Went in to see if Evans Vacuum worked on Dysons. Jon and his staff were welcoming, very knowledgeable to diagnose my concern which required a replacement filter. But, Evans Vacuum had an array of other vacuums and shampooers beyond my expectations and definitely met a need that I'd been challenged with for a long while. Having replaced builder grade carpet with wood floors other than in my MBR which I replaced with "Friese Carpet". The problem I encountered was the "Tracking" or "High Traffic in need of cleaning Track Marks" that I could not rid from the Friese Carpet. Trust me, I've tried everything. "Jon to the rescue" - introduced me to the "HOOVER SMARTWASH CARPET SHAMPOOER" with FLEXFORCE PERFORMANCE, MDL# FH52001 which I purchased. It is perfect for my Friese carpet. We took our vacume to Evans vacuum cleaner co. we got as a wedding gift from Bed Bath and Beyond. We had not been able to use it for months due to the bar not spinning. The store manager Michael O'Banion greeted us and we told him our problem. He took us aside and fixed it within seconds. We also explained we wanted it cleaned. He showed us how to clean it very easily this was all within one min. or less. He could have taken advantage of us or charged us for a cleaning but instead refused our money ( after we offered it many times) and was super nice and helpful. Unlike a mechanic shop were you have no idea if your getting ripped off this place is completely honest and trust worthy. I actually couldn't believe it the only thing he asked was to tell people that we were satisfied with our service so me and my wife (Sean and Sarah) thought this would be the best way to do so. I purchased a Radiance Premium Riccar Vacuum Cleaner from the 3300 S. Cooper Street location. I was told it was the best and it has definitely proved itself! The carpeting even feels plusher after it is vacuumed. This vacuum cleaner is so convenient to use with all the on-board attachments. And with just a twist of a knob, I go from floors to hand held attachments. Everything is right where you need it. Cleaning has been made so much easier and convenient. The customer service is impeccable. They really know their business when it comes to service. I have always been made to feel like the most important customer. I WAS a devoted Kirby customer but after using this Riccar Radiance Premium vacuum cleaner, I would consider purchasing no other brand. You can't lose by purchasing from this place! After taking apart my Dyson and cleaning it so many times it finally broke on me and I went to Evan's on Cooper in Arlington to get my Dyson fixed. Evan's has remarkable customer service! Even before you walk in there is a sign that says something along the lines of allowing them to help you take the Vacuum in! If that's not caring about your customers I don't know what is. I think all businesses should take a lesson from this place! Fast service, kind people, and they are knowledgable and know that they are doing. I suggest anyone who has any issues with their vacuum come by because you really won't be disappointed in their services. They take their customers and business seriously and it shows. Four years ago my cheaply made Shark fell apart. I decided to find something better, did my research, and purchased a Miele upright from Evans Vacuum at their Arlington store on Cooper Street. I liked my Miele so much that a few years later I purchased a Miele canister for my daughter as a wedding present. Recently my upright needed some maintenance so I took it in. Michael, the store manager, explained what it needed and had it ready the next business day. You don't get this product knowledge and customer service at the big box stores. I've been very pleased with my Miele and with shopping at Evans Vacuum. We've all seen the Shark commercials... don't buy a Shark, but spend a little more and get a quality vacuum that will last much longer. They're well worth the money! read more

Love the American made Immaculate Riccar Canister vacuum. Back in 2006, I originally purchased the Riccar XCP upright vacuum which worked wonderfully until 2014 when I traded it for the Immaculate Riccar Canister vacuum. This American made Immaculate Riccar canister is just what it claims to be, immaculate with a great warranty and service plan.. I love the fact it has a dusting function as it vacuums the tile and wood floors leaving my floors clean with a shine. The attachments for carpet and throw rugs are easy to attach for those areas as well. I truly have to share, I thought, I would never like a canister vacuum but this Immaculate Riccar canister has totally impressed me and I would certainly buy this one again. read more

On my way to a big box store to purchase a new washer and dryer, I stopped by Evans Vacuum Cleaner to pick up floor polish and walked out with a Miele washer and dryer! Jon Evans and store manager Evan installed it the next day and hauled away my old w/d - not an easy job as I'm on the second floor of a 60-year old condo. They were cheerful, on time and efficient. Compared to the extra charges and scheduling issues involved in ordering from a big box store, my purchase from Evans was a solid deal. BEWARE! Absolutely the most horrendous service I have ever been accustomed to! After leaving our $1000.00 Miele Vacuum at this location the management seems to have lost all records of the vacuum! I do know that before the new management took over that the vacuum was there as we were trying to decide whether to purchase the part needed through them or through EBAY! We traded our car in that had the claim ticket for the repair so it has been lost! Now we are trying to find the serial number per their request to no availe! We are now out a $1000. vacuum and to file suit would mean more than another vacuum would cost us! JUST PEOPLE BEWARE! read more

I brought my upright Miele vacuum in for a repair but due to supply chain issues and COVID the part would not be available for 3 months. So I needed to buy a new machine. The owner spent a great deal of time educating me on the vacuums that would meet my needs. I did buy a Sebo but once I got it home and tried it on a shag carpet I quickly learned it would not work for me. It had way too much suction power for that type of rug. I called the store and they allowed me to exchange it for a different model. The vacuums are expensive but you get what you pay for and they can sometime come with a 5 year warranty which is a great deal. read more

I bought a Ricar vacuum cleaner from Evans Vacuum several years ago. The Ricar vacuum is the best cleaner I have ever owned. The service I receive on my machine from Evans Vacuum is excellent. I take the machine in every year for maintenance service. Evans is very good about giving me suggestions about caring for the machine and are prompt in completing the service and notifying me when it is ready to pick up. I went in to see about a Meile, which I have always wanted. I looked at several models, price checked against other competitors and he matched their price (bestbuy). He was super nice and threw in a group of bags. They also have a dog in the store, which is great since I have dogs and wanted a vacuum that will clean up dog hair well. A good experience all around. A few years ago our Kirby caught on fire... Funny story... Fortunately it did not terrify my young son too much and he still uses a vacuum. Anyway, Evans Vacuum fixed the old Kirby right up like new. It is still working great. I have since moved out of the area, but it's worth the drive into Arlington to come back to Evans for any future repairs I may need. read more
