This is a case of…read morehow "Russo Brothers" may take advantage of a customer during a vulnerable situation -- based on my personal experience and supporting facts. Russo Brothers performed body work on my garage-kept vehicle in 2007. About five years later, the paint began deteriorating -- it lost its gloss and started peeling. According to their website (russobrothers.com), they offer a lifetime paint performance guarantee for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. In 2025, I contacted them to request repairs under that guarantee. I was told it didn't apply to me because the company that did the work in 2007 -- "Russo Brothers Service Center" -- had been dissolved, and the current company -- "Russo Brothers Auto Collision Center" -- was created around 2015. The front desk and management insisted these were entirely different companies. However, both their Google Business profile linked website and Carwise.com listing advertise they are family-owned and operated since 1956. Google Street View also shows the same business sign and branding used before and after the alleged company change. Additionally, the business has remained at the same address and has had the same phone number since the time they worked on my car in 2007. I'll let you draw your own conclusions, but my personal experience with their warranty and customer service raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about their guarantees and company history before trusting them with your vehicle.
