Cinnamon roll was like wood and the Danish was older than old. Service was equally as good as the the products.

My only experience with this bakery is when I picked up an order for a meeting the company I work for was having. That experience was very pleasant though. I pulled up at 7:15am thinking it would be a process to get in that early. Instead, I pulled up to a bakery door wide open, and the incredible smell of pastries. I saw a women (Ava?) working really hard inside for how early it was! She told me she had been up since 4am baking so everything is fresh. I'm guessing she does this every morning and not just for special orders. So now to the taste. We ordered about 4 different flavors of danishes. A couple different berries by themselves, then cheese, then cheese with berries. These were so good I ate 2 of them, and when I say they are huge, that is an understatement. You know when something tastes so good, you can't stop eating it even though you are really full? These are THAT good. She was a lovely person to talk to so early in the morning, the bakery smelled incredible, and it was clean. It is a tiny mom and pop. I stopped by last February, on Paczki Day. I live in Land O Lakes now, but I'm from Chicago(which is like a suburb of WARSAW, lol). It's easy to find Paczki in Chicago, in the Tampa area, not so much! I was so excited to find this Polish Bakery. I found it to be a very nice bakery, and hearing everyone's Polish accents made me feel like I was back in Chicago! The Paczkis were delicious, just as they should be! Perhaps people who have complained don't understand Eastern European bakery goods? I just adore Polish cheesecake, it's actually the only kind I like! And if someone stops at a bakery late in the day, of course the baked goods aren't going to be as fresh as in the morning, which is when bakers make their products, DOH! Sadly I was let down. This Cheesecake was nasty. Was dry and tasted like a bar of straight up cream cheese. No good texture from this. The cake part on the bottom tasted stale. I also tried the cannolis and they were soft which means they were stale. The cream inside the cannolis was hard and really had no good flavor. read more

Scrolling through Yelp yesterday I found this bakery. I'm always on the lookout for a good cheese danish a nice brown bread and of course if you got some cookies. I took a ride and here I find a fantastic Polish bakery. Parking was a little tight they share a lot with many other busy stores in the strip mall on 54. Walking in you see a case of lovely pastries. I purchased a large brown bread Eva also suggested her Rye-bread is delicious. Cheese danish as well as a Polish doughnut filled with prune and of course my favorite a poppy seed danish. Also bought a small box of ruguleh. I had the brown bread and it is seriously delicious solid brown bread large round loaf reasonably priced. All of the danishes are huge you eat half you come back later for the other half it isn't that good. She made an awfully delicious chocolate cheesecake as well yes of course I bought a slice of cheesecake for someone. I have passed by here about 20 times now & never really noticed it nestled in the strip mall on Hwy. 54. Upon entering my taste buds went into sensory overload. The smell of fresh dough baking with various ingredients, was a heavenly smell. Since it was my first visit I only got a doughnut & a danish. They were both sinfully delicious & made me wish I had gotten more. They say it has a Polish heritage, whatever the heritage, it is done right! What's a girl to do? Today I purchased a slice of tiramisu for $5 and preordered a Black Forest Cake for Mothers Day for $23 which was $12 dollars cheaper than another bakery nearby. Went there around 10 am a few days ago to get an eclair. Almost all gone, just a few very small left that did not look appetizing so opted for a cheese Danish. Pastry was dry with no flavor (again , this is mid-late morning) . Also bought half loaf of rye bread. Okay but moldy by next day. Reason for two stars, not one? If you are anywhere near Pasco you need to stop by Eva's. As with most Pasco businesses this place is in a plaza- but you walk through the door and the smell of fresh baked goodness just wraps you up in comfort as the assortment of pastries and cakes in the two long display cases overwhelm you. I had the pastries the first several times I stopped in and finally tried their doughnuts. The light airy doughnuts and the flavors are enough to bring me back to this amazing place every week. OK if you want your Bucks well spent in Pasco County then you need to high tail it on down to Eva's Bakery on 54. Its in a little strip mall next to Dunkin Donuts. It clearly is not competition because they have fantastic pastures, breads, babkas, eclairs and more. The menu is endless with Polish Bakery selections. My husband got Apple danish that he said was so good and had a flaky crust, also wasn't too sweet. I indulged in an Éclair. All I have to say for a Sweet Cheat it was so worth it. The pastry was airy, fluffy and melted in your mouth, the cream was buttery, fluffy and not too sweet. Was almost like fluffy whipped cream on a cloud it was covered with a little dark chocolate and powdered sugar. Now if you've ever wanted to be alone with something indulgent this is the item I recommend highly. Your bucks will always be well spent here. Tried this Bakery because I have heard just how great they are. I stopped by purchased some cookies and an apple pie just showered with powered sugar. Real Polska style. The crust is AMAZING and flaky and you can taste actual butter. Real homemade and authentic in every way, Apple filling was so fresh and tasty. I will be coming back for the donuts soon.
