Upon walking in, we were greeted by Noah and The kind Navy veteran ( I forgot his name). Both were very kind and welcoming. They were holding a dnd tournament and it looked like locals love hanging out here. They have a wide variety of TCG singles, booster packs, and sleeves. There's definitely something for everyone here! We were informed that they'll be hosting events and parties in the future; which is something to look forward to! Highly recommend!

I recently got back into collecting Pokemon cards and I'm so glad I stumbled across Zander's Game House in Camarillo. Story time: it was my buddy's 32nd birthday. I'm doing Sober October (so no booze for now), and I've been replacing that with video games and Pokemon collecting. So, we spent the day cruising the 805, hitting every card shop we could find -- and what a score to find Zander's open until 10PM, selling packs close to list price with purchase limits to keep things fair. That alone made me a fan. But what sealed it was the customer service. Jeanne S. went above and beyond -- from setting packs aside for me when I called or messaged, to inviting me into their Discord community. Every interaction has been genuinely welcoming. The shop's always got great energy -- D&D campaigns, Magic: The Gathering matches, and people just hanging out enjoying the hobby. These are my people: nerds, enthusiasts, and lovers of all things Zander's. I'm currently mastering three sets -- Scarlet & Violet 151, Mega Evolutions, and Japanese Phantasmal Flames -- and I'll be a customer for life thanks to Zander's great pricing, stellar service, and awesome community vibe.

It was super clean, highly organized and attention to detail! There are so many games to choose from!! Xboxs, PlayStations, Nintendo switches, ect and top of so many games! This is the gaming world!! Their price points are reasonable for gaming. They also have many funko pops, accessories, shirts and other awesome things too!! So I came in to buy an Apple Itune giftcard along with some questions. Jadon was helped me ring up my purchase. I asked him about all of the Nintendo switches. He so very knowledgeable, kind, sweet, caring, super down to earth, genuine. Jadon really has this very positive upbeat personality about himself. Joshua came in to work When I was talking and had some extra add conversations about the switch too! I really appreciated both them and their sweet opinions and about these consoles ! I would like that thank GameStop Oxnard for giving me this wonderful and positive experience! Would love to Thank Jadon & Joshua for helping me out! I'll tell all my Family & Friends to come here! Please be Respectful, Kind and Courteous to these awesome workers!

Every time I've been here, the staff have been extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They will take the time to patiently explain the deals they currently have, what they don't have and have in stock, and suggestions on how you can get your game/cards/items as soon as possible. I've never encountered mediocre service at this store. It's always been above average to exceptional. The prices can be ok to great depending on what promotions they have going on, but luckily a dedicated staff member will help you get what you want or want adjacent at a reasonable price!

After I moved they upscaled their location over to Ventura Blvd. off Las Posas in the big plaza there. They're in between HomeGoods and The Home Depot on the western end of the shopping area. Often when Dear Hubby and I go over to Ventura for the afternoon, I'll plan to stop at this Michael's on the way back home. It's a convenient location with lots of free parking. Over the years, they've stepped up the merchandising layout of the store. I can easily be enticed by the seasonal items they stock, as those seem to get cuter each year. The yarn department can be hit or miss still. Am hoping that they will get one of the newer yarn / fabric departments which are arising out of the purchase of Joann's labels for yarn, especially. Our Sweet Granddaughter influences me to stay interested in crafting, including jewelry making, which she loves. She wants me to teach her how to crochet, which I will gladly do when her hands get a little bigger. She's just turning 6, so it may be a bit too soon and lead to frustration instead of joy. We'll get there, though. Last time I stopped in, most of what I bought was to work on making friendship bracelets with SG. It's helpful to be signed up for Michael's rewards program, as that usually provides extra discounts when it's time to cash out. They run good sales throughout the seasons, so you can usually get a good price on whatever items you're seeking. In my creative shopping Joann's was #1 and Michael's #2. Now that Joann's is gone, Michael's moves into the #1 spot.

STORE MANAGER IS A NIGHTMARE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!…read more I was willing to drop $300 dollars for a frame, but after encountering this Store Manager, yikes no thanks! I left a frame back at the store by accident and stupid of me, I did not print out a receipt. Apparently this was enough for the store manager to accuse me of getting free merchandise. I paid for the items, I just left it at your store. I needed to find one of the employees who literally walked my items with me at the cashier to confirmed I did indeed buy it. She did not want to bring confirm with one of her employees I bought the items, she did not want to check her systems, NOTHING! Always get a receipt because this Micheal's will steal from you if you don't! It's sad because there is some genuine good people here who will help you but the manager is god awful. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! Go to Hobby Lobby or Micheal's in Ventura instead.

They don't stock much of anything relating to ICs or transistors, but you'll find a selection of chassis, and hardware items to build up your prototypes. T One downside is that since they have so few walk-in customers, you can't get in to the parts area without waiting for one of the phone support people to break free and walk you over to the parts area. Another down side is that much of their shelf stock is very old. Spray cans of solvent may be half-empty from can leaks, and electrolytic aren't necessary going to be fresh. But with components like fans, relays, transformers, resistors, etc. that won't matter. They also carry hand tools, tool cases, heat-shrink, solder, connectors, adapters, plugs... just a lot of other stuff to create and repair electronic projects. Their pricing is not particularly cheap. The people working there (mostly in cubicles doing phone orders) are very nice.
