The on site personnel we dealt with were fine, although you could tell they were frustrated with their back office, but we had one mishap after the other dealing with Safelite operations. From scheduling snafus to lost orders to finally showing up with the wrong part. What made it worse was each and every time they had an excuse - first it was the insurance company not sending a work order, then they must've received the wrong VIN, lastly it was the vendor who sold them the glass that got it wrong. When my husband gave pushback on them not verifying the windshield was the correct one, Safelite boy insisted it was the correct part for the vehicle and there were only minor differences. Despite the fact the windshield they showed up with was a completely different shape! When my husband said he was losing confidence that Safelite knew what they were doing, Safelite boy suggested we go somewhere else. Best advice we ever received!

This resulted in the wrong piece being ordered. They then send they couldn't have anyone out until Thursday ( whatever happened to " same day?"). The manager was rude. All they had to do was to email a confirmation ( asked them twice) and the miscommunication could have been avoided. The manager said they don't do that . Manager's name was Stacy Croley. Vicky, the initial scheduler was quite nice and admitted it was her mistake. I guess Ms Croley didn't care about that. Please avoid. The only bright spot was Dan, the installer who was amazing!! He was kind and pro-active.
