late, - 9 minute grace period, even though I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged when I first walked in, too late.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She told me there was nothing else left for the day although I had only one small prepaid service I was waiting for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I couldn't come the next day as I was heading out of town, hence the need for the wax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I looked at my phone as I walked out, I got a text saying I had a no show and had 3 no shows before they don't take my appointments and can only do walk ins.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to walk back in and ask her for her name - Mia, and who was supposed to be the waxer - Jeanette, who couldn't do the wax because they had just added new wax and turned up the heat. (This means nothing to me btw as I don't work there) She also told me she had been gone for ten minutes because she also has to sweep so they can close on time because there was only one waxer. This is an hour and a half at this point after I originally showed up when the closing was nearly 2 hours out. Not once did she mention, hey we only have one waxer, when I checked in, nor did she say look we are low staffed today can you com back at a different time or day. Nothing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's rude and horrible customer service, I also don't appreciate the attitude when I called her out on her behavior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't want to argue with a young girl, but I do find it incredibly disrespectful of me and my time. I will not be returning to the location and will be asking for my money back on unpaid wax passes. Additionally, EWC, get more employees and pay them fair wages. It's no wonder why people are constantly leaving, you leave the waxers spread thin, alone, and have compressed schedules for them making them make mistakes along the way. Bottom Line: My skin was injured and the response from management lacked compassion or care. If you want good customer service, don't come here. I went to this location as a first time client on Saturday. I got an eyebrow wax first, then an underarm wax. As you can see by the picture it appears that a "strip" of skin was damaged. I called the store to let them know what happened. I got a call back from their manager, I believe her name is Maya. Anyways, the voice-mail message she left was rude as it lacked customer service and compassion. She did not apologize nor ask if I was okay. She stated that I would have to go in to have another waxer look at it. And also that I needed to bring in a doctor's note. What? Why? I'm just informing you! Please give me my money back and stop acting like the customer with the burned face is the bad guy. What is a waxer going to tell me? I need a doctor or dermatologist to treat the skin discomfort, damage, and prevent scarring. I just wanted to keep you informed and ask for a refund. I think that's fair. Instead, the management responded inappropriately. Have compassion! Be polite! There are so many choices for waxing. I think good customer service makes a huge difference.
