Came with the fam, we ordered huevos rancheros 4/10 the salsa used seemed more like an enchilada sauce or Taco Bell mild sauce and there was so much of it, my plate ended up looking like a bowl of soup. Unfortunately, it didn't hit the mark. Corned beef hash and eggs 6.5/10. Chilaquiles verdes 9/10, chilaquiles rojos 10/10, Build your own omelet 7/10, iced horchata latte 12/10 it tasted earthy and cinnamony in the best way, not overly sweet like many other horchata lattes tend to be. Cafe de olla 10/10 also not extremely sweet which my parents appreciated. Staff was friendly and attentive. They asked multiple times if we needed coffee refills and if we needed anything else. Bathrooms were clean, and front of house was too.

Evarista's Comal is incredible! From the moment we walked in, we felt super welcomed. We ended up having the nicest conversation with the staff! It seriously felt like we were just catching up with a family member. The conversation flowed so easily, and the overall vibe completely felt like having food at an aunt or uncle's house (the ultimate Hispanic household hospitality!). On top of the amazing energy, the food came out super fast and was absolutely delicious. Our server kept checking in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt so taken care of and can't wait to come back!

Great breakfast place, family operated on top of that. Came here due to the reviews, was def worth it. We got corned beef hash, Chile Verde omelette, pancakes and avocado toast. The Chile Verde was great, salty and flavorful with a slight spiciness. Combined with the omelette, it was a great treat in the corn tortillas. Beef hash was solid, albeit not too special but the hash brown was crunchy. Pancake was fluffy and decorated with banana and strawberries. Don't expect rush service and enjoy.

This place is not fancy, trendy or hip. However if you want to go to a friendly cozy place with good food this is it! This is a welcoming family-owned and run place where they treat you like you are visiting their home. I enjoyed the hamburger with handmade patties that were juicy and flavorful. The only thing I would change is the bun as it got moist and was a little to soft to hold up to the hefty meat patty. The Salmon Eggs Benedict had generous portions the hollandaise sauce was particularly good and the accompanying hash browns were cooked to perfection being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Super friendly and speedy service for breakfast and lunch. Cocktails aren't terrible or special - basic. On Sunday morning for brunch they have a duo performing Mexican music - really cute couple. It's small but we were seated quickly. I'd return.

    Chilaquiles verdes with steak side

Me and my wife got red & green chilaquiles with some steak everything was delicious! My sister got huevos rancheros and they were also delicious! Cafe and chocolate Mexicano was tasty!

Sabores de Mexico! Bite after bite, I was transported. So many flavors and perfect presentations brought me back to great sensations, memories, and fantastic flavors of 40 years of traveling through Mexico. Warm greetings by the team resonated at all the right frequencies singing red white and green. Muchas Gracias y hasta Pronto Evarista's!

Great service and food! My husband and I came here for breakfast one Friday morning. I got the crab Benedict and he got the rojo pork omelette, I can't remember what it was called lol. But they both came out amazing. We were super stuffed and left happy! We will be back!

AI (so it sounds EpiC!!!!!!!!) says: "San Marco Taqueria in Capitola is a pretty popular spot, known for its solid Mexican food, and their breakfast burrito is definitely a crowd favorite! If I remember right, their breakfast burritos are loaded with a good mix of eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and cheese, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. They've got that perfect balance of hearty and comforting--plus, their salsa is pretty legit! Have you been there before or just heard good things about their breakfast burrito?" The breakfast burrito was hot. (temperature-wise) It was filled with plenty of fillings, but potatoes and eggs only go so far. The winning solution was the salsa in the ketchup squeeze bottle looking things at the window. Unfortunately, I ran low on that stuff not even half way consuming the burrito. Fortunately, the burrito was a decent size. Win some, lose some. Got a chorizo breakfast burrito and wasn't overwhelmed by the meat content. Sort of wanted that to happen. Nice outdoor seating with a window to the outside, probably for serving customers who didn't want a roof. Bowls of water (a couple, at least) for the dog were found outside. Don't forget the salsa. (That's your flavor...everything else...meh...)

On the way back home we stopped by this little Taqueria restaurant. There's no parking spaces here, we parked over the bank since it's on Sunday, empty. The restaurant is clean, the salsa bar is right there with all the great stuff, the amazing thing is the chips all you can eat are there too. The chips and salsa here are the best anywhere, even better than Mexico or Cancun. So crispy, light, and the pico de gallo is excellent and fresh. I had the fish tacos, plentiful but a little surprised since the fish is not fried as all the places I've been, it's sauteed or steemed, no vegetables like shredded cabbage or anything, just lots of fish chunks and soft taco shell. Anyhow, it's fresh and delicious. Our other members ordered beef, pork tacos and they're so mouth watering too. There are so many young people like students coming to this place, so crowded and lucky we got the table to finish our foods quickly so others can sit. I tried the rice drink and it's like rice water and sugar, it's good but extremely sweet. This is the place I will visit after a long hiking day, it's wonderful and I love the chips and salsa here.

I will not be coming back. Be kind to your customers especially i was trying to help you. Lol. The meat was overly cooked. The burrito still had rice in it. Fries were very oily.
