I recently brought my car to combined auto collision with some deep scratches on the hood. My options were to repaint the whole hood, which would be a lot of money or they would wet sand and buff out the scratches. I chose the less expensive way. When I came to pick up my car and noticed some scratches and I assumed they missed some spots. I spoke to Nick about it because I was disappointed and he said I can bring it back and he will take care of it. I brought it back the next day and it looks great. I asked him 2 questions and he made me and my wife feel inferior and dumb. I would have rather paid triple for my car to be fixed rather than deal with Anthony again. very disappointing service.... highly recommend to never use! my 2 week repair never happened, had to move my car to another shop after them having the car a little shy of 2 months. any work they did was done wrong and they charged for work that was never performed. my insurance company has proof of all this and had another collision company repair their work & do work they never did and charged for. they also added mileage to my car with using the excuse of taking it places to have it repaired, which never happened. my car was returned to me with more damage than it went in for. this place came highly recommended to me and i would not recommend them to my enemy! read more

HORRIBLE business. Beware. Zero transparency. My car was hit by a tree right before Christmas. The original estimate was 2.5 weeks, we're now at 8 weeks and still don't have our car. We have called weekly for updates and were repeatedly told they're "waiting for parts". When asked to provide a list of the parts they're waiting for, they conveniently sent to the wrong email and then didn't respond for days. One part they were looking for, my husband called a local dealership and found. Another part, my husband called the dealership they ordered from and it turns out they only ordered the part last week. So it took them 7 weeks to order a part they knew they needed weeks ago? I don't believe a single word they say. Three times we've been told that they had the parts and it would be ready in a few days, only to them be told they're waiting for more parts! I would never go back to this place and I would strongly urge others not to bring their cars here. The level of unprofessionalism is mind blowing. read more

I took my car here after an accident based on reviews I had read. They were very good and the car looks great. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because of their lack of communication with me. They failed on letting me know via e-mail or by phone that my car would not be ready on time even though I spoke ( I called them) the day before and was told it would be ready. Was not told until I called the next day after waiting for a call from them that it was not ready because they were waiting on a part. read more

Had to point out the poor paint job that was done after it was there over a week. Although it was quickly acknowledged, when I went to pick it up after it was supposedly corrected, it was still not done well. Owner did offer to keep and correct but I was tired of the back and forth. A professional body shop should have it done right the first time. My second experience with this shop for repairs was exceptional . I had confidence from the beginning that my expensive new cars each time would be finished looking like right out of the showroom. Their team was very professional and experienced. They arranged a rental car locally that was very convenient. They really understand how to negotiate with an insurance adjuster to get the job done perfectly. In the past having to deal with other shops and comparing their work and services to Combined, they couldn't even come close !! The owner John, really went out of his way to update me on the progress during the time my cars were there. He was very friendly and courteous. This place is so great! I had been to a few other shops to get an estimate on repairing a dent my neighbor caused by backing into my car and it had been such a stressful process to find a quality body shop. Combined came in with the most reasonable price as well as the quickest return time. Not to mention, everyone there was so friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They helped me set up a rental car and cleaned my car before returning it to me! If I ever need anymore repair work will definitely bring my baby back here! read more

Criminals run this place! If you end up stuck in there trap it will cost you a lot of money. The police insisted Commack Towing remove my car after it was in a fender bender. Commack Towing charged me $430 for a 3 mile tow to their collision shop. They held my car hostage until I got them cash. When this happens to you report them to the town at 631-351-3167. These smooth talkers run 3 different businesses out of 1 location. Why? I can only assume its part of their scam. They are Commack Towing, Combined Auto Collision and East Coast Transport. Their collision shop offered me a "free" estimate of $2,300 to get my car running again which they charged me $70 for the estimate. I drove it to another place and it only needed $220 of repairs. Don't just walk.... Run away as soon as you can before they clean out your wallet. read more

I first went to Combined Auto Collision 6 or 7 years ago to have the roof painted on my Ford High-Top Conversion Van and I remembered they did an excellent job. Now, thanks to a local car wash ripping the passenger mirror off my 2020 Ford F150 and damaging my passenger door, I needed 3 dents fixed, along with the passenger door and front fender repainted. Rob and Team once again treated me very well and did an excellent job. Now my truck looks great, just as if nothing happened! Even though I could have made life easier by going to a body shop closer to where I live in Centereach, the $70.00 I spent for (2) Uber rides back & forth to East Northport was well worth it. I'm not a person that writes many reviews but I want to thank Rob and Team for their great work, and for getting my truck back to me so quickly! I got into a car accident (it was the other guys fault) and went to combined to get the back of my car fixed (pretty bad damage). A friend of my family's referred me here so I tried them out. They did a GREAT job. It took a little longer than I originally expected because the parts were back ordered and then we had a bad snow storm. They were super friendly and kept me updated and even took care of setting up a rent a car for me. I highly recommend this body shop! read more

Needed some work done, bumper replacement, lift gate scoop with break light replacement, fender dent w scratches, some door dings, other minor dings. I said I want to spend 1500$ at most. Rob there wrote everything down, said will let me know but I got no call. Called there got little info and they said they weren't done. It took four more days, rental car charges adding up, then a rush to get he car for the weekend when I told them I absolutely needed it back. I had to rush review the work as they were closing and missed that the work discussed wasn't fully done. I noticed the bumper joint popped out, next thing I know they are squeezing glue into it. Frustrated and late, had to leave and wanted to pay less than full price so could return to finish next week. No, had to pay full to get car, had no choice so paid. Next day I saw several more things not done and poor paint, glued joint popped out. Called Amex to dispute payment. I could have respect for them had they called to tell me what could be done for what I wanted to spend, instead they delayed and threw the car at me in rush to get paid. Very unprofessional and no good communication or confirming work for price. Every time I was there had to wait and wait while they talked to each other about everything else but my work in front of me and took calls. read more

I was badly sideswiped at the crowded GWB, 2 lanes merging into one. While waiting my turn, the trailer behind the pickup truck to my right, deeply gashed the back passenger door, the front door and the front bumper of my not-even-one-year-old Subaru as it passed me. Combined did an INCREDIBLE job! They did not take too long, were helpful and courteous, fair priced and careful about every detail. When I picked up my car, I was overjoyed - I felt like I was getting into a brand new automobile! I cannot recommend them more highly! Do yourself a favor - bring your car to Combined! read more

This is probably the worst place you can ever go to for service. Recently, I brought my 2009 Hummer there to get worked on. Turns out they charged me $500 for nothing. My car was in an accident prior, and needed to be completely fixed. After waiting a month for my car, there was more problems when I picked it up then when I dropped it off. My car needed bushing sounds fixed, electrical work and more but when I was given my car back after waiting over 3 weeks the bushing sounds were even worse and they had left my car out in a rain storm which caused more electrical damage and I had informed them of this problem prior. They also misinformed my insurance company about what they fixed and charged me $500 for more problems. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE. read more
